Namataba is just a town council under Mukono District. It is a place for quarry work and the geographical view of the place is hilly. The place is cool however some times is a little bit hot It has a recreation centre called LEXUS RESORT of which is nice and conducive for refreshments It also has club where artists can come and expose themselves through music. The place is also always busy and small businesses takes place. The cost of living in this area is relatively not very expensive and is affordable for everyone.

Namataba has a beautiful green hilly landscape with a variety of trees. The weather can better a person's health. Only the roads are still lacking..

Down valley needs immediate attention! Water can take you dueing rainy season.

I went to minister at a home fellowship. Great people. The area felt safe and secure.

The town is small but is developing. There is a Chinese sponsored university that focuses on sciences and on the other side on the riload there's a big nursing school . The whole area is generally filled with student rental hostels due to the said schools. The town is on the Jinja highway which is quite busy as it is the main highway to and from Kenya. There's a roadside butcher who sells tasty unspiced goat meat affordably.
