If you are interested in seeing crocodiles, tortoise and ostriches within Nairobi, this is the place! Feeding of crocodiles happens at 4:30pm. The place has a good atmosphere for a picnic (you can bring your own food and sit next to the small waterbody on site). Going by the art pieces on the walls & walkways, deserted amenities like the restaurant & club, play equipment, mamba village is no longer what it used to be. Perhaps a reminder that seasons come and go! When down, the only way to go is up :) Mamba village's light will shine... someday!

I wouldn't recommend it completely. It is very sad the place has run down and is in ruins. Looks abandoned and like a ghost town. Staff are trying the very best to make sure guests are comfortable but the environment makes it difficult to enjoy or even relax. This is a complete disaster. Art Gallery shops closed and dust settled indicates it has been closed for so long. During my visit some I observed school kids playing in bouncing castle, enjoying horse rides and being offered boat rides. Perhaps they were the only happy people at the facility. The cashier didn't have change but when I asked to pay using Card he found change somehow. Alot needs to be done to change the place. It still has potential but alot of things need to be done. For now it's a big NO for me and a huge disappointment.

We pass by this place once a week just to take our minds off things. My children love coming here bits amazing for adults too. The ambience here is just so relaxing you want to keep revisiting it. It's a great way to spend the weekend a must place to visit it. Plus the staff our so friendly.

It was good being able to tick my bucket list activities this day. The place is not far from the road: one can walk from the bus stop terminus: the arrows are very helpful. Prices are: kshs 200 adults kshs 150 children under 12 I.e Kenyans. It was nice seeing the crocodiles being fed at the scheduled feeding times: we witnessed the 4.30pm feeding time. Kids friendly and kids are able to see a replica of what they see on likes of natgeo. The place looked deserted at some places: hopefully they are able to revive and use all the space that's available and have more for us to see. Washrooms were not easily accessible: ones found near the boat riding place were locked. Boat riding was very nice: calm and refreshing

The road leading there and the park also need renovation, the animals and the visitors would also deserve it. The staff is nice and informative, the location is excellent, but the view is a bit depressing.

Mamba village was probably one of the best picnic spots back in the day, but has really gone down since I last visited. There are still a few positives; bandas are available. You can barbecue to your heart's content, but bring your own grill. Boating, fishing, horse riding are still options. All in all, the place needs an upgrade. But you can still have a fun time with family.

Very nice and peaceful place! The stuff are very friendly, they have many crocodiles! And you can see them very close! The place is a bit oldish and need maintenance and the restaurant was closed, otherwise is a nice place and very cheep! Perfect for a weekend escape and relaxation.

The place looks abandoned. Atleast when i visited it which is shortly after writing this review. There is a lot of crocodiles. Some are huge too. You can also see ostriches and if you're lucky get to hold their eggs. There are activities which include horse riding which go for KSH 200, boat riding, and archery ๐ŸŽฏ. While I was there, the prices ranged from KSH 200 for resident adults and KSH 1000 for non-residents. You can also do fishing. However, the atmosphere is a bit boring, the place is a wreck, most of the buildings are abandoned, some structures are damaged and dirty.

Mamba is the Swahili word for crocodile, but guess what? That's not all there is at the Nairobi's mamba village. Superb atmosphere that includes a relatively small man-made "lake" that attracts quite a number of bird species. Not sure whether or not one's allowed to fish here. You're allowed to ride a boat or "cycle" on the lake. The ostrich and tortoise are also present for your pleasure. Really good but pricy food. May take a while to prepare. Excellent sitting space. Saw some grounds that could be ideal for outdoor activities. Very green and lush grass... Wonder if they hire out this space for events??!

The people here go out of their way to make your visit incredible. Personalized tours of the parks, direct contact with the crocodiles, ostriches and tortoises. Great place for children and families - and to learn something new.

Because of covid the place was quite empty, but the staff were so nice and very helpful. We were able to hold one of the tortoises and feed the ostriches, we also went on a boat ride which was lovely

Mamba Village used to be a very good place some years back, unfortunately as of July 2021, the place isn't as it was before not sure if it's because of covid or what. It just looks like an abandoned place, the restaurant is now closed, no electricity in the area, no running water. It's just a picnic site now available. On the positives, there is a lake to enjoy, archery on site, boat riding, horse riding, fishing, crocodiles, tortoise and ostrich viewing. The place is not busy neither is it crowded. The atmosphere is lovely with the surroundings of nature. It's a place I would recommend for family and friends and even for couples who want to enjoy time together.

View is great, drinks fine but am not so keen on the food... So so... It was ok, but could be better. Go for it, you have all it needs. I didn't go see the crocodiles for 10 dollars... I rather see them in a natural environment.

It's a nice place for a brief visit. The guides are knowledgeable and provide insight about the animals in the 'park' - crocodiles, ostriches, and tortoises. However, the restaurant section has since closed and the place is slowly falling into disarray. I hope the place is restored to it's former glory. The place is located away from the heart of the city, has ample parking, and water activities provided fun for the whole family.

Nice place, so many crocodiles, tortoises and ostriches also present. Fishing is allowed, boat rides are available. There's however no restaurant, washrooms are extremely dirty. The place looks underutilised and not well kept overall. Can do so much better.

If you have not seen crocodiles up close then this is the place to go. Located within Karen Nairobi, the center holds a large number of these reptiles and you'll be able to see them in close range but safely. The center also has some tortoises. There's a huge pool of water where you can take a boat ride or try fishing with friends. They also keep some ostriches on the other side of the center. I highly recommende for a weekend getaway within the city. You can have picnic on site.

The place has plenty crocs. But they don't have any that you can hold in your hands. The feeding happens on mondays so plan a visit accordingly. There's a small enclosure for two types of tortoise. There's a lake where you can go boating and another enclosure for ostrich (only female). You can feed the ostrich leaves which the guide provides.
