Hotel la grande is just located in a junction towards wandegeya , sir Apollo kaggwa road and bombo road.. it's security is great just from outside to inside.. parking is good enough though not for a huge gathering or busy day... Kind of limited... Services are great... Especially those who want swimming..the pool is cream. And the space for chilling outside is a bit small due to the limited space.. but you can give it a try, and get yourself a new experience.

This hotel is just strategically located in that any person that uses northern bypass road to connect to areas like Kampala, Entebbe, Jinja, Masaka among others can access it. It's like l have been seeing and visiting it from my infantry to date. It's just awesome. A home away from home though it's next to my home😂

It's a good place inside, I loved the setup everything inside, for those who are thinking of surprise happy birthdays this would be one of good places for you , they can help organize got you, with some good special music

It has a great view of the Capital city and also great accomodation services together with leisure and I would highly recommend it. The environment is stable and quiet for a person looking for personal space and to work on his or her mental health.

I have visited Hotel La Grande several times and mostly i go there for swimming i love there swimming pool, it is big enough for a good workout and having some fun so if you love swimming just like me and you're near Kampala Hotel La Grande is the place for you. However there swimming price is 20, 000 ugandan shillings you should know that before you go. About there rooms i have no idea i have never used them but i hope one day i will and i think they're nice that's why i have given them 5 stars, and the place is near the city plus there are more exciting places around the Hotel area. Lastly there services are not bad everytime am there i receive go services from people who work there.

It seems to be one of the better hotels of Kampala. But still, there is room for improvement. 1. At the entrance the security guard asks everyone to open their bags. I had a backpack, it was easy for me. But I just imagine what it is like for people who have a suitcase, when your stuff is tightly packed, and you have to open the suitcase, then repack and close it again. They don't even have a proper inspection table. It would have been much more practical if they had put an X-ray machine. 2. I visited the restaurant. The waiter was clearly well-trained, tried his best to sell as much as possible and gave good service. Just, he misinformed me about payment methods: I asked if they accepted MTN MoMo Pay, and he said they did. When I started the procedure, he said they didn't and that I could send money to a personal MTN number and include the withdrawal charge. 3. The tea was made with tap water. It tasted bad. If I were a chef, I would only cook on bottled water. 4. The fee at the swimming pool depends on your gender: for men it's 20k, for women it's 15k on weekdays and 20k on weekends. Strange!

Had a meeting for 3days and the time I had there was amazing. My room was beautiful (103) plus the staff were so helpful and food was ok too .

It's a well organised contemporary place. The noisy school kids taking swimming lessons there tainted my rather good experience there.

On "big days", those going to the restaurant "are also expected" to pay for the shows that they are not going to attend outside the restaurant. That was annoying and thus it spoiled my experience.

Fair. We had a graduation at the rooftop,their customer care is so terrible. First we called to book but they didn't tell us details,then during the party you talk to the waiter and make an order then they act like you didn't say a thing and bring the food late.

don't stay here.. had to call and request toilet paper and soap to bathe with.. REALLY?? CMON!! then the receptionist is barely helpful. There were mosquitoes in the room too. TV remote wasn't working. I don't know if Uganda's operate this place or what.. but will be the last time I lodge here bedsheets are filthy with hairs! YUUK

Hotel La Grandé gives all odds to none of being an extraordinary place. This place has a nice view, ontop having a great swimming pool and also conducive place for family gathering with all food and accommodation

Music for dj ronnie dpro is missing in that place like it used to be before lockdown that guy knows how to play good music
