It was a marvelous experience. Considering that its a monumental place in Kenya's history, I was happy to be at that place early in the morning to view the Nairobi skyline. It is a cool and quiet place early morning for meditation, walks and various exercises. The skyline can help us identify the various buildings landmark buildings in the city. We can identify the Kenyatta international conference centre (K.I.C.C.), the Hilton, Times tower, Parliament buildings, Catholic parochial building, Chester house, Nyayo house, Laico Regency and many more.

The view of downtown Nairobi is spectacular when you are at this view point because it's at the upper side of Uhuru park in upperhill area.

Good place to take family and kids out. Cheap and good sceneries too. Kids fun activities including boat riding, horse riding, camel riding, quardbikes, giant bouncing castles, kids trains, open fields for kids to play etc.

Uhuru Park is known for hosting political rallies during campaigns but there is more to it. There is the boat rides I remember we use to take back in the days, the grounds are amazing and there is plenty of space to relax and unwind…. it’s one of the Kenya’s best places to visit and just take some pictures

Was only there for few minutes to fuel. They charge relatively fair price on petroleum products, will petrol super retailing at sh.122 per litre.

Such a wonderful renovated Uhuru Park in the heart of Nairobi City in Kenya. You can enjoy green sceneries, lots of amazing art around, wonderful views of the central business district, watch the Nairobi expressway, the botanical garden has wow looking flowers and you can't miss to relax on the well manicured green grass. It is time to visit Uhuru Park.
