Absolutely loved this restaurant. The service was amazing the ambience 👌🏾😍 just beautiful. Great for breakfast/lunch dates whether solo or with a group. Went for a small bite and absolutely loved it and quite filling. If you’re a sweet tooth would definitely recommend the nutella milkshake. Just perfect. Would definitely go back again to try one of the meals. Also, if you plan on visiting make reservations to get a good spot😉

This is where happiness lives 😊. At the outdoor seating, there's a table for two under a beautiful tree 🌳 with the perfect ambience! You guys, I think I found the one! I was happy here. I didn't want to leave. The service reflected the beauty of the space and so, how can I not tell you about Karel-T? They have happy hour and their cocktails are a must try.....also, rumour had it that a live band accompanies you on specific days. So yeah, go and let me know if I'm exaggerating or I really dis find the ONE!

Absolutely outstanding and fantastic restaurant in the Village Market Mall. It is near the back of the mall. This place is amazing. The food is top notch and the service is what you would expect from a fine dining experience. I really and truly enjoyed my meal here for lunch. I have tried so many places and have been super frustrated but this food was a very refreshing experience. If you're in the area. Go!!!

Karel T-Lounge is a really classy restaurant at the Village market. The ambiance was amazing, I loved how beautiful and clean the restaurant was. The staff are so friendly and were really helpful with our order. The food we ordered for was delicious and we didn't have to wait for long to be served. The cocktails were really good and we loved the service there. I would definitely recommend this place for dinner, lunch or brunch. It's a bit pricey but you can always treat yourself once in a while😉

Very warm welcome, the food was scrumptious, very good portion sizes and very affordable, the cocktails were absolutely awesome ….we were there for a birthday dinner and the staff gave us a good dance! The atmosphere is really cool and it's a must place to dine or to have breakfast when in Nairobi. Unique decor and design. It is difficult to describe all the great flavors of everything we had, so I will post few pics to drool over. Highly recommended. Live music somedays of the week too!!

If you are at Village Market, and looking for a great spot to wind down and relax, this is definitely the place for you.The ambience is great and has a touch of elegance. The food and cocktails were great too! I sat upstairs on a beautiful sunny Saturday afternoon and enjoyed listening to the band playing jazz music as I had cocktails. I ordered the Passionate K, and the Cosmopolitan cocktails from the happy hour menu and later on had some tapas (some Calamari with tempura sauce and later had a burger with some fries)! All quite tasty...

Great ambience and amazing table service has to top the things I like about this place. Prices range from 700/- to 2500/- roughly for food and they offer happy our for some drinks. Great place to meet with friends or a significant other.

A truly beautiful place, with a unique atmosphere. Great for an afternoon with friends, or a romantic evening. The food is presented in an appropriate and elegant way, excellent variety of dishes on the menu, excellent selection of wines too. A good espresso coffee and an excellent tiramisu. I was in Nairobi briefly for a business trip and was amazed when I walked into the restaurant, there's a friendly well dressed gentleman that welcomed us and escorted us upstairs, the decor is breath taking, the staff warm and friendly, Kevin, our waiter was perfect. The food took abit of time but it was worth the wait, the barman made us special cocktails we had ordered for and came to talk to us on the table, the fondant was my favorite and the icing on the cake was the nice little washroom they have within the restaurant, very clean and well put together. Bravo.

Let's talk ambience first... the ambience is great... the staff were very friendly and kept checking on us to ensure we had everything we needed. The food, my goodness!! Such finesse on the pork chops! Totally recommend 👌🏾. And the spring chicken! The mixture of vegetables and sauces for each food was chosen such that the flavours just burst in your mouth. Definitely one of my best food experiences in a restaurant. Also it was my birthday and the staff were very gracious to sing for me 😁

Visited out of curiosity (and because we were thirsty after hours of serious shopping). Although we didn't have a reservation, we were given a table by the bay window that has an amazing view of Nairobi. The cocktails were out of this world. I don't remember the last time I had such a delicious cocktail (tree tomato fruit based). The waiters were friendly and polite, and when we asked for the bill, it came with handwritten thank you postcard. Nice touch!! I'll definitely be returning there when I'm next back in Nairobi.

This is one of the bests restaurants I’ve ever been to. The ambience is great and the service is even better. I really enjoyed my meal and I appreciated the help I got in choosing from the menu. Perfect for a date night or even a casual dinner after shopping at Villagr Market.

Portions are rather generous. Service was warm and welcoming, the waitress made us feel completely at home. All the staff were well trained and thoroughly polite. The breadstick and dips were just about right. However the main course was a bit of a letdown, being incredibly salty. My fish Harissa would have been tasty had it not been for the exceedingly salty taste. My friend, who made the same complaint, did not even finish his tagliolini. We sat upstairs and being a warm day, I thought perhaps some cooling system would have made the dining experience a bit more comfortable on such a day.

The ambience is on point. Presentation is unmatched and the music is cool. However, the food is a little below average and the quantities are dismal. They could do better on the quality of food. Eat elsewhere and come to have drinks and chill.

Excellent ambiance, very friendly staff, very delicious meals! Only thing they should think about is creating a changing area for babies. Otherwise I will go back over and again anytime I need to relax.

They offer buffet on order at this restaurant for events such as birthday. Food is tasty and atmosphere is pleasant with a touch of originality. Staff is welcoming and caring. Price is a bit higher but worthy of the quality of service they provide.

Located at the Village Market, has great ambience i loved the interior decor and generally how the space is furnished the vibe it brings is one of a chilled spot best suited for cocktails with your girls or boys or just generally a group of friends on a good sunny day. The service was okay just there nothing out of the ordinary or that was not expected. For the food i didn't quite like their portions for me it wasn't worth what i paid for moreover the food wasn't all that, i had rice and pan fried garlic prawns i found the rice very boring and tasteless to be quite honest and the prawns i couldn't taste the garlic in them, for me the food was quite a disappointment totally not worth it. Though i loved the dessert it was quite okay. If I'd recommend it for drinks yes but food not really.

The ambience is absolutely fantastic, classy and very elegant. It’s airy and lots of natural light especially if you sit upstairs. The food however is dismal, the portions too small for the prices they charge. The taste very average. We went to eat at Cjs restauraunt. My smoothie ( which was meant to be an assortment of berries) was very watery, full of icecubes and what i suspected was food colours. I overhead the couple sitted next complain and they returned tje smoothies. Overall come with a full stomach here and just ask for drinks and enjoy the music, and romantic setting for an evening.

Came here on Friday without a reservation got the best seat and great service. The waiters are so attentive and helpful. I had the Grilled Chicken with mashed potatoes which was THE bomb and Lady in Purple cocktail which was equally as good. The ambience is also really good and you can easily have a conversation without shouting. Best experience!

The service delivery was managed well and in a timely manner, considering we were 26 guests under the same booking. The reservation process was rather seamless and Isaac and the team were responsive and proactive. I forgot the names of the ladies who took care of us on the evening but they did a great job and are the reason we would recommend this restaurant and probably come back. Thank you for making the evening as memorable as it was.

Food ordered was below average.... crispy prawns coated in tempura, fries and salad was basic without any dressing, no seasoning at all! They promised to improve in future and offered a complementary ☕. Excellent services and very clean 👍

I had an amazing afternoon at Karel T lounge village market. The band was very entertaining, the food was superb, but most of all the service we received from Irene made the whole experience come together perfectly. The staff are all very attentive and professional. I would highly recommend and I am definitely going back soon. 😉 Keep up the good work and Irene thanks for the splendid service.

My friends and I decided to celebrate our new years at the Karel T-Lounge and it was quite a lovely experience. Isaac the manager is friendly and was more than happy to reserve us couches near the band that was playing that afternoon. The food was delicious. I ordered the fish of the day with a side of mashed potatoes which were delectable. As for the Their happy hour , it run all day that day with the offer being, buy 2 cocktails and get the 3rd one free, the cocktails weren't my favourite. The ambience is A-1. Comfortable couches, well aerated and a beige aesthetic with highlights of blue from what I remember. Their service is fast as well. I enjoyed myself.

Modern vibe with a miami flare. If your chilly at night they will be more than happy to warm you up with tall flame heat lamps. Impeccable servers that don't make excuses, but are pleasant and aim to please. Very nice vibe.

Have anyone eaten from karel T lounge and felt wierd? I just had lunch like an hour ago. I only had a steak n water. Nothing alcoholic. I drove off like 30mins after the lunch, and just when i was approaching the roundabout at the UN to join ruaka road i felt something wierd in my head and i couldn't see clearly. I was actually trying to open my eyes wide open. Then i started feeling high. I had to park on the roadside at gothogoro as i was already feeling paranoid. Am still high, not as bad, but still. And from what i have explained to my friends they think thats WEED! And there is only one way to explain it. The food from Karel as i havent had anything else to eat since diner last night

A super impromptu lunch the gent that served us was super friendly extremely professional and so neatly dressed. The salmon sandwich was super generous the fries great fresh juices really fresh! Great ambiance friendly service clean environment truly remarkable

We celebrated my friends' birthday here.They were able to accommodate us despite making a last minute reservation for 9 on the morning of the dinner.The ambience is so amazing.Expect some waiting time for the meals around 40 minutes especially on busy days.The food was well done with amazing presentation but expect a small portion size😁

Absolutely loved the ambiance at this spot! The food was incredibly tasty too. However, my service experience was quite disappointing. Despite placing my order first, it arrived nearly 20 minutes after everyone else at my table had finished their meals. Dining alone due to the delay was truly disheartening😞
