Good security and very polite. Exceptional service and good customer service at the reception. Good restaurant offering wide range of food and delicious meals. The hotel offers game room's, outdoor activities, accommodation, conference facilities, boat rides, cycling activities among other services. Staff are very friendly and the entire hotel is very clean. Highly recommended for family, solo or business travels. Sure will be back again

Simply stunning! I can't wait to go back and spend an entire weekend. I loved how huge and beautiful the property is. The most outstanding structure has to be the restaurant that overlooks a man made fountain and a lush green manicured lawn that's great for kids to run around! Oh...and the swimming! Oh my! So clean and clear...I loved that the deep end was only 6ft deep and has a platform immersed in the water that one could laze around on.. It was a bit cold though. Word of advice if you're not too keen on walking for miles and miles to your room( the property is quite large) ask for a room closer to the restaurant. Lastly the hotel lacks a beach

Well manicured gardens. Very friendly staff, when I asked for the conference room,someone took me personally instead of pointing it out. They would still have done so as the place was not difficult to find. The food is very tasty and the surroundings and gardens well done and the internal decor is tastefully done

Excellent facilities and the service is really reactive. Tons of activities to get involved in within the hotel. Buffet meals were fresh and excellent. Got a hot water bottle for the cold nights which really made a difference. The lawns and landscape were beautiful Well worth the rest

Excellent tourist location. I enjoyed every minute here from the customer service responsiveness to the exquisite delicious cuisines, the landscaping, beautiful environment, and animals especially giraffes and hippopotamus. I loved it here even though it was a little cold for me. If you are coming here, just bring lots of cash and winter jacket and you will be fine.

One of the best facilities for seminars,vacationers and team building,very big quiet compound ,good staff members.... though a distance from Naivasha town and from main South lake road.

The food is delicious and super fresh, the gym is state of the art, the pool is cold 🥶 but very clean ..the rooms are super cosy with beautiful was lights, the outdoor Gardena are just breath taking, nature walk with a guide was quite something I enjoyed . Nice cosy place for smaller (5-30 persons) meetings. Great dining experience. Slightly higher rates than similar facilities along Moi South Lake Road, Naivasha.

Went for dinner here and it was great. Didn’t spend the night as it was full but the ambience and tour I got convinced me that I’ll come for a family weekend next year.

Excellent reception, top-notch rooms: very clean and hygienic, a great variety of local in-season food/drinks and top-notch service. All equipment and buildings are very well maintained. Awesome landscape design, an ecologically superior experience. The climate is chilly and might take getting used to even though the hotel provides hot water bottles and/or extra blankets on request. Cold floors. Lacks direct access to Lake Naivasha.

The FOOOD!!! Unbelievably good. Well cooked I didn’t get not one stomach upset. I was there for 4 days each day had its own variety. Absolutely wonderful. & best of all it’s self service like you literally take the spoon & serve yourself. The rooms were also real descent and very spacious

Sawela is an amazing place to have a staycation. The check in process was so smooth and fast. Lots of space to seat and hangout. They offer variety of food - nothing special about it. The rooms are spacious, clean and well maintained (The features aren't modern). The parking is secure with 24 hour surveillance so nothing to worry.

Spent four amazing days. I was busy because it wasn't an holiday but slept there due to work symposium. Loved and enjoyed my stay there. Environment meaning its nature, and the all design of the buildings, and the structures was amazing, and full of art , and free imagination. Food was amazing and the service offered by the employees was what I can call commitment. All the credit to the employees 🙌

Great Family time Visited this facility with family twice already this year and the kids love the place ! Overall , I had a great experience! Good customer service , great ambience, tasty food ! The executive suite is really nice with spacious washroom! Great for family trips ! The furniture kind of congests the room a bit but manageable. The kids play area needs a bit of attention and perhaps a dedicated person there to steward the kids whiles they play! Looking forward to my next trip !

Extremely beautiful hotel ,huge garden ,great buffet for lunch ..hundreds of dishes ,fruits , salads ,tea ,coffee etc very hard working staff, room and hotel ingeneral very clean...beautiful African decor around the hotel...an open fire place just outside the restaurant so as to enjoy the cold winter wind blowing around the place....fully equipped gym available for hotel guest..

The hotel has one of the conference services in not only in Naivasha but all over the country. There customer service is on another level. They also have a variety of dishes to choose from both for national and international clients. It is strategically located aways from the disturbances from the town

The place was fully booked by an Indian religious group, so accommodation was out of the question and the restaurant was closed off, but the pool area was still open to the public and you could order food from there. We felt a bit discriminated against however as the staff asked us to move tables multiple times because we ordered non-vegetarian meals whose smell would apparently irritate the Indian guests (we couldn't see any at the pool area). And they waited till the food was almost ready to tell us we need to move. Anyway, we calmed down a bit after talking to the supervisor, but we changed our order to take-out. Next time just close off the entire hotel, because we're definitely not coming back after that experience.

Its a nice get away location for the weekend. Great & clean rooms. Great view and very serene. The drinks are pricey though. The food was great esp the ladyfinger and mushroom dishes served at the buffet. Went to an outside club though for the night.

Nice rooms, activities and very good variety of food for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Had a situation with a rat chewing a drawer though sorted immediately we reported and noisy next door room guests. Their service was overwhelmed over the holidays as they were fully booked and the checkout - 10am and checkin - 2.30pm a bit frustrating.

I stopped there for lunch and swimming services. I gave their service 4 stars because it took a few minutes for the waiter to come to our table. Patience is a virtue that I'm yet to learn🤦‍♀️ The ambience was generally great! Great place for family & friends' vacations. Their pool was amazing. I had roast chicken + fries (their fries were good, I've had better chicken), and an apple + carrot smoothie, which I loved, for lunch.

Came here as a stopover on a trip. Very relaxed atmosphere. Beautiful surroundings and a very luxurious setting. We had snacks and a cold drink which were well presented, although we waited quite a long time. Staff are friendly and attentive.

Cleanliness is the main issue , pool looks like a soup , bathroom is dirty , the place itself is really nice.

Sawela offers a serene escape from the city's buzz, the food was awesome and the service was excellent. Travelled during the pandemic and the Covid-19 precautions set in place to safeguard us are top-notch.
