We stayed in on two separate occasions in October 2022. Once on the way up to the Okavango River and Caprivi Strip, then again on the way back to Windhoek. This is a very welcoming B&B and the host, Herman, is a wonderful ranconteur with a wealth of experience in Namibia and other countries in Africa. Breakfast, dinner, and afternoon tea on arrival were all excellent meals. The company of other guests sharing their travel anecdotes whilst also enjoying Herman's hospitality made this a memorable stay.

Herman was most attentive, helpful, accommodating of our many needs, went the extra mile, sharing his childhood home & was so hospitable we were sorry to be leaving. His garden lush and green, his dogs so friendly, it was like home away from home. The perfect stopover for us. We left refreshed, ready to camp again. Highly recommend HH820.

Had the most lovely stay here. Herman is a kind and gracious soul, so hospitable and gentle. He made us feel welcome and at home, making us tea and coffee when we came in at night and then again in the morning, and doing his best to make us feel as comfortable as possible, being available by phone for anything we might need. He waved us off warmly when we left in the morning. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. It was clean and charming and felt like a warm place to come home to. We checked out another place in town and it did not compare in any sense - comfort, warmth, spaciousness. I tend to be very finicky and picky about the kinds of places we stay at, especially when it comes to cleanliness, and this place met my expectations. The photos in the other Google reviews don't do justice. There are high ceilings and it feels warm and open.

Never felt this at home anywhere else. Opa Hermanus, many thanks and hope our paths will cross in the future.

Beautiful space and garden, soothing feeling of chipping birds in the morning

Beautiful and not at all pretentious. Comfortable with absolutely delicious breakfast. Fresh fruit grown here! Our toddler loved running around the garden.

The hospitality of Hermann, the owner of this jewel is exemplary and above everybodies expectation. His attention to his guests, his strive for perfection and friendly approach is stunning. 👍👍👍 ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ 7 Stars

My Oasis and home away from home when working in North Namibia. It is like an Oasis with relaxing garden, friendliest hosts. Peaceful setting.
