Good hotel in Swakopmund from which everything is within walking distance. The rooms are well-furnished, and the courtyard is nicely designed. Unfortunately, we had an air conditioning unit that, even though it was turned off, made strange noises during the night. Despite notifying the reception, nothing was changed about it. However, the service is still very friendly, the offered laundry service is quick and affordable. The breakfast is very good, and the evening snacks offered are a viable alternative to the restaurants in the area. The hotel has a guarded parking lot.

Modern, nice hotel with very helpful staff. At breakfast you can have your eggs made to order, waffles, and even oysters and champagne. Rooms were clean and spacious. Laundry was quick and returned items on the same day.

Arrived at the hotel at 17:15 and I was welcomed by 2 friendly ladies. They were very welcoming and accommodating. They helped me to find an activity that I could do on Friday. Breakfast every morning was very delicious and I enjoyed the Oysters and Champagne every morning. The hotel is always neat and clean. I will always continue coming back to The Delight because it feels like home every time. The professional staff and good breakfast is top. We enjoyed our stay with my son.

I have enjoyed my stay at Delight Hotel, all the staff members are very friendly, from the the guys helping with luggage, Receptionists, Kitchen staff were awesome they really made me comfortable. i really have no issues to complain about. i am looking forward to seeing you again

What a stunning hotel, so well run and managed. Down to the smallest detail. It is clear that someone poured alot of love into this place. Nespresso machine in my room, this was a first! Breakfast was great, bar stays open late with great wine and beer. Close to the good restaurants in the area. What more can I say other than soon you next time again! I will not even bother looking for another hotel.

Very good experience. However Aircon was extremely loud. Also, the door heading to reception from rooms as well as the one which takes you outside seem to be locked all the time during the night. If this is the case, give customers a key for convenience sake. Had to wait for someone to open every time I wanted to go out or come back in.

My overall stay was awesome; however, the Wi-Fi connectivity should be worked on it kept going on and off, and the waitress should refill all the essentials in the room just not some.

Awesome! This was heaven on earth. I enjoyed every moment of my stay. Amazing breakfast. Beautiful room ambience, and best cleaned rooms. White lovely towels, sparkling clean and hygienic amenities. Secure parking and safe environment. Unmatchable service! I cannot ask for more.

Great food, great service, spacious and stylish rooms, very nice restaurants on site, of which are all great. The only downer was a City Tour recommended and booked by the reception which - we understood - would cost 450 N$. Turned out that was the price per person and hour, so we paid nearly 2000 N$ for a 2h taxi ride through Windhoek, and also had to pay in cash. Don't do that, it's not worth the time and money.

We had to book a room at very short notice, late at night. We're Gondwana card members - the process was quick, discounts applied and off we were. The room was very comfortable and well appointed, the breakfast was also delicious. To top it off we forgot one of our kids teddies in the room and the staff went out of their way to help us find it again.

Goodness gracious! Did I need some "delight" in my life after my Town Lodge Windhoek experience?! Arrived here with zero expectations, and I am bowled over. Room facilities simply incomparable to anything else anywhere near in this price bracket (Nespresso, with pods, instant hot chocolate, biscuits, 2 LARGE bottles of water, quirky yet high quality decor...) and the warmest staff. I've just had a surprise hot water bottle delivered to my room! Is there any better way to say " we care" than doing that? I'm smitten. Thanks The Delight. You've saved my dismal work trip to Namibia and made me happy to be here! I am grateful.

The stay was very pleasant at Delight. The staff is amazing and the cleanliness of the rooms is unmatched. The buffet breakfast provided a wide variety of options.

We had a great stay here. The staff were very understanding and attentive of our dietary requirements which we are super appreciative of. The room was very spacious and clean. We used the laundry service which was easy and very reasonably price. Overall we would recommend staying here in Swakopmund and enjoyed our stay.

It was truly delightful to stay there. Once you step in, everyone makes you feel at home. The service is friendly, Denise at the counter was amazing. The rooms are so beautiful and fresh. The music next door (The restaurant in the next building) was a bit unpleasant but we know that there is nothing that you can do about it. The breakfast the next morning... All I can say is WOW! My husband could not stop talking about the variety of food. Well done Gondwana!

The difference between a good hotel and a great hotel is in the details. The Delight is a great hotel. I was not expecting much from this 3-star hotel in a small town on the coast of Namibia. I could not have been more pleasantly surprised. Upon check-in, I was greeted with a complimentary glass of sweet tea. They were incredibly welcoming. The lobby is beautiful, someone clearly put time and effort into designing the space. There were couches, a fireplace, a well-stocked bar, and beautiful touches of artwork everywhere. The rooms were equally surprising. Impeccably clean and also well designed. Touches of red with sparkling white and wood make the room pop and feel like something way more hip than a simple hotel. The W could learn a thing or two from this hotel's design chops. The beds were comfortable, the shower was hot, the towels were soft and gigantic. It was like wrapping myself in a cloud. There was coffee and tea as well as free cookies in the room. The desk was large and the chair comfortable. Heat and aircon were modern and worked well. And there were extra blankets just in case. The included buffet breakfast also exceeded expectations. Omelettes to order, fresh fruit, baked goods, a meat and cheese platter, and an array of hot breakfast meats created a memorable experience. Overall I can't imagine a better stay. This place is not a 3-star hotel. It's clearly a 4 and should be recategorized to reflect it's amenities and attention to detail. I will almost certainly stay here again when I make it back to the Namibian coast.

The check-in process was efficient and informative; the staff was friendly and very helpful. The rooms are absolutely gorgeous and well equipped ; from a SMEG bar fridge to a Nespresso machine with complimentary capsules and a salon-quality hair dryer. The rooms are also larger than your average hotel room and there was plenty of space for our luggage. The bathroom had plenty of towels accompanied by luxury body washes and lotions. There is safe and secure, remote-controlled, parking on the premises. The breakfast was top tier, from oysters and sparkling wine to waffles and ice cream, a variety of nuts and cheese and everything in between. The self-made Mimosas were a hit! :) Overall, it was truly a delightful experience!

The Delight is fun, comfortable and clean. Friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast was so-so continental. It was a cold night and the heating unit in our room failed. They were full, so couldn't move us, and after maintenance failed to fix it (it was Sunday, so expert repair was unavailable) they did put hot water bottles in the bed for us.

It was an absolutely 'delightful' experience. Best breakfast in town. Exquisite decor. The staff is so helpful and professional. I had to go onto a Zoom call just as I was checking in. They had me set up in minutes. Wish I could have loaded the little SMEG fridge in my car. I inquired about a lift to the breakfast space but was told that there wasn't one. I'd therefore not be able to bring my father to The Delight even though I know you'd make every effort to accommodate him. Not sure if there are rooms specially for the elderly or persons with disabilities. Nonetheless, thanks Gondwana, for always surpassing quality and service standards. You make us proud Namibians!

I am always so excited to come back to delight. The service is incredibly amazing and the rooms are fantastic!! My whole family has been coming for some time and not one time did we have a negative experience. Brought my mom for the first time and she was super impressed. The rooms are great, clean, lovely decorated. That nespresso coffee situation is such a lovely touch for me because listen not all coffee is made equal and i always feel very much personally taken care of in this regard. The breakfast is the best as usual, truly amazing all round. Everyone in the kitchen/restaurant is incredible. Emma is outstanding, she has been there since we have been coming to Delight and she always has a smile on her face and that she remembers my family and the kids is just too precious for words. Killian is new to me and he was just outstanding. So patient with chaos that is the breakfast rush and just does his thing with a beautiful smile on his face. I don't think there is anywhere else to stay in swakop to be honest.

The hotel was very nice, pretty great designs in the rooms and nice service. The beds are comfortable and relaxing, the bathroom is beautifully designed and very nice shower. The balcony has nice view. The breakfast packs were very delicious and enjoyable. Overall I loved my stay at The Delight Swakopmund

Nice modern rooms, sufficient parking. Friendly staff like always. Superb breakfast. No formal dinner is served as there are sufficient restaurants in town. Pays to have a Gondwana card otherwise it's a bit expensive given the many good alternatives in town. This is probably a place for people who book Gondwana tours. Good wifi, adequate working space (boardrooms). Only complaint would be that the rooms are cold. The a/c didn't help much. The staff did hand out hot water bottles and blankets, but it's a construction thing especially in the family rooms with high ceilings. No sea view.

Staff is professional and friendly and always willing to assist without necessarily being prompted. The hotel and rooms have a vibrance to them that is second to none- You have managed to make the most of the spaces by using brilliant interior designing methods. The front desk staff and bar man is very engaging and makes being in the front area a pleasure. The attention to detail (addition of a warm bag under the covers over the cold nights) is brilliant.

Very beautiful hotel. The stuff was friendly and courteous. The room was clean and cozy. The breakfast they served every day was delicious (waffles, scrambled eggs, musli). They also have an extra parking area. The location of the hotel is perfect to visit the city or to go for some trips into the dunes.

Amazing. Beautiful comfortable rooms. Spacious, clean and well maintained. The staffs are great especially the ones looking after breakfast. Best breakfast in Namibia. So worth it. Loved the stay.

The rooms are modern and roomy. However the service was variable, ranging from friendly to downright rude. We were travelling with children and despite booking adjoining rooms we were separated from our children by two flights of stairs. Do not accept room 37 if like me, you're a moderately light sleeper as the washing machines on the other side of the wall from the bed operate (and spin) throughout the night. In reference to other reviews I note that the Delight does not have a restaurant.

We used the conference facilities for a business meeting. It was neat, but nothing special. Getting someone to show us up to where the meeting was was disappointingly difficult.

The place is delightful with brightfull colours to brighten up the stay. Hotel is exceptionally clean. Fantastic and efficient customer service.

Great Service! The Breakfast Dining Room Staff were excellent. Great Breakfast nothing beats those oysters and sparkles in the morning. The rooms are practically and comfy. We had a great stay.
