Great Italian food. Good selection of salad, pizza and pasta. We were well looked after in this cheerful restaurant in Swakopmund. Plenty of seating both inside and out.

Had 2 takeaway pizzas. A PFS pizza (ham, mushroom and chorizo) and a Calzone Classico (folded pizza filled with Mozarella ham and mushrooms) Both were delicious with quality ingredients. Definitely a local business we highly recommend and will support in the future. And I would agree with other reviewers who said "Definitely the best pizza in Namibia"

I didn't expect the best pizza in recent memory to be in Namibia! Totally worth the walk to the far end of town near some hostels. Awesome ambiance, fast friendly service and amazing pizza. Nice thin crust and delicious cheese. Absolutely fantastic!

BEST PIZZA IN NAMIBIA, hands down. We’ve been now 135 days in east Africa and we’ve ordered pizza a few times (sometimes that was just the most sensible option) this is not only the best pizza we had in 9 East African countries but also better than some NYC pizza (where I live). No surprise here, the owner is Italian, and he makes every pizza, you can taste it. Amazing!

This is the best pizza I have eaten in Namibia, hands-down. The crust is thin, but blistered, soft and tasty, and the toppings are flavorful and delicious. I have been looking for some time for good pizza in Namibia and I finally found it! The pasta is also great and the beer/wine list is well-priced and adequate. They also do takeaway with actual pizza boxes (which may seem like a given, but it is not). Very highly recommended. We will be back!

As close to real Italian food as it can get in Namibia. Delicious Spagetti Alio & Olio, Spagetti Carbonara and Pizza Parma. Recommendable and very good price value relation.

Proper Italian pizza! Wood fire, thin crust. Oh yeah! The only thing I'd change is to put olives without the piths. Didn't realise it when I took my first bite. Crunch ouch!

Simply great! Quick and attentive staff. We were a bit curious how authentic the pizza would be + were positively surprised! Great crust and nice sauce. Delicious!

It was a wonderful eveninig during our trip in Namibia! We had a very good aperitif: Aperol Spritz and the pizza was great! Also the service was lovely. Sean was a great and kind waiter! If we visit Swakopmund again, we are coming back! Love from Belgium

12/10! We were a group of six and we had the best time ever! The was delicious, took us all back to Rome. The homemade pasta and pesto were a dream. The pizza delicious, this is by far the best Italian in Namibia. Worth a visit. The staff was amazing too, everyone was happy and in a really good mood. Thanks so much for hosting us, we had a blast.

After reading all the reviews, we decided to give "the best" pizza a try. We were sorely disappointed, it was a "so-so".... Agreed: 1) lovely fresh ingredients; 2) base is great; 3) good flavour (even though the chilli was omitted on my pizza and I had to get it as a side); 4) location is excellent Against: 1) book a table in advance, especially like now, when it's a long weekend... in order not be and feel rushed; 2) the toppings are skimpy and the bare crusts shouted at me and were slightly burnt - it is clear that they are rushed due to popularity and thus not paying attention as they should; 3) overpriced I can truly recommend an alternative quieter pizzeria close by... see my other reviews.

My family and I had an amazing time. The chef was actually Italian!! He let my two kids make their own pizza, they were thrilled. The food was also amazing. My wife had the gnocchi and it was the best. Definitely recommend this place. The bathroom was amazing too...

The service was great and the food is just above average. We enjoyed the Frutti pasta (seafood) and the Gorgonzola Gnocchi. However I think they can spend some time on plating the gnocchi, it seemed flat in appearance. Their spaghetti is also more al dente (which I loved) than completely soft so if you don’t like that, you were warned.

Excellent Pizza, comparative to some of the best in Italy. Service excellent

A small piece of Italy in Swakopmund. The owners of Gabriele's have years of Italian cooking under their belt and it shows (tastes?). The pizza menu itself consists of 4 pages of pizza! Which, personally, is a bit overwhelming. But once you've finally made your decision, you can expect a uniquely thinly crusted pizza to land on your table. I've never had walnuts on pizza but they make it work. Be sure to make bookings ahead of time as they are consistently packed, as expected. They make use of locally sourced produce, which is highly appreciated. When ordering, be sure to get yourself starters and dessert, as the pizza is quite thin (but not skimping on topppings) and is easily devoured without leaving you stuffed. My husband loves Tiramisu and says he was not disappointed. I look forward to returning to try their homemade pasta.

I had Never visited before despite living in Swakopmund for 3 years and golly did they live up to what I heard. Food was impeccable had the Christians. Felt like I was in a Venetian pizzeria along the canals edge. Don’t change a thing you guys are awesome

The quality of both pizzas and pastas were excellent, the ingredients, fresh and the service, friendly and efficient. The pizza menu is certainly never ending (4 pages almost) but the final product is worth waiting for. Highly recommend the desserts as well.

The pizza was pretty freaking good, and pretty close to Italin pizza from Italy. Its owned by an a couple who lived in Italy but moved to Namibia and opened their own pizza shop. It is pretty reasonably priced. It does not have wifi and the coke cans are really small but I would still highly recommend if you are looking for good pizza. Our waitress was super nice and sweet.

Probably the best pizza I had in years! The thin base was baked perfectly crisp and the crust light and tasty. The flavours of the toppings amazingly well balanced and just absolutely delicious

Most authentic Italian style pizza that I have had in Africa! Went for dinner twice and it was outstanding both times. Good wine and beer selection as well. Very friendly staff. Don’t hesitate to try it!
