I did the desert fat biking tour today with Mark the owner of the company. The tour was great! It exeeded my expectation. Crusing on the dunes where so much fun. The feeling is unique. I higly recommend this tour and the company.

Loved it, want to do it again and again. Once I concurred my uncertainty, it was pure joy. I recommend this for any one who loves cycling . The owner and other people that is helping the unskilled like me, were excellent in assisting . Everybody needs to experience the dunes first hand. I falled in love with an ebike. Bonus was the Swakkopriver reaching the ocean on our cycling day, after years of drought.

A fill in activity which I would now add to a must do list! Our young guide, Torbin, was informative, supportive and patient. Unless keen on a challenge I would recommend the e-bike. Some effort will still be required when you get stuck in soft sand, and you will - even the guides do, but otherwise it made light going of the tour. If you can ride a bike you can ride the dunes on an e-bike. Tremendous fun

10/10 experience. You could go crazier or do the chicken way, either way you'll have fun. I wish I would chose the longer program. You should!

Super cool experience. We did a 2 hour e-bike tour just before sunset and got to enjoy amazing sights and some adventurous (optional) descents from steep dunes. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the environment and the history of the desert and dunes. He even learned us some words in his native language as he’s he a descendant of the bushman village near Twyfelfontein. Definitely put this experience on your to do list when in the area!

Really great experience and my first time riding a fat bike on sand dunes. I did the longest trail which is 21km. There are certainly parts that require a lot of exertion to get up the hill and then you've got the rush of going down the sand dunes as well. We also managed to see a skink (blind, legless lizard) on the trail. It's truly a unique experience riding on sand dunes as the terrain literally shifts under your feet. There are pockets of very soft sand that can slow you down that require you to peddle harder. The view and just being in the desert is incredible. I highly recommend this experience to anyone that enjoys cycling but if you're doing the 21km be prepared to work a bit for your enjoyment. I really enjoyed it! You're doing sight seeing in the desert, it's unique! Enjoy!

Really great fatbike tour in the dunes. Our guide, Gibson, was really kind and experienced. He explained us about the history of the dunes, the country and the nature which was interesting. It was a great experience and discovery. The extreme dune was amazing. A good mix between sport and science.

Great experience right at the edge of Swakopmund. For a very fair price you will be taken out into the dunes and will cycle along them with 2 different downhill rides, one smaller, one bigger. Additionally the guide explains about the dunes, desert and river. You will go back at the coast to where you started. Absolutely recommended when you visit swakopmund.

we started with a guided tour, the combination of city and dunes - very informative and varied. The dunes are beautiful, but also very challenging, it's much easier with a guide who knows the paths. we rented bikes again to see more of Swakopmund. The place is bike friendly and it's great fun. This is one of the most incredible experiences that I got in my entire life. Biking on the sand can be challenging but it's worth it when you get to do it with a guide who is very knowledgeable about the ecosystem of the deserts in Namibia.

Thank you SFBT, today desert tour was great experience and our guide was very professional. Bikes were great condition and childrens had a chance use e-bikes. We took 2h tour but I suggest longer one, to discover more desert life.

Super way to spend a morning in Swakopmund. Easy to do and staff were very helpful. I highly recommend you give this a go when you in Swakopmund. We took the e-bike option, I know lazy but it means that we got to cover more more ground in the 4 hours we had the bike. So worth the extra few bucks we spent on that.

We did the city tour. It's amazing when you realize what you experience when only on a bike, it's quite incredible. The staff is friendly and helpful and hands-on. Safety is a priority, gave us some pointers where to cycle. Roads are easy and friendly to use. Bikes is in a very good condition and easy to use. A bit tricky for smaller children, know what you are getting yourself into, be prepared to assist. Rates are affordable and shop is easy to find. Parking can be challenging on a busy day. A must to do when at the coast ❤️👌🏼
