Very beautiful and peaceful place. The food was amazing! The interior and exterior design was well done. Very close to a shopping centre you could walk there. The area is also very secure and nice for morning/evening walks. The only downside was there is no balcony in the rooms. So it might feel a little small and cramped but otherwise it was amazing. 😊

Totally the Chef is the best. Totally outdone himself. Awesome recipes and a great personal touch to the food. The fish fillet is great . The parking is ample with an underground parking space. Awesome lighting and the floors are very well kept. Beverages of all variety. The coffee ☕ is among the best I have had in Nakuru City.

A good place spend your time with the loved one... Ample parking... Cool place and quite. Close to town... You can easily access the highway and the mall... Just close to it... This holiday you can spend timw with families here and sure you will enjoy. The pool is well maintained and very clean. Room services are on another level.... One big problem is the support team... The management should do something about them otherwise they gonna mess the business.

Hotel is good, however I didnt like having two small beds in a room I had booked as a single person. Additionally they don't have variety of food...just standard meal plan for 4 days I was there.. kinda boring

The food was amazing both in quality and variety, room was spacious, had excellent air conditioning, a very decent bathroom and great view of Statehouse. I only wish the spa is fixed and pray the hotel gets more space with an alfresco pub.

Great place to stay if you're travelling for business or a little pleasure in Nakuru. We were a group of friends. We stayed only one night BnB, and I loved it Very ideal for business trips or short layovers Overall 5⭐ Reception 5⭐- staff are kind and professional. This includes the security staff as well. Rooms 5⭐- we stayed in the standard rooms. Small but very cosy, squeaky clean, very very very soft bedsheets and pillow. Slept like a baby. I found out the pillows are from the UK. 🇬🇧. The toilets are clean and well-equipped. The rain shower was pleasant. Toiletries are adequate. Ask for garden facing rooms. Views are pleasant WIFi 4⭐ - I DONT USE HOTEL WIFI UNLESS ABROAD but was told is average. Breakfast 5⭐ I ordered room service. Please just look at the pictures that's all I can say A KINGS BREAKFAST 🍳. I love my eggs RUNNY. They have a restaurant but didn't try it. They also have good conferencing facilityes and loveky gardens ideal for a photo shoot Location is great just off the highway. Very near the CBD and amenities for shopping. I didn't use the pool or spa but I'm told they are good. Normal check out is 10am Courtesy extension is up to 11am I asked for late check out 1pm for 30% of room charge. I found this fair I have no faults for now. Keep it up Sarova🙌🏾 ill be back for sure.

This place is by far hands down the best I have visited. I am from the states and was a manager and evaluator at major hotel brands and none compares to this! The service was superb!!

Wasn’t the best stay. Did a walk in reservation. We were told the packages and I picked dinner and breakfast. I get to dinner and go to ask for mango juice that I could see behind the counter. They kept insisting on orange juice, & I was just confused because I had said I wanted mango. He then explained that I needed a package that included juice to get juice & my package didn’t have that. I explained when I checked in no one said anything about juice not being included. Why would I have an inclusive dinner and a drink need it’s own seperate package? Eventually I get the mango juice… I pay the bill, 500 shillings. The waiter then returns to tell me (after I pay) that I was not supposed to have mango juice and that my package was supposed to have no drink, he tells me that for me to have mango juice if I stayed an additional night that he’d need to talk to manager so that I could have that instead of the fresh orange juice. I don’t understand why I was given such a hard time over simple juice, juice that I paid for with my money. In a hotel I am staying in that I am supposed to get good service?? I chose Sarova above other hotels but decided not to stay an additional night after the stress over simple juice.

Rooms are clean , good well maintained grounds, food only average for a five star. Most dissapointed they serve packed processed juices not fresh juice. Ohh nooo not this day and age

Quiet and beautiful hotel . We had a very tasty molo lamb roast, veggies and brown Ugali for dinner. Hotel needs to up their wine list with variety

We were stayed for 4 nights and it was the worst stay just to put it mildly. We got stomach bug. I personally was sick for the whole duration l was there. The food was not fresh even the fruits. Being a 5 star hotel l expected more. Staff were nice. I would not recommend it to anyone. Sarova Woodland you can do better.

The food is delicious and the wait staff phenomenal. Entertainment in the room however horrible. Well if you have an iPhone. Couldn’t cast to the tv at all. Smart tv in the room but only has crappy YouTube and it won’t even connect. I’ll never stay here again. Oh and they only offer air antenna tv which is only 24 channels if they all come in (they don’t).

Beautiful hotel and loved the staff. However, corporate handling of my stay was unprofessional. Initially booked through Expedia, then added additional nights and paid for same. After paying for room to include breakfast I was charged for breakfast and then locked out of my room. I was then told to come downstairs to re-register and pay. This happened on two separate ocassions. In each instance I provided them with my American Express card to pay for any incidentals. On the morning after I checked out I was chased down by a front desk employee who claimed I left without paying for incidentals. This despite the hotel having my American Express card on file. I thereafter went back to the hotel and thought I had settled the matter. Within an hour of leaving I received a call from my sister in law who advised me that the hotel called her about an 1800 shilling amount they had failed to include on the final bill. This chain is in serious need of administrative overhaul since their hotels are operated like a third world motel rather than a five star hotel. They were not only unprofessional but also rude and arrogant. I would never stay there again. In sharp contrast, my stay at the Hilton Gardens near the airport was handled in a most professional manner.

Our 11 person group arrived at the hotel at midnight. The front desk reception was so very helpful and made our check-in an enjoyable experience. The restaurant had kept a late dinner for us that extremely delicious. All the various employee sections were so cordial and customer satisfaction oriented. From the Security on the gates, to the Bell Hops, Guest Services, House Keepers, the entire staff is first class!

Luxurious hotel in a quiet environment just off the main Nairobi- Nakuru highway. It's just a mile or 2 from the city. Very quiet. The rooms are very clean, modern, comfortable and quiet. The restaurant serves high quality meals, buffet style. We were served on a few days by Caroline who is warm, friendly, helpful and extremely customer focused. Safety and security is important here. It is gated and has security guards at the entrance.

The managers were very helpful n always smiling . Only the alacarte service was extremely slow. My burger n salad came after 45 min and my chips came after complaining for 3 times. By then we had finnished our burgers n salad. And the same at dinner time ,our indian food came first and our plates came after 20 mins by then our food was cold. Hope this is looked into very seriously please. We are Die hard fans of Sarova mombasa for 40 years now.

We had a brilliant time and were treated like Kings, all staff made us feel so welcome and could not do enough for us.

Fair warning: Sarova buffets are quite disappointing. No flavour, not delicious/well spiced, I thoroughly disliked the starter soup (literally just chicken pieces doused in water) and main course. However the salad was quite nice(orange slices x red cabbage) and dessert was equally fab (10/10 for the red velvet cake, went back for seconds🥰). Their fruits are juicy and well ripe, which is a plus. All in all, 4.5/10 for my experience here.

In my view, it is the best hotel in Nakuru and its surroundings. They paid attention to detail. The food is great, service is good too. The conference facilities are topnotch. The only downside is the size of their swimming pool. It is too small for such a big hotel. I highly recommend 👌

perfect location!!- close to the city centre and the park. The hotel decor is modern, stylish, beautiful with breathtaking views and has great amenities. Loved the flower portrait on the walls, the neat spacious rooms with comfy bed. The services from the butler who helped us with our luggage up the room, the super friendly staff and the delicious meals prepared. We had a great stay and would definitely stay here again.

Spent 1 night here on the way to visit Lake Nakuru. The location is located very conveniently along the main road, relatively quiet, 15 minutes away from the park entrance. The dinner we had as part of the stay offered a wide variety of options with tasty dessert options. The breakfast was filling with a good number of options again. We opted for a triple room which didn't leave a lot of extra space in the room. Bathroom and shower had good water pressure. Service was very friendly throughout.

The hospitality was awesome right from the gate. The staff are warm and welcoming. The food is finger licking. Most exceptionally was Chef Jairus. He is friendly and he attended to us professionally and the smile on his face helps to light up the day. The conference facility was great

The hotel’s relatively new and the spa is not yet available. The location is good - just away from the highway so it is easy to approach yet you won’t hear the traffic. The rooms are comfortable and the staff are very friendly. Christine at the reception is especially fantastic and has a super sense of humour. The food could be a little better but it was also perhaps because the hotel was fully occupied when we were there.

Check in was seamless and staff at the front desk was friendly. The place felt a bit outdated- carpeted floors all around, huge chandeliers. They have beautiful gardens outside. The breakfast menu was quite limited though, I struggled to find something to eat in their breakfast selection.

I had a very beautiful and memorable stay at Sarova Woodland. from the welcome to the great services we were offered. I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to Chef Jairus at the Courtyard Restaurant. He was highly professional and courteous in handling his responsibilities, demonstrating a warm and respectful demeanor towards guests. Additionally, I would like to express my gratitude to Humphrey, whose assistance throughout my stay was invaluable. I would definitely recommend Sarova Woodland Nakuru to my family and friends

Interesting find, enjoyed the stay, happen to stay in this hotel when the hotel was very busy. The staff were gracious and keen handling the many guests very well. Loved the thoughtful little things - masks, sanitizer kits. Stayed in a regular room and also in a suite Highly recommended this hotel to anyone travelling to or passing through Nakuru

This a great hotel in Nakuru. However, if you benchmark with their facility in Mombasa, (Whitesands) then you will have a problem. This is more of a business facility purely for people on official business. The food is great compared to anything else in the area. The accommodation is arguably great given your local options. However, if you have been to their facility in Mombasa you will be a little disappointed! Whitesands creates big expectations for the group of hotels. Woodlands feels a little boxed with no real grounds, limited buffet option compared to whitesands, and quality doesn't really match up. I love a balcony it helps me relax and wind down reading a book in fresh air alone in silence. They don't any! It wouldn't be an ideal place for a family with kids.....its best for business, a place to sleep over when travelling or in the even that you want some good food. Other than a swimming pool and an indoor pub, they don't have much more by way of recreational activities. A steam room sauna and gym would have been great in the cold weather. Admittedly Whitesands is in a different class! That we must accept but woodlands, has done a great job as well. The hotel is beautiful the room are spacious, clean and good, you enjoy the food and the staff are really great!

Valentine’s Day 2022: Poor service Air conditioning didn’t work and they did nothing about it for two nights, we slept in humidity. The mini fridge didn’t even work. Valentines dinner, the bubbly was weird, service even worse. Christmas decor was recycled. Very poor planning. It was an after thought to say the least. Disappointed!

I always have a hard time sleeping peacefully in hotel beds, but at Sarova woodlands I slept through the night. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean and cozy, the service top tier. The food was also so good I wish I could take some home with me. I would definitely love to come back here.

My family and I had a wonderful time at Sarova Woodlands, the team service is top notch! They were very helpful and willing to assist at all times. The food was amazing... from delivery to taste. The ambience to the serene...we felt at peace and at home we had a good time! Special thanks to the Manager Donald, the chef Nicholas, the waiting staff Teresia, Christopher, Meshack, Martha, Faith and the rest of the team. ASANTENI SANA we will definitely be back!

It's a Sarova but feels a slight cut below the other branches when it comes to food and service (except for leather bar). Still the best option around. Beds are comfy, rooms are quiet, the courtyard is cool.. if not a bit claustrophobic. Not much else to do here reallynso more of a business/short stay oriented hotel.

  • 5/5 Joseph W. 1 year ago on Google
As always a great destination for business stay, however, seemed to struggle a bit during the tea time catering this time round, as the hotel was hosting many guests doing conference concurrently. Could improve on this

  • 3/5 Donata M. 2 years ago on Google
Customer service is really good and welcoming. Location is also good but the buffet was very average and lacked the spice of a dining experience. dining area was also really quite, some slow musical tunes would help make the experience abit lively. Generally recommend

Their buffet is such a treat. Had a birthday dinner at Sarova, and we were not disappointed. Friendly staff, good food, strict Covid measures in place, and a great dining area. Their soup was the crème de la crème.

The place is okey. You should negotiate for a easier access when approaching from Nairobi. Pool is tiny

  • 4/5 Rach R. 1 year ago on Google
The location is ideal for different kinds of small meetings. The meeting rooms are well organized and well sealed from outside noise (I don't want to say they are sound proof once locked). There are varied snacks to choose from but limited food stuffs (or it it because there is drought in our country?) But food is delicious. The hotel is however not designed to handle big crowds and looks like it is prepared to handle tourists mostly. Be prepared to pay premium rates for service and food.

I had a great time here. Absolutely amazing service and servers which are happy and willing to assist. The hotel rooms are good and comfortable and come with everything you need to be at home. The food was lovely. I enjoyed everything I had. The Leather Bar is nice and inviting while still giving a cosy feel to it. It had a wide selection of wines and other drinks. The service was fast and efficient even though we were a large group. The bathrooms on 1st floor were disappointing though 😕. The motion sensored light goes off after 5 mins even if you are still in the bathroom and it is very difficult to get back on you have to go back outside. The taps too have a sensor problem or ran out of water during our stay. All in all it was an excellent experience
