The fries were well seasoned but the onion rings didn't have salt😭Lowlight! The ambience and the interior decor is perfect👌🏽makeing the place good for meetings,dates and family. It also had good views of Westlands!, Will def go back especially to try their cocktails. PS:They have a BOGOF on Mondays for all burgers...save your coins! but you can't order the same burger.

Very comfortable space with options to sit inside or outside. Great experience all in all. Loved the food .... got the chicken stir fry which I throughly enjoyed. Big prtion and very generous with the chicken. I would rate their Passion Mojito a 3.5/5.

The view from the patio is magnificent.  The cocktails are to die for. I however feel like the burgers should have been more succulent. I'd endorse it as a great place to unwind.

The food, the ambience and service was amazing. Their burgers were on point 👌 The dj kept on dropping bangers and bangers. The friday mood was in the air. I'd definitely go back over and over again.

The place is okay for meetings and such. Pros The food was tasty. Steak was well done although I requested medium. Issorait, it was tasty. Worked for about 2 hours with no major distractions. Cons -Portion was tiny and not filling. -No water in urinal so it smelled. -Seats on the booths need urgent attention as they are peeling. -My plate was chipped. Was hoping the chip was not in the food. - No one asked if I wanted anything after my waiter rung me up and left. No handover. -picture did not match plate presented

It's such a chilled place to have your brunch and a few drinks at. Decor on point, their cocktails were really good and so was their food. 10/10.

Well! Their happy hour cocktails will do something to you. They didn't come to play. The cocktails are usually sold at a discounted price during happy hour. If you get to seat outside the view is impeccable and the DJ on point. Featured Long island and Bull frog cocktails

A moderate choice for a drink, snack or food in Sarit Centre, Westlands Nairobi. The place needs some refurbishment and service to be improved. Food quality is ok but looks like kitchen is not well organised and prepares in a hurry. Can and must be improved.

Went for happy hour. Ask for Dan if you want exceptional cocktails. I had the the 7 deadly Sins and it hit the right places. I could have taken better photos. Anyway the burger was juicy I can't complain. The only thing is I had asked for roasted veggies and they brought me 🍟🍟🍟 but no worries there, the fries were 😋😋 too. Good place to hang after work while waiting for the traffic to ease up. Or a simple check in with friends before homing.

It's a nice place to hang out during a work break on a good sunny day. They have a nice outside patio which is perfect for that. The service and food/drink selection was decent, although they did not have my type of milkshake. I'd take half a star off for that, because how would you not be stocked up on milkshake during a hot Kenyan summer day?

Newscafe has really deteriorated since the first time I visited the Sarit Centre branch in 2017. Present day News Cafe is ill maintained, some of our food order was cold (the wings) and it takes ages for the waiters to fulfill drink orders.

I’ve been a couple times, and the food is good. If you are not a smoker the patio is very unpleasant; smokers can sit wherever they want. And inside people take calls and it can get a bit loud. The coffee take a while and you have to really explain your order to make sure the waiter understands.

Antony, one of your waiters, took really good care of us, he was very professional and made us feel welcome. Everything was perfect from your meals to the cocktails, ambience and the music selection too.

I've been here a number of times and the experience has been more or less the same. The food is pretty good but the service is quite poor. I might be a little sensitive on this, but they seem to serve white people a little faster. Not planning on coming back, which is a shame as the ambience and food are actually quite nice.

Cutlery and crockery have seen better days. You have to keep looking for the waiters and everytime u do a different one shows up. Service is extremely slow. Seats and tables at the makeshift storage area are dirty.

I totally loved the place, especially the interior sitting placement. It has a relaxed feel to it with a "London pub style" from the bar to the seats. If you're looking for good food, quality service from the attendants, and a comfortable place to relax, go for dates, meet-ups, or even casual walk-ins. The dj too will keep you rocking to some nice music. 👌

The cake I ordered for dessert was fresh and sweet. The lady serving us was also good. Would definitely recommend the place to everyone.

The food was average at reasonable pricing though it takes time to get the food, maybe because it was a busy evening; the waiters/waitresses were overwhelmed. The ambience was nice, more so, the outside sitting area. However, too many people were smoking there, which killed the vybe. The outside area should be marked as a smoking zone.

I was there on the 15th just before Easter and I loved the service, the Dj was on point and the portions were decent. The food was tasty as well especially that salsa/pico di gallo addition. My only problem was that some of your steak knives are loose so they are quite a hustle to work with.

It's a great place, but there's reasons id rate it 3/5 the dude at the bar firstly said I couldn't take pictures which I thought was odd and slightly rude. The happy hour isn't buy1 get 1 free but slightly reduced. The food is overpriced for the quantity but very good quality. This is a great place to have a quick meeting but not to hang out after a lunch. Overall this place is a 4/5 for a tourist but a 3/5 for a local

Place is looking a little run down, food was really good. The Cajun chicken wrap tastes great, was just a little messy to eat.

The sirloin steak was dry and very hard. I eat a few bites and couldn’t take it anymore. This place is just good as a bar not for meals.

4 stars because the service was too slow besides the restaurant being half full, we had to make our orders from one waiter to the other who would still refer us to a third waiter. There was a very good ambience outside and they play nice slow music. The toilets were very clean and well maintained. I generally enjoyed the food and drinks we had, 10/10 would recommend the Jack Daniels Burger

The outside sitting area has nice aesthetics, however, the seats cushions are so old and torn. The menu books need revamping as well. Otherwise efficient staffs, clean environment. They need an upgrade of their interior.

The service was great, I went here for a team dinner. I think everyone enjoyed their meals, smiles and good vibes all round. I'll definitely go back.

I hope you take this as constructive feedback. Staff looks very unhappy and overworked, no soul no energy, just walking robots who look busy yet there are less people in the restaurant. Hard to get their attention to order, sat there with menu open and looking around to call them yet they past around tables not looking up, also staff walked out while i was ordering and someone else came back to take the order. Never saw any of them smiling or even interested in explaining the menu.

The place is beautiful, I loved my food order, had a mocktail as well with strawberries, mint and lime it was a tad sugary. But their services is veeeery slow had to go inside to request to be waited on and this can rub off in the wrong way. My partner kept signaling one of the waiting staff guy in black attire who acknowledged him but still decided to not attend to us after the meal since we wanted to try the cheesecake as a dessert, we ended up leaving to a different venue for the same. I would recommend maybe motivating the staff as they appeared highly demotivated.

It is a good place with good music, but the music cut off too early. The waiters were slow in taking our order. We had to wait for more than 10 minutes before one of them came to us. I loved the cocktails.

Probably the worst service bi have ever had in Nairobi, waited for 40 minutes and no attendance at all, for a few other tables it was the same for them. 3 bartenders are busy talking with only 4 people sitting at the bar. The waiters that were there ignored several tables and looked like they were only serving like 3-4 tables and ignoring the rest of us. And when not busy with those few tables, they were just chit chatting. If you want anything to eat or drink and they don't know you, it's definitely not the place to go. The 2 stars is only because of the interior design. 😒🙄🧐

Great location, decent food. Bad services, and unwanted music during peaceful lunch time. Waiter could use some follow up training,- You never find waiter when u need them. I am not sure what they do inside but the only time you see will be when they take your order and when deliver the food. If you havekmited time to have you lunch, you better stand up and look for a waiter to help you or give u the bill. This could use better run management by providing more trainings to it's waiters, and at least have wireless speakers on the corners instead the high volume DJ music during lunch hour. Come on...We just need a peaceful time- Did not came here to listen music.....

Nice variety of food and drinks. Price wise is okay, not too expensive. The quality of food is fine, not special.. Good ambience and clean.. But the service is quite slow. I waited 45 minutes just for the breakfast menu.

I love how calm and private it is. I felt secure hanging out with my friends. Their food is also really good and unique.

I like the open air seating in this cafe. It has a huge space unlike other coffee shops. Very Convenient specially during this social distancing days.

Service was ok not great. A little on the pricey side. I just can’t believe a restaurant of this standard would not offer customers filtered water for free. At least I expect to walk into a restaurant and the first thing you are offered is water.

Unfortunately, not what it used to be. Had the Jack Daniels Burger, which unfortunately was dry all round (the bun was doughy and the patty which I asked for medium-well, had zero juice). Their wait-staff being prompt and pleasant was what salvaged the experience.

Pathetic service. Left after waiting for too long to be served. Not worth it at all.
