Very few institutions of higher learning, both public and private can rival Kenyatta University or KU as it is fondly known in the sheer land mass it occupies. And boy, have they not made proper use of the large landmass that the institution sits on. With the reign of Mugenda, this institution underwent a major facelift in terms of infrastructure. Much of what it is today is greatly attributed to Mugenda's efforts. A couple of the expansion programs have clearly borne fruit. An example is the funeral home that doubles up as a school of health sciences. Some were just epic fail like the UniCity mall that largely remains unoccupied. All in all, this institution has experienced a remarkable transformation.

I have been a policy student at this varsity and for it's bookshelves are fully stocked with all types of books and reference materials for research work, personal study and aligning with the current global context.

It is a big university. Has so many students . Covid measures in place, its so clean, and good security.

The Bookshop does not refund money nor give items of the same value in case of an overpayment. They send you in many circles without ever actually giving you any help. They end up staying with the money afterwards because they send you on a wild goose chase that has no end.

It was awesome,most of the stationary are available, plus the staff is very friendly,all items are at an affordable price, you should try shopping there as well😌. Already closed as per the records...

If you're looking for an academically proficient yet environmentally friendly university, welcome to KU. my experience was amazing. I loved the hot showers and clean facilities at KUCC annex and hotel. The chefs are kind and awesome, try prepare the best meals here. If you're a fish lover, you'll exceptionally love these dishes. 😆 Throughout my one-month stay,I couldn't get enough of the campus beauty, it's green environment, the swimming pool, gym facilities, the health unit,the Wi-Fi OMG 😱and tight security is everything you wished to experience. I just couldn't get enough of this place. Try it out.

The University is a world class in regard to the learning environment. When you step into KU as a student or visitor you're assured of peace of mind. The security is definitely great with all the checks happening at the main gate and entrance into some buildings. Some security personnel are quiet rude, harsh and unprofessional though, abit of training would go along way in making their work easier. Also there are very pleasant security people especially one at the entrance to the main administration complex. He's very pleasant and goes an extra mile to greet the staff as they walked or drive into the complex.
