It is a lovely place

It look quite the place to wine and dine but that was far from it. We had our orders mixed up and even worse the food was cold...very cold the thought of eating cold meat not the best. The portions are generous though and their juices and desserts are something I would go back for.

It's located on riverside drive inside dusitD2 .The service is very nice the waiters are very friendly and make sure that one is comfortable and having a great time .we had to choses for the starter the lobster rovile and butternut and banana soup the soup was nice but am not to sure about the lobster plus the potions were little. The mean meal was the chicken breast didn't have any breath taking taste was very basic but the sweetpototes was really good ,The beef of mount Kenya wasn't so good most of it was just fat no and the potions of the mean meal was very little .The wine was really great .I loved their dessert the crepe of rift valley was really great but again very some potions.The cholocate cake was sadly a big disappointment instead of cake they gave us cholocate and caramel,but the place is nice.

Beautiful and intimate restaurant

Ambiance is good. The meals are very good but the beef steak i had was just too small. The service waiters should learn to smile and look friendly. Prices a bit steep, not for the average Kenyan.

Lovely service. Their wraps are out of this world. Suited for Lunch meetings and Business dinners. Take away service can however be slow as they handle quite a number of orders within the office blocks surrounding them so you have to be patient but they always deliver.

Great restaurant. The food is to die for

I had an excellent experience at this delightful restaurant. Its name is appropriate as it is tucked away in the newly developed Riverside Office Park of Nairobi without giving you the feeling you are in a stuffy office environment. Excellent bistro style menu with a tasty selection of poultry and meat dishes. The patio overlooking a tropical garden has charming ambiance. The staff were extremely attentive. The chef made a noticeable effort on my steak and seasonal vegetables - fresh, succulent with a sense of artistry. The Secret Garden is certainly worth visiting for the discerning dinner looking for a meal that's tastefully done at a reasonable price.

A nice restaurant serving food but not high end food just normal food, their service is not of many people and a bit of a small place indoor and outdoor area limited in places to sit at, I ate stake there and it wasn't great I wish they did better their dessert wasn't as nice either they should do better with that too but all in all if you just want to eat go there but if you want food worth every penny elsewhere may be better unless they have changed from my experience in 2018

They have an awesome band, the cuisine is really good. I got to sample the juice cocktails and they are heavenly! The waiters were very friendly too!

Food was great but service was very slow.

This was probably the worst restaurant experience I have ever had. Intending to order a pasta dish but being told they had no parmesan, I ordered the so-called vegetarian burger. This culinary delight consisted of a spoonful of lukewarm mashed potato with a few bits of diced tomato inside a white bun and served with chips. Lovely! The waitress bless her seemed nonplussed at my lack of appreciation, and the 'chef' declined to see me to discuss the matter but I was told he would try to improve for the future . If you value your digestion, your money and your sanity, I would advise you to give this establishment a very wide berth!

Secret Garden Cafe is a strategically positioned restaurant serving the DusitD2 community. It provides an internal and terrace dining area, and has a continental menu. It is a great restaurant to take friends and family to given its privacy.

Perfect name for the restaurant. It's a hidden gem that's ideal for lunch or dinner with both indoors and outdoor seating space. The wine selection is good and the waiters are friendly and willing to help. Incase you are a big group planning to have a meal,it's advisable to make a reservation as at times they get fully booked. The food was great loved the desserts especially.
