Beautiful location. The hippos were grazing right next to the pier! The resort has some lush gardens and a beautiful view of Lake Naivasha. The service was great! Our food was really delicious! The bartender also did a great job with the cocktails! Only con was that the pool area always had loud booming music. Consideration may be given to toning down the music as guests are there for relaxation during the day. Alternatively, the music could be turned up at night - after dinner - until 10pm or midnight for people who’d like to enjoy some music. Overall- a great place!

The place is beautiful, clean and staffs are helpful. Excellent food, I was amazed eating excellent Indian food. You can see hippopotamus and birds during your stay.

The worst experience you can ever had. Please do not go to this hotel!!! But honestly, the worst, the staff. They supposely had some technical issues with our room (we never see anything) and they moved us to other rooms, which were so much lower quality than we had paid. We complained, and after moving us to another room (bed signficanly smaller) we decided to stay to avoid more confrontation. And the staff treated us like crazy people!! Honestly, the worst customer assistance and due to their problems, I have ever had. If you go, you won’t enjoy the experience as the staff won’t help you!! We never would recommend this hotel.

Hawa wako league yao bwana. I must commend whoever runs the kitchen. On my three day stay on an official assignment the place was packed with different groups but somehow the guys at the restaurant/kitchen smoothly handled their business. The staff are all friendly, great ambiance. I have no words for this place. Felt like home. Can't wait to be back God willing.

Huge place for conferences and events and they can comfortably handle that too. Parking can be a problem even with the huge space rhey have but it was nver quite full. The meals are tasty. The pool is clean snd dandy, they are super organised, the meeting rooms are clean and in plenty. What more would you want..really?

Busy place with very very many meetings. Looks good! The facility is clean, well maintained and great for business meetings

Lake Naivasha Resort is not a good place to stay. They use very strong artificial air fresheners, room sprays. Even in the bedrooms. I hated it. Our bathtub was old and rusty, gowns were so old and uncomfortable. Food was average. We were charged for extra things while checking out, costs we were not aware of initially. Such a bad place!

Just checked out today , the place is breathtaking. Staffs at acacia are wonderful , the supervisors at acacia are also very nice especially the 2 gentlemen I forgot to get their names. But wait rmk , the dinning area near the gate, worst place to be. We went there to have lunch thrice we were treated like we do not belong. They pay attention to the people coming there for meetings and forget that we also paid to be there. On Tuesday we went there for lunch there was this black lady in a black suit I think she was a supervisor weee sema kutujudge by just looking at us!!! Our baby was fussy was trying to calm her down. The lady walked to me an asked are you here for lunch ?? What room number!!? In a tone that could definitely tell am gate crushing . After I told her the room number she went ahead to confirm it’s true I can afford a room and a lunch with them from another guy standing at the entrance. Today we asked for a baby chair and a drink during lunch time no body cared to offer that until we had to ask for the head supervisor. The lady supervisor in black suit for today had a bad attitude it’s like we are not supposed to ask for a drink. We are definitely never coming back.

I was here for a meeting. Very clean and quiet meeting rooms. The staff are proffesional and friendly. You have to keep reminding yourself that you are in Naivash and not Cape Town.

Beautiful resort. Didn't stay there. Only came for the lunch by the lake to eat and view the cute hippos. As spent the afternoon at the pool with drinks and ended the day with a massage. Beautiful hotel. To lunch buffet was delicious and very reasonably priced. Especially for non hotel guest. Really enjoyed my time there. The pool was really nice and fun. And the massage was great and excellent service

Loved the Pier Experience. Got to chill with hippos and got some pretty wild polaroids...

A huge hotel focusing on conferencing. Rooms are clean and adequate with nice hot showers. Food is good with generous portions. Staff are responsive and pleasant. Check out takes a little longer than it should so be patient. Awesome views of the lake from the terrace especially at breakfast. Available TV channels in the rooms not available consistently.

Beautiful hotel, great view of the lake. Mostly friendly and kind staff, except the Maître d’ at the dinning area, truly terrible service. Their cart pick up system needs to be reviewed for their needs but excellent effort. The food was always fresh and they have a great selection of food, kudos to the Chef! The rooms were quite clean, sheets sometimes came back damp but the Christmas season was probably overwhelming, hot showers available through out the day.

Great ambience and food. We came to have lunch and the kids and family had a great time. There was a miscommunication between the teams which ended up in charging us more, but the F&B manager on duty was supportive enough to correct the mistake and reimburse. Recommend the place for anyone!

Great lakeside views. The rooms are okay. The energy though was off. There's the vibe you get from happy staff who appreciate you for being there. Didn't get it. The air felt like they were doing me a favor. My worst hotel experience so far.😡

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the resort. The idea of the golf carts ferrying guests to and from rooms is something other hotels should emulate🎯💯. Food was fresh, delicious plenty, and served promptly. The view of the lake is simply beautiful 😍. There's a bench at the end of the pathway to the lake, where you can sit in the morning or evening and appreciate nature. I'd definitely recommend 👌🏾

I was here for a whole weekend, My stay was quite pleasant, I really needed that. First, when you go through the gate, you feel like all your problems have been left behind because of the fresh air and the views!!! Wow!! Pure therapy! It sits on so many acres of land so be sure you’ll get space literally everywhere. Beautiful serene, very quiet and peaceful. It took us hours to check in since the rooms were fully booked and we had to wait for people to check out. We used that time to go around, I saw hippos and that was my highlight of the day. Then went swimming which was so exciting. They have 3 pools. Baby pool, a shallow one for people like me, and a very deep one. Their buffet is top! Literally everything I ate was just amazing. And what’s even better is that it’s affordable for those who are having just lunch or dinner. Their services ain’t bad but ain’t all that either. There is a lady at the reception who is so polite and annoying at the same time, she can easily get into your nerves . It’s like she has been coned because she treats everyone like a suspect, which is fine by me😂 Their rooms surprised me because I was expecting class. How the rooms look on the outside not the same inside . They are so basic. But at least they take you there in style. They have these limousine like golf carts to take you. I heard they have new rooms so I guess those ones are better. They have very good conference halls and good grounds for weddings and team building activities. I noticed they have the team building activities on Friday, so most Fridays when they’re fully booked. All in all I enjoyed my stay, I will go back but hopefully to the new and improved rooms

By far the best hotel in Naivasha interms of conference facilities, they invested in state of the art facilities for supporting all kinds of conferences. The hotel is located in the serene area of Moi South Lake Naivasha. They also have world-class apartments and restaurants, and they will give you a great tourism experience of Naivasha. You can enjoy boat riding and bike riding amongst other activities around. The hotel is also very secure with rigorous checks at the game, and there's ample parking space available. While around you'll enjoy nature in a relaxing, peaceful environment.

Attended a team building event here and the experience was wonderful. Service slacked substantially a number of times but overall, highly recommended

We asked about the boat arrangement for the crescent island, which was how we joined the Lake Naivasha Resort. They have a super luxury facility, including the high tech massage machine around the beauty salon inside and the mission with their team sounded promising, which was really a jackpot. They are still expanding the land before the lake water, and the only ones there who could make whatever's about to happen worthwhile, with full of hospitality. If you visited this in Naivasha at first, that would royally strike gold to you.

Went there for training, although it was non-residential so l wasn't spending there but we were having our snacks and lunch there and the food is amazing and the service is even better. Good job LNR 👏

I had very bad experience at Lake Naivasha Resort. There was no running water during my stay (20-23 April, 2022) and staff did not know what to do. There was even no apology from management for the inconvenience.

Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort has the most beautiful view I've seen in South lake hotels,it's so spacious which makes a nature trail so impressive. Most artistic designed lodges I've come across with a magnificent view of the lake, giraffes, waterbucks and zebra on its grassland .I had an amazing experience.

Classic with wonderful service and meals. Clean and serene. Good place for holiday and leisure especially with family. However, you need a good budget to afford it.

if you want to stay in a really bad hotel come to this one. Broken windows, broken floors, cracked mosquito nets.... and if you protest it's even worse because they catch you mana. Better to leave.A pity, because the surroundings are very nice and both the guides and the people are great.

Excellent hotel experience for business and leisure travellers. Very good conferencing facilities but they must replace their projectors.

Picturesque in it's essence and ideal for a family getaway, corporate retreat or random stay. The menu is impressive and boasts a variety of cuisines. The only reason I give it a 4 out of 5 is that it needs a bit of sprucing up in the accommodation department, with some minor repairs seeming long overdue. All in all, a glorious lakeside resort!

Lake Naivasha resort is a good hotel especially for those seeking a conference center. The hotel is located near the moi south lake road and easy to locate , has a well organized team and hardworking team. However, their rooms are not as spacious as such.

The best hotel along Moi South Lake. The food, the accommodation, the conference, the Gym & Spa, the outstanding swimming pool, and boat rides; complement the beauty and ambience of this hotel. You can't miss a visit at this hotel, and you must reserve with a booking because of the high demand.

The staffs here are cool and friendly💯...In terms of comfort,,,the breeze at the shores of Lake Naivasha are cool and welcoming 😍. Entertainment is also fine... And of course..RMK ... unexplainable 🎉 Hygiene is highly observed.

I had an owesome experience for the one week spent there. The hotel has excellent conferencing services with high quality and decent meals. However, towards the end of the conference, they tend give limited resources on the conferencng materials. The Hippos around are a joy to watch.

About 4kms from Naivasha town and located along the shores of Lake Naivasha. Great conference facilities, courteous and professional staff. good food. The rooms abit smaller but well finished.

Beautiful place. Loving the service and more importantly the lake view.

  • 5/5 Richard B. 1 year ago on Google
Great place for conference and local tourism. Probably the best place to see hippos because they are guaranteed to be feeding there over lunch hour. Great customer service and facilities. The food could use some improvement.

This is for those who seek outdoor recreation to lake-view cocktails; swimming to sunbathing, casual dining to waterfront entertainment, a perfect place to rest, play, and make new memories of a lifetime. The Lake Naivasha Resort is a great escape located on Moi South Lake Road just steps off the beautiful Lake Naivasha, Kenya. It boasts lush gardens with a state-of-the-art conferencing facility, luxurious cottages, dinning options, swimming, fitness, spa, boating, bird watching and an unmatched concierge service.
