A great experience. They communicated very well and answered our pre-booking questions on point. Booking went smoothly. We easily found their offices. Trip was well organised and all went according to plan. Dennis, Janine and Mannie were splendid hosts. Food and drinks excellent. I absolutely recommend.

An incredible experience -- truly unforgettable. The staff were fun/ny and so professional -- they love what they are doing. The curio shop supports local artisans and has lovely products. The views were spectacular (those gorgeous, mysterious dunes and mountains, from up close and from afar, the sunrise, the oryx, the other balloon). Covid protocols were followed and we felt safe, both re: virus and re: the flying. The meal afterwards, in the desert, with linen table cloths and champagne... wow. The whole experience is surprisingly quiet and peaceful, and the "drivers" are so expert that we were able to go close to the mountains and see the rock formations, and then lift up. It's a stunning sunrise experience, and the breakfast afterwards is both elegant and delicious (and home cooked). ** And a bonus, this business has also built and operates a school for the local population (kids of hotels/resorts staff? and perhaps a nearby village)

This was a bucket list dream trip for me, and it really was just that. The team at Namib Sky are very professional and provided us with a once in a lifetime experience. The flight was beautiful, the serenity and beauty from above is breathtaking and to finish of the experience we were treated to a delicious champagne breakfast buffet in the desert amongst the dunes.

Very relaxed but professionally run. Very active Covid protocols adhered to at all times. Dennis, our pilot, is very skilled, being the son of this business that has been running for 30 years. Have a curio shop too- products made by locals , which they buy in. Profits go back into their school they run. Fantastic community initiative. The trip was phenomenal and then a delicious, home produce buffet style breakfast in the desert. I can now appreciate the reason it us expensive as it is very labor intensive. Credit cards accepted. Just past Le Mirage on the C27, towards Sesriem.

September '22. This is a superbly run operation and our Pilot (Haki - from Turkey) was informative and top class. However, some constructive feedback on my part. At a cost of NAM$7,800pp (website requires updating in this regard), it was disappointing that a token collection, literally 3 min drive away to le Mirage was charged at extra, not so much the money as principle. I just thought it lacked class when outlay was significant and came across a bit hungry. The balloon trip was flawless in that there wasn't a bump, super smooth and best part of an hour. I understand the reasoning for not flying over the Dunes (impossible to recover etc) but it does take from the experience. It was literally the same stretch of plain throughout and we'd hoped for more. Dennis was authoritive and confident, exactly what you want when going up in the Sky in a basket. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful and there's nice collectibles etc at Namib-Sky shop. As for booking, be mindful that the website doesn't advise how many spaces are left on any given day (you might think up to 8 available when you proceed to fill in names but this isnt necessarily the case) and it literally switches from green to red instantaneously. As such, we missed our preferred travel day. Do not assume this is available every day. There was 46/48 booked on the day we went. A nice experience but for this kind of outlay, probably lacked the wow factor but some spectacular views nonetheless. Cheers
