We managed to see 6 rhinos in 20 mins. 2 families. One eating and the other family resting. Started with a brief that includes safety briefing and history of the sanctuary. Then a little drive and then tracking for most of the times. Tracking involves looking for rhino footprints, direction of the grass to show directions taken, muddy trees and more. There are game rangers 247 keeping them safe. Was a great experience.

Having been here multiple times, I can surely say that the efforts to re introduce the White Rhinos are paying off. With now 33 in number I see the future so bright. The efforts to protect these animals grow everyday and we love it. I can totally recommend everyone to visit this place.

Great accommodation in the middle of the rhino’s living area. Could see some rhinos at night next to our little house. Friendly staff and the best tour to see animals in Uganda yet. Recommendation!!

Unbelievable experience of being close to rhinos while on foot. Never felt in danger thanks to the knowledge of the guides and observers. An experience never to forget.

We had a lovely time at the Lodge. Managed to get the last tour of the day to see the rhinos in the reserve. Accommodations were simple but effective. Dinner and breakfast were simple but tasty, and plentiful

This is an amazing place. Go for Rhino Tracking in the afternoon, the Shoebill Tracking in the morning and don't skip the night walk! The rooms are simple, but clean and comfortable. Food at the restaurant is very good.

Decent accommodation, but a bit expensive for what it is ($80 per night). Activities on offer are also very expensive for what they are. Advantages: - Our room and bathroom were very clean. - The staff from the lodge's restaurant were kind and helpful. Disadvantages: - Contrary to what the website of the lodge says, there was no WiFi or hot water when we stayed there. The lady at the front desk apologized for this but didn't make any commercial gesture to make it up for it. - We signed up for two treks (one to see the rhinos, one to see the shoebills) and yet, we ended up driving - with our own car and fuel - more than walking (more than 30 km of driving in the case of the shoebill trek), under the guidance of a ranger who was very patronizing (was it because my friend and I are two young women?), who wanted to keep the animal-seeing as short as possible, and who explicitly and awkwardly asked us to tip the trackers he works with, in addition to what we had already paid at the lodge for the treks. This was the most disappointing part...

Very nice place with mostly Rhinos as the main animal there. We were told they have over 50 of them but luckily enough we saw some other animals like the Wathog, monkeys in plenty, different bird species and johnson bucks. They have informed game rangers who took us through everything we asked and we felt contented.

Very well positioned in the middle of the rhino park. The restaurant is in the middle of a beautiful opening and the atmosphere is heavenly. We were a bit disappointed by the bedroom, which was small and dark.

The work they have done is outstanding đź‘Ź . Saw white rhino close. Food ad drink on site. Toilets very clean. Take local money for tips.

Beautifull place to camp, when we woke up we saw multiple rhinos within 30 meters. Happily with a solid fence around the campsite.

Nice professional run park with everything you need. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, comfy clean rooms with great beds and modern clean bathrooms. Restaurant had great meals and you can sit and watch the rhino's walk into the compound at night to stay warm! Saw rhinos everywhere, they obviously love it in the park.

Really fantastic experience. The UWA guides are so knowledgeable (thank you to James who was so passionate and fantastic guide, really made the experience so special) - the safaris are on foot and we got within 8-10 metres of several rhinos, really breathtaking. The lodge is basic but really lovely, the staff are so kind and the food was really nice. Would totally recommend making this a part of your trip in Uganda!

This place is nice but very highly priced for foreign tourists. It isn’t value for money. The guide takes you to a point in the jungle and you walk a few minutes to see a bunch of rhinos in the shade. The heat makes it impossible for you to continue. And then you come back. I was lucky to spot 12 of 37 black rhinos there.

The location of the rooms in the middle of the park was great. When we opened the door in the morning the rhinos were there standing in the front! Nice place to learn about Rhinos conservation and its challenges, we enjoyed it!

Loved out time here. We got much closer to the rhinos than I though we would. Our guide was knowledgeable and professional.

We had the best time today at the ziwa rhino sanctuary, we had a guide called Silver the first thing you notice about him is his calmness then when he starts talking🤔 man he has the best voice. Another thing he is so knowledgeable he answers all the questions with patience and calmness, then we saw the rhinos wauw they are very beautiful creatures to look at. We had the best time today visit and you will not regret your decision.
