We haven't stayed here, but had a good experience of the big green campus followed by boating in Lake Naivasa. The ambience is one of the best & the stay charge is heafty matching with the luxury. The boat was in good shape & we were charged 3500 for 30 min boat ride.

We spent an amazing time in this hotel! Really nice staff, excellent food, beautiful garden with animals in front of the rooms (hippos, waterbucks, zebras). The security guys took us around in the evening to watch the hippos grazing. Highly recommended!!!

Pros The rooms are really beautiful especially the premium they have a TV, mini bar safe, hot shower, iron box and board, extra glasses, coffee maker etc. Animals are roaming around the compound at a close range such as zebras And water Burks. They have two zebras Hippos come out at night best experience ever Great security. So many activities available such as swings boat ridding, swimming, spa, volley ball. Cons Notice I didn't mention food? Yes coz it was freaking cold. Cold meat cold potatoes cold tea, cold life. Good food but cold. They do barbecue as well so you can access limited hot meat. Apart from the food the hotel is a 5star for me

A beautiful place to spend some quality time with yourself and your loved ones.. I enjoyed myself during my stay there. Beautiful environment, wonderful staff and breathtaking moments with the hippos monkey's and giraffes. Thank you for my making my birthday on the 9/09/2023 special.

The grounds were beautiful and the staff amazing. We even got to see the hippos which we didn’t expect. We only stayed for 4 nights before travelling to Mombasa but would have loved to stay longer. Also, the food was great. ·

Excellent experience to stay here. The location is too good. One can enjoy watching animals from the room and while having food in a restaurant. Staff are very friendly . Need improve in washroom

Wow! What an experience Right on the lake Wildlife in the lovely gardens. Great food and lovely staff.

Incredibly over priced...poorly managed, with poor quality food and inane rules. It’s truly fallen into disrepair—the dock is closed, stale bread rolls are $5, a gin and tonic will cost you over $10 and the measurement of gin is miserly...I can see how this place was once a fun, good place to be, but the management is running this place into the ground...

The service was top notch. Restaurant was very nice and buffet meals were very delicious. Saw hippos and zebras there in the evening and monkeys in the morning. The entrance is a bit rough dirt road, but if you are on a safari you should be used to that. If you are looking to visit this area, this would be a great choice.

This was the first stop on our Kenyan safari. Our first sight of the zebras. Also hippos came very close to the lodge. We went on a boat ride and then on a nature walk to see giraffes from close

Other than location there's nothing to be said of this place. The rooms are worn down, the food was sub par and service was cold at it's best. But you have to give 5 stars for the location and the night visit by hippos.

Overall experience was excellent. We enjoyed the unique experience of sharing the space with wild animals seen outside our rooms along with wonderful service by Mr kamal (manager) and his friendly staff. Good food and services. Will visit again for sure.

Puts other resorts to shame. Running since 1940. Post 1900 Hrs, Hippos come to graze in the resort grounds. Surreal experience. Food quality, service, attention to detail would make others ,in similar industry, envious. Highly recommended.

The best location in Naivasha with animals coming all the way to the rooms, let down by the aging facilities and poor service. Your key must be be on you 24/7 or you be locked out, everything else is from the late 70s including the staff. Worst checkout experience ever.

I know this hotel for many years. The service is still excellent. Outside in the park the rising water level of the lake unfortunately has distroyed the trees and bushes of the shoreline. What a loss!!!

Hi, I was at the Naivasha resort on oct 20th and 21st 2023 and I hv to be honest I wld only come there due to the location. Your management of the hotel, the beds, no fan, torn towels, extremely dim bathroom light, no hand towels all of this is TERRIBLE. Your staff is awesome all the people working there are AMAZING. But your Indian manager is RUDE. Pompous. So many Indian clients are also very rude with your staff. Only an Indian owned resort and hotel wld hv such terrible management. "Provide minimum and charge for 5 star." Lol I wld not recommend it to anyone. Just for your location I wld come and you are totally aware of this hence you get away with least effort. Sorry but not sorry for my honest review. Hi, One more thing...I wish you are never able to build the extra cottages you wish to build on the edge of the lake. Cause that means you will block the access for the animals to graze on the lawn. Nope...the rising water level will never let you do that! Sincerely for the nature and the animals Monalisa

A wonderful place where you can escape from the hustle and bustle, relax, and take a boat ride. The food is delicious, the area is large. Hippos could be seen in the water, by the sound and by the head peeking out of the water

(Translated by Google) Fine. Large territory. No bath in room.  You cannot move without security. The free entrance to the lake is visible to hippos bathing and living on the lake. Food - all inclusive, but little meat Do not have time - eat potatoes.

The Country Club is located right by Lake Naivasha. It offers absolutely stunning views, a couple of them attached below. The hotel offers boat tours of the lake, you can see various different varieties of birds and hippos. The hotel itself is beautiful, large grounds where deer and zebra roam free, lush greenery. The rooms are beautiful cottages overlooking the lake. It offers buffet and a la carte and also has a bar.

Lake Naivasha Country Club, was once an Airport Terminal for Imperial Airways Flying Boat Service, that travelled the Durban - Kenya - London route, between 1924 and 1939. This Ramsar Convention Wetlands receives over 300 species of birds / waterfowls every year.

👍👍 Hands down the best chicken wings I have ever eaten. My partner and I were visiting some friends in the area and these heavenly wings (and a couple of sides of rice) were the only thing requested. The wings themselves had great flavor and AMAZING crunch. But really, I think the crispiness of the win...
