The Giraffe Centre Nature Trail, situated directly opposite the main Giraffe Centre, is a hidden gem that greatly enriches the overall visitor experience. This trail is an oasis of tranquility amidst the bustle of Nairobi and provides excellent walkability for those looking to immerse themselves in nature. Location and Accessibility: Its close proximity to the Giraffe Centre makes it easy to pair both experiences in a single visit. The trails are well-marked and manageable for people of varying fitness levels. Plant Life and Educational Aspect: What sets this nature trail apart is its impressive variety of indigenous plant life. The trail features clear and informative displays that explain the significance of each plant species you encounter. This educational aspect adds layers of depth to your walk, making it more than just a simple stroll in nature. Footgear and Recommendations: While the trail is generally well-maintained, wearing adequate footgear is advisable for a comfortable and safe experience. The ground can be uneven in places, and proper shoes will ensure you can focus on enjoying the surroundings. Cost and Value: The nature trail is free to enter, offering incredible value. It serves as a perfect complement to the Giraffe Centre, allowing visitors to understand the broader ecosystem in which these magnificent animals live. Overall Recommendation: The Giraffe Centre Nature Trail is highly recommended. It's not just a walk but an educational journey that helps visitors appreciate the richness of Kenya's natural heritage. The free entry makes it accessible for everyone and its close location to the Giraffe Centre makes it a must-visit for a comprehensive experience of wildlife and botany.

Exhilarating walk up to the top of the hill. No guides available but a few signs along the way talking about the plants and their uses. With a bit of imagination you can make up your own stories on the trail. At the summit you get a lovely panoramic view

A nice nature walk just on the opposite side of the Giraffe center. So nice to listen to the birds, watch butterflies or just chill on one of the benches. Highly recommended, also to learn a bit about the local flora.

Do the trail! It’s amazing, you might be lucky and see giraffes (we weren’t) and warthog dens.

Great place to take a walk. Enjoyed it. The paths are renovated so it's nice to walk on. Would definitely recommend it for someone who likes walking. It's not flat so be prepared to climb. Enjoy 😊

A nice experience, although a person from the place (a guide we think) sticked to us even without asking him and followed us all the time. We ended up asking some questions and asking him some photos so we had to give him tips. The problem with that is that he never offered the service, he just provided without asking. Which for us is very rude.

It's a wonderful experience feeding the giraffe from hands. Also the location is not too far from Nairobi.

Very nice place to be in the next few years ago and it will be able to get the most popular and a bit more than happy for the first time in total of my favourite colour is the best of luck with it.

Very popular place to see giraffes up close (and the some what ignored warthogs) and to feed them. Best early in the mornings or late in the afternoons as the giraffes wander off to seek shade in the middle of the day. Nice woody nature trail area next door for hiking.
