Absolutely beautiful gardens tucked away in Nandi. I recommend it for picnics and leisure walks. My only qualm is the lack of garbage bins and directions to the place.

Scene and ambience is fantastic. You'll need to carry your own food and drinking water, and picnic mat/table. Google maps may not be too sharp once you get within 7km- so be keen/ask for directions. The road is all murram after Mugundoi so some patches may be tricky/sticky with rains but we still managed well with a small vehicle.

I've been here twice now, the place is so very lovely it's so cool to just relax and chill out, makes for beautiful calendar shoots, the place has nice flowers so if your a birder or a photographer this is the place for you. I like it so much that I'm coming back in two weeks to camp here. Another thing is that these photos were all taken with and iPhone 6s

😍😍😍this place is pretty. It's surrounded by well pruned tea farms. The road is not tarmacked but it's passable. We paid 500 cash at the entry. The place is really adventures and I advise one visits the place with some comfortable shoes with plenty of time to explore the garden. Carry your own food and drinks there is non there. You can also carry fish food to feed the fish. 4 star because it's a bit far from the main road. Then Google maps misdirected us. I think the place can make a nice wedding venue though it would be a lot of work to plan and set up the place. The air is very clean and Serene. And quite plus you will definitely avoid gate crushers 🤣😝😏

It's a beautiful and well maintained garden in Nandi Hills. You can have a picnic etc there as it has different spots. They have a floating boat as well in case you wanna paddle around the pond. One thing to consider is it's quite a distance from the main road,so I advise you get a boda guy to direct you there. Go prepared down to having your own water and cutlery as they don't provide that there.

Kapsimotwa Gardens is a serene and secluded site located in the picturesque Nandi Hills, which are series of lush green rolling hills at the western edge of the Great Rift Valley.

One of the most beautiful places i have ever visited in Kenya!located in the heart of tea plantations in Nandi Hills the ambience is serene, clean spring water, protected plant species & fresh air this is a perfect picnic spot and a must visit!Don’t use google maps ask for directions from the locals.

Great place for a family picnic. A very serene and scenic spot, it boasts beautifully laid out grounds, and even has some resident Colobus monkeys. The main pond/dam is lightly stocked with tilapia and bass, though net fishing is not allowed. Catch and release rod fishing is generally not frowned upon. There is a crudely constructed 'party' house that has space for a couple of small tables and also comes with a barbecue grill.

Great scenary. Lonely though. No foods or drinks served so please cary some. Road not as great. Needs a raised vehicle . Would trouble sedans and rare wheel drive train.

A serene environment nested within tea plantations of Nandi. An ideal location for picnics. the scenery is beautiful this making it a good location for outdoor shoots. It's a tranquil environment and you can hear birds chirping as you helplessly gaze to the sun or play hide and seek with your loved ones as you carefully search for them over the expansive tree gardens then later on enjoy your snacks while experiencing the nature. They have a ground staff whom you can enquire while planning for your visit and also place prior arrangements with. It's definitely a place for anyone who loves outdoors should enavour to visit. From Eldoret you can take a matatu heading to nandi hills then pick a motorbike to the gardens.

Best out door get together place , found in the middle of the Nandi hills. With only 100 bob you can camp there all night and day cooking food of your choice . Alot of monkeys within the facility. Its cool and quiet. Great to take out a love one
