I had quite an average experience at Safari Court Hotel. Given that this is an Accor affiliated hotel, I may have come in with high hopes. On the plus side, the gym was amazing, the room was spacious & comfortable, however, the lighting is quite dim which was unusual. The hotel's restaurant is overpriced by around 200% on essentially any item that you can think of - I paid N$50 for a small bottle of sparkling water & the breakfast (at possibly the noisiest & most ill-behaved breakfast service) comes in at close to N$250 for a sub-par selection. In general, the hotel is built for conferences & foreign tourists in terms of pretty much everything - I'd personally recommend the Hilton which is round about the same price & promises better value.

Conveniently located. The rooms are wide, neatly kept. Proper toilet, I have enjoyed the gym with my boyfriend. And we have enjoyed their breakfast and dinner

Very expensive for local people. Service at reception is good. Had to wait very long for orders at the restaurant and Lady's Bar. Did not have all the drinks, classes or chains available. No parking for disabled people.

This hotel was once one of the best in Windhoek but the standard had dropped n it's deteriorating. The carpet in the rooms smells dirty. The furniture is old n the pillows r old n don't give proper support. I'm still suffering from a sore neck. The food is terrible. Please do something to improve the food n service.

Went for dinner. Our waiter, Pienaar, was a jewel. Helpful and an absolute joy of a human being. Prices on food and drinks was just staggering. Very very expensive. Food was good but pricing was extreme.

Great place, friendly staff members. The problem was the Wifi during the day because it could not handle the crowd.

A very warm and relaxing place to rest while on the go. Carpets makes the room smell stuffy. More cleaning with powerful chemicals is needed on the carpets

Hotel wing was under construction, which made for noisy mornings. My hotel room was really great. However, there was no wifi on the day of arrival, cable theft. Vegetarian food options were not great. Ordered a vegetarian burger and received sloppy mush on a bun. There was no hot water in the shower and i made do with luke warm showers.

My husband and I stayed for 3 days and 2 nights while on our honeymoon and both agree that the Safari Court Hotel is one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed at. The room was clean, the service was excellent and the food was exceptional and affordable. We greatly enjoyed our stay here and will definitely stay here again next time we come to Windhoek.

If you have UK standard power cables and charger plugs, be ready to rent adaptor for over 10usd daily. If you are in a rush, the hotel doesn't not support with take away for breakfast.. Otherwise its a great clean place. ***

If you like a quiet place, this place is for you. Close to Eros national airport, the hotel is a bit isolated from the noise of the city an offer confort for business trip. The internet connection is also good.

The room that I had was quite old. Still in a good shape, but you can tell that it was not renovated in the last 15 years. The overall experience was good!

Welcome to this breathtaking oasis, nestled close to nature with meticulously arranged plants. Look no further for your ideal lodging destination, now known as the Mercure Hotel. Highly recommended for an unforgettable stay amidst nature's embrace.

Great new hotel for me. The rooms are nicely furnished and the dinner and breakfast buffets have a very good selection.

To be brutally honest, the rooms need to be renovated. Many things need to be improved. But i loved their customer service. Super friendly

Your staff really need training on people skill. They are incredibly rude!! Reception staff is okay, everyone else, especially those ok breakfast duty need training on people skills. I'm not saying be excited to assist but be pleasant. 3 years in a row I come here and it never changes . Do better

More options to choose from either holiday or business. Spa, wellness gym, pool and conference centres. Few Kilometres from the busy noisy central town. But it 3km from the biggest mall

Hotel Safari is the best in the city. I went to Hotel Safari for my graduation. 👌❣❣

  • 4/5 Jessica N. 2 years ago on Google
The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because there was a huge roach in the closet 😭😭😭

Reasonably priced but rooms appear too dated. The service could be so much better with a little effort in training staff on customer care. Location is great: next to the domestic airport and shuttle services to the CBD.

I had the misfortune of spending 10 days here in quarantine. The service was atrocious. The food was always cold. Normally I will give a place the benefit of the doubt and time to improve services after pointing out shortcomings but unfortunately there was no improvement throughout my entire stay.

Friendly service but the bars had no cold beer due to the fridges being broken for a long time according to staff. Also got sent to and fro due to staff not knowing where dinner would be served. Also only expensive buffet available and no a la carte.

The food was fine, but they need to add take aways or more tissues when hosting conferences or sell take aways buckets ... Supervisor are too much on the waiters they should let the people breath and correct their mistakes after the events please.... Avoid giving threats to the employees.. Just tell them the dos and don't

A little dated compared to the other newer Hotels. But anyone who likes the vintage feel, would enjoy it.

Clean and comfortable hotel. Unfortunately restaurant was not very welcoming to us. Poor service. Also they closed the bar at 21:00 on the day on our last day, which was a bummer since we wanted to celebrate.

One of the best in Windhoek, clean rooms, spacious, good cable TV, good food ...only issue is sometimes slow wifi.

Beautiful hotel, rooms are beautiful and beds are comfy, with air-con. The view from my room was very pretty especially at night and in the early morning. Staff were lovely/ very helpful and easy to talk to. My other favorite place a part from the the room was the lounge, its nice and cozy, the restaurant and the gym.pool is amazing too but too cold for me😁. So If you find yourself in Windhoek, I definitely recommend this place.
