This is a hidden in plain site venue! Beautiful, serene and accommodating. The menu is fantastic, portions are incredible! Whilst I am a lover of cats and loved seeing them about, please consider people who may have allergies or discomfort for our furry friends. Otherwise, I will certainly be coming back!

Definitely get to go my blueberry milkshake. Definitely! The homemade tagliatelle with salmon is the best you'll find in Namibia, maybe in Africa and definitely in the top 100 in Italy. Be sure to have a look at the vegetable garden behind the restaurant. It's always a treat to see where your food comes from.

(Vegan) Taco Tuesday is my favourite day of the week! Godenfang has THE best vegan tacos in town! Highly recommend!!! I'm sure this favourite will even make any meat eater's mouth water! The desserts are also super delicious!

This charming restaurant serves fresh, well-cooked food in a lovely setting. I enjoyed my refreshing cucumber mojito and Greek salad, while my partner swooned over his overnight slow-cooked short ribs. A must stop if you’re in town!

The best of the best. We are local and probably spend all our budget here for coffee, breakfast, lunch, dinners, live musics, shows, happy hour. We love the kitties, the vibe, the farm to table style homey delicious food and of course the hosts. Recommend x 3000

Thank you Lindi and team. Godenfang is my favourite spot in Walvis Bay to do any event. You always make us feel so welcome and at home. I am all about the vibes and aesthetics of a place. And this is my home away from home. And I would highly recommend you to everyone. You have such a diverse menu. There is literally something for everyone. Your over night pot is mouthwatering delicious. Your chicken tacos is one of my go - to’s. Your watermelon sugar cocktail is my all time favourite drink. I asked for a birthday dinner that is not on your menu. Not only did you deliver but it was fantastic! A family - styled pizza dinner where we shared the different pizzas and played a bit of card games afterwards when we were done with our dinner. That is how welcome we feel at Godenfang. A night to remember.

A big favourite and popular restaurant for many locals who love the soft pastel decor, eclectic vibe and good food. Known for their fresh ingredient pizzas, vegetarian dishes and interesting food pairings Godenfang is a must when visiting Walvis Bay. A delicious variety of dishes and drinks mixed wit a relaxed atmosphere makes this a great place to wind down a busy down.

If you have a stopover in Walvis Bay, this restaurant is a must. Most likely the best food I had in Namibia. Brilliant homie cozy vibe with a lovely ambiance. Felt like a local eating there every evening whilst in Walvis Bay. Be sure to make a reservation as it gets crowded quite fast! The calamari and garlic prawns are likely the best I’ve ever had and the chicken tacos were a delight! There is enough parking across the street and a good bunch of board games and books in the book shelf :) P.S. Despite being a dog person myself, gotta admit the restaurant home cats are adorable. A bit of Garfield vibe in the air :)

It is just as the description says "Urban farm and kitchen"! The restaurant looks like an old beautiful farmhouse. When you enter you just want to stay and visit. Very cozy. Very warm and homely. At the moment only open for takeaways due to COVID-19. As soon as everything is back to normal, please give it a try.....

Fantastic ambience, delicious food, pleasant staff, and a playground for the kids. We've visited Godenfang twice recently, and the experiences have been delightful. Although the menu is on the smaller side, the food is amazing -- particularly the calzones!

Our food was, despite our hopes and high expectarions, really disappointing. It is not nice for me to say this, but lack of seasoning and flavour meant that we did not enjoy the meal at all. We did not get our four meals together, which meant some had finished, while others were not served yet. This is a really difficult review to write, as I enjoyed the videos and pictures we saw and wanted to love the place, but we won't visit again.

What ever you do in Walvis Bay, this restaurant have to be on your list. The people are really nice, the service is perfect an when you think that it can't be better than you will see that the food is exquisite. My wife had fish and I ordered the pot. And both war fantastic. The banana split and the pudding where the he perfect finish for this food experience 😊 also a big plus is the really good coffee 😊 and the little playground was totally played by our nearly 3 year old son. So again do something good for yourself and visit this place with the smooth atmosphere, friendly people and really really great food 🤗🤗🤗

The food was very average, definitely not the restaurant standard. Service was good otherwise. We had the pink peppercorns Stake and it was the worst Stake in Namibia I’ve ever had. Very chewy and looked “exhausted “. Cheesecake looked also different but tasted okay. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Delicious food, friendly service, wonderful cocktails, genuine bagels and pet-friendly! If we lived closer we would eat here all the time. Such a delightful and interesting restaurant, we can’t wait to come back!

No joke the best restaurant in Namibia. Simple, pared down menu of excellent food, a significant amount of which comes from the owner’s garden in the back. Best cocktails I’ve had in country; their old fashioned is to die for. If you’re ever at the coast, come here for breakfast, lunch or dinner and you won’t be disappointed. Speaking of breakfast, it’s the only place on the coast worth going to that’s open on Sundays.
