Very beautiful place. Friendly management and staff. The rooms are amazing as well. Can’t get such an affordable hotel with such good ambiance. Will most definitely come back to south coast specifically Diani hostels with my friends and family and stay longer this having been a short stay. Keep it up Diani Hostels. Very happy.

A bit far from the beach but still have a humongous room for improvement. I liked the pool but you can use a bit of training to your staff. But all the same, it is a chilled out place. I would love to come back.

I was in that hostel in July, I found a very dirty, old, run down and broken place. I'll tell you what is broken there. Doors, beds, pots and plates, showers, faucets, sofa. The private rooms have shower and WC next to the bed, bedrooms smell not good and in the showers there are a lot of cockroaches. The pool water is always dirty and the sheets are old, broken and dirty.I had to clean my bedroom by myself many times. The photos are not real it looks very nice on internet but everything's fake. I won't reccomend it for sure, that was my first and last time in that "place"

This place was a really special find. The atmosphere is like being at a friends home. The staff is great, the pool is well designed. All the details of design are great. It feels like you're in nature but has the conveniences of a nice guesthouse. It's about a 15-20 minute walk to the beaches. The food offered is also very delicious.

A lovely little spot slightly far away from the Diani beach and the main road but that much cheaper and friendly.

It's fine one. Cheaper option in Diani. Have a nice pool, staff is friendly, little bit far from beach but you can have nice walk to reach at the beach. Food is little bit expensive, they need to make it affordable, other everything is ok

The place was super dirty and run down. The pool was really gross too. This is not professionally run. The beach is a 20 minute walk down a hot road with no shade. You definitely get what you pay for, and it’s now worth it. We were attracted by the low price and colorful pictures online. Unfortunately Diani hostel seems like a knock off business which often pop up in developing countries. Diani Backpackers is much closer to the beach and a significantly better option than Diani hostel.

(Translated by Google) The beds had no blankets and were not cleaned, there were ants in the food, there were holes in the mosquito nets, clothes disappeared when you had them washed and there were not enough beds for how many people we had booked. Horrible. Vreselijk.

The hostel is okay and affordable for a place like Diani. It's abit clean although there are big cockroaches in the rooms. You also have to push the staff to clean for you the room while there. The location is okay as well. However the staff are sluggish and don't have teamwork and this affects their services. At some point we felt they didn't want to serve us. They promised to drop us with a tuktuk on our last day but the driver seemed unwilling and disappeared and no one was concerned. There was no one to report to

The hostels are really convenient, cheap and affordable. The staff here especially Dominic are very helpful and always there to help. I arrived very early in the morning, tired but the were very recipients and welcoming. In addition to the good services, the hostels are clean and we'll aerated. Also, the pool is very clean, there is a bar with a variety of drinks both local and international. the roommates were respectful and good to talk to Whether traveling for work or leisure, Diani hostels is the place to be. It is near the beach and food from mama mboga very fresh and tasty. Also it is very cheap and secure. I was a happy guest .

Nice private location. To the contrary of what others said WiFi works just fine just not where the pool tables are. Did not notice any cockroaches either as someone previous stated. Nice friendly staff and the beach isn’t to far of a walk. For the price you can’t beat. Will definitely be coming back often while I’m here in Kenya.

Silent, green, nice pool and friendly people. Unfortunately they don't allow anymore to swim in the pool in the night, that made the place for me before more special. Don't know the reason for that change. Still a good place.

I stayed at this hostel for 2 weeks and it was an amazing experience. I'm a solo traveler, and the price is incredibly reasonable compared to other similar accommodations. The pool was nice and the showers were hot. The staff was always very friendly as well, and made me feel welcome! I had a great stay and will definitely return when I come back to Diani. Thanks so much!

I loved the pool it was very clean. I got a free upgrade on my room. The staff were really motherly and welcoming ( Jane and Damaris). The environment was serene and relaxed. Quite for a nice retreat for a well deserved vacation. I can definitely go back there a million times

Nice peaceful and clean place. Privates by the pool look very comfortable. Wifi works. It is a bit far from the main road.

I had a really good time at Diani Hostel for the 2 days I was there. The hosts are fantastic, quite responsive and caring making the environment so homely. The rooms are clean and well taken care of. Thanks a lot John, mama Jane and Kimani, I'll definitely be back!

The staff are so friendly and welcoming 😍. The place is quiet and we had a peaceful stay there. The place offers breakfast (which you pay for separately) no lunch or dinner. Also the swimming pool looked scary (for me) but one would totally enjoy their swim there. Apart from a broken shower that we experienced at first which later got to be fixed, our stay was so good and confortably relaxing.

Did a 3-day stay here? I have mixed emotions about visiting again. Here are my thoughts. Pros: 1. The attendants are very friendly. Loved them. 2. The food is cooked on demand. Tasty and not so pricy. 3. The room pricing is quite good. 1000Kes for a single dorm bed, 2000kes for double private room. 4. It's Kids friendly. Cons: 1. The facilities are run down. 2. Could use some locker rooms for personal items one would not want to lose. 3. The WiFi connection is very bad. After all, travelling on a budget, it's ideal.

(Translated by Google) Deceptive photos and information! Way overpriced for what it really is. The hostel is well beyond 15 minutes walk from the beach (almost 1h counted under the sun), of spent bed linen, bath linen doubtful, toilet / shower impractical ... The good thing is the pool !

Small and cheapest place around. 6$ a night in dorms. It's cheap, a bit filthy like swimming pool with water not so clear and common bathroom and toilets quite disgusting. But yeah, it's cheap. It's more like living with the Tanzanian family who takes care of the property. With TV often on some Tanzanian soap and they sleep in the dorms like us tourist. Little pool table and dart playing in common areas. You may find a unbroken bike among the free bikes. This is a very very good point. I stayed there 2 weeks and I was happy. 1,2km from the beach.

A super helpful and friendly staff. Had a lovely stay....just had to endure a bit of disturbance from the neighboring village; small price to pay though. Better factor in the cost of transport from the hostel to the beach and shopping centre as it's a bit far, although the hostel has scheduled free tuktuk rides to the beach twice a day. Would recommend hiring a bicycle or motor cycle for the duration of the trip. Makes moving around so much easier and affordable.

Stayed here for a week with my friends and from the first day this place felt like home . It has a friendly homely feel from the interior decor in the rooms , the friendly approchable staff , clean rooms but the best was chef Nicholas and his son who's food accepted us with all our flaws and made us reborn . Yuuuuum can almost taste the chicken curry . I'd recommend this haven again and again for it's homely feel , helpful staff and amazing food .it's yeeeeees from me?

This place is price friendly. Also, you get what you pay for. I did not like my stay here but I can't complain. I was not received properly at the place which really put me off. I almost cancelled my stay there but the beach made up for the not so good reception. Also, the room was never cleaned, no change of sheets or towels. It is a good facility but a lot needs to be done by the management
