We spent two nights at the Anib Lodge and took part in the annual game count. We had one of the comfort rooms which are set a little apart. They are quite small but well appointed and we really enjoyed the very private outside sitting area. Very comfortable beds and immaculate linen and towels. The lodge is large and gets noise when busy, but it is well laid out with many different areas to sit and enjoy the outdoors, and there are two pools. The garden is lovely and we enjoyed the cats prowling. The best feature of the lodge though is the friendly staff. Nothing is too much trouble and there is always a smile to be had. The park is breath-takingly beautiful with the sandy dunes all covered in grass right now, so the game drives are always spectacular. Plus there is lots to do around the lodge for the more active visitors. Last but not least at all, the food was great too with a good selection of drinks. And the kids enjoyed roasting marsh mallows over the fire in the evening!

The campsites are all very private, each with their own shower, toilet and basin. The sites are immaculately clean and the water is hot for a lovely and refreshing shower. There is a separate basin for doing your dishes as well as a large table with seating under a roof. Each site also has its own braai. The property has the most beautiful bar and restaurant where you can enjoy some refreshments after a long day. The swimming pools are crystal clear and the entire lodge is neat and beautifully kept. I can definitely recommend Kalahari Anib Lodge.

Beautiful lodge! We spent New Year’s Eve there and had a great experience! The dinner is fantastic. The bungalows are well equipped and if you sleep in one of the bungalows with desert view, you get a great terrace and amazing sunsets on top. Staff is very friendly. Our guide Moses showed us the beautiful Kalahari and we saw so many giraffes. Would highly recommend the sunrise drive. Just the pool area could be a bit cleaner.

We stayed at Anib's Camping2Go on our way from Cape Town to Etosha. It was our first (of many) experiences with the Camping2 Go offering and we were super impressed. Great location, excellent accommodation and equipment and very friendly staff (we did experience this throughout our stay at C2G in Namibia).Highly recommended.

Beautiful lodge! This was the first place we stayed at in Namibia and we were so thrilled. Our room was beautiful, the food delicious and the game drive was great! Would highly recommend staying at Kalahari Anib Lodge and hope to come back one day.

Stayed in the camp2go tents which were perfect for our 1 night stay. All clean bedding, towels and crockery. Had wonderful dinner and drinks at the lodge house and then bought fire wood to use in our own fire pit while star gazing.... wow. Loved every minute.

As the first stop on our Namibia trip, we arrived at the Kalahari Anib Lodge around noon. We got help straight away with our suitcases and when we checked in we found out that we could do the Sunset Drive - of course we didn't miss that. After a short exploration of the beautiful property with a pool and a very natural style, we started. One of the biggest differences on our first safari tour was that the cars weren't overcrowded. With our guide Armin we were super lucky because we were always the first car on the animals and herds - therefore we were able to observe herds of zebras with their babies as well as giraffes and various species of antelope undisturbed for minutes. Armin really took a lot of time to answer the guests questions and explained everything and spotted the animals from a distance. The crowning finale was a unique sunset with drinks and snacks. The friendliness of the guides and crew in particular made the stay at the Kalahari Anib Lodge so unique and I would come back at any time :).

Oasis in the middle of nowhere. Great rooms with view towards bush. Great food, top service, friendly staff. Sunrise game drive is definitely worth getting up at 6 am. We saw several giraffes, oryx (Gemsbok), lots of springboks, owl, vulture, ostriches. Also possible to rent an e-bike for a self-guided tour and do some hiking trails. Great place!

Our family had a wonderful stay at Kalahari Anib. We really loved the hikes and beautiful surroundings. We especially loved the kindness and warmth of the people who work at Kalahari Anib. John, our guide was amazing with our family and two young children. Everyone went above and beyond to make our daughter’s birthday a wonderful day! Thank you everyone for an amazing time!

The staff are always friendly but the lodge needs some TLC. The paint in the swimming pool is peeling off and 3 members of our family cut their feet. We left empty drink glasses on a table beside the pool at 12:00 and when we returned at 16:00 they were still there. Someone should be doing a round every 30-45 minutes to take away dirty glasses and it would also promote more sales as people will be willing to order more drinks from the waiter. The rooms are not as clean as they should be, showers need deep cleaning, no sweeping under beds or tables, the big poof in the room is super dusty, towels smell bad, two dirty cups and the top bunk in the comfort family room had sand IN the bed when my daughter went to bed. We have been coming to this lodge since 2018 and we can see how the quality of the physical lodge has deteriorated. We understand there is wear and tear, but some aspects are lacking. Our dinner on Friday 17 November was very poor and I cannot justify paying the amount we do for a sub-standard quality dinner. Also, there are so few animals compared to when we came here at first. This lodge is well located for us, which is why we’ve visited it so frequently, but sadly we won’t be rushing back anytime soon. We often tell friends and family about how much we love Kalahari Anib, but our last visit has left little to rave about.

Our Camping2Go room was not. The bathroom located across the reception area was not clean. The food/buffet is very overpriced compared to the other Gondwana lodges. E-bikes only lasted 10 minutes before they died. Positive note: it is very beautifully designed/engineered.

We enjoyed the swimming pool very much. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed at camping 2go tents and they were very well equiped with everything you need for self catering. The food at the main lodge was also very good.

We stayed 1 night at one of four Camping2Go sites. Tent was incredible, spacious bathroom, very comfortable beds, amazing outdoor area, very private as next tent is 30m away, big fridge and freezer, big outdoor table with benches and firepit. Firewood can be purchased at reception. Staff at reception friendly. Great sunset game drive with suprer guide. Restaurant staff is not the fastest or friendliest but other than that everything was amazing!

We spent 1 night at the Lodge and went on their 3 hour game drive in the evening, which was amazing. We have seen so many animals, our guide was very informative and we had a beautiful sunset with drinks and snacks. The lodge is very nice and modern with a big restaurant for buffet breakfast and dinner, there is a bar and two swimming pools as well. Stable WiFi even in your room.

The rooms were clean and immaculate. However we did experience quite a lot of moths hiding in the bathroom towels. The pools however was not clean. There were a lot of leaves and sand. Breakfast and dinner was superb. The bees kept us busy in the dining area. Overall we enjoyed the stay and will return for a longer stay.

Nice property with a variety of activities offered… walks of different lengths where you can encounter animals, bike tours, and of course the game drive with an amazing sunset/sundowner. Staff very friendly. Just the bathrooms/showers offer room for improvement, but overall great experience!

I did not do any of the activities on offer so I cannot give a rating on your full set of services. The guest wifi needs a lot of improvement, especially when you factor in the weather and that my room had no television (walking to the bar in the middle of the night to get a signal was no joke). Stargazing there is second to none and the staff are exceptional. My wife would really enjoy the lodge but that will have to wait until the next Black Friday sale because it is pricey.

We stayed at the campsite the second time and can totally recommend it. Privacy and nice facilities, just a short walk from the main lodge away. The pool can be used as well and the cocktails at the bar as well as the food in the restaurant are great!

It’s not the wildest / authentic accommodation I had in Namibia but this lodge still has solid pros: An incredible staff, helpful and nice. Amenities are also great. I was in the campsite and even if pretty simple each site has its own bathroom, and each of them are far away from each other. So no light or sound from your neighbors that you almost don’t see. Perfect to watch the stars. Last but not least, ideal location to avoid spending a night getting in or out of Windhoek.

Nice place to stay, staff are very helpful and pleasant. On site restaurant is very good with good choice of food. Rooms are air conditioned and fair size. No TV but do you really need one! WiFi is decent enough for normal use. We had morning sun rise game drive, by the time we got there we had lost the sunrise moment which was disappointing but we had 1 1/2 game drive which was good seeing a few animals inc giraffes, ostriches and spring bucks.

I had a wonderful experience at Kalahari Anib Lodge. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. The lodge is aesthetically pleasing with accessories that create a welcoming atmosphere. The smooth transition between indoor and outdoor makes you feel at ease. The Camping2Go tents are clean and comfortable and allow you to be immersed in nature. I strongly recommend the sundowner dune drive organized by the lodge. It’s the perfect way to get acquainted with the Kalahari desert and still enjoy spectacular views of Kalahari desert scenery.
