Had the worst experience at this store walked in the store no communication whatsoever was followed around incessantly and was finally told no backpacks even though my bag was not a backpack and as a tourist from overseas I would think you would welcome any sales especially from tourists who are willing to spend their money there….I would give zero stars if I could word of advice customers do not like being followed around constantly as it is a deterrent from wanting to make a purchase and communication is key with your customers coming in and out of the store. Nadi town prouds store.😡

Amazing trip ruined by going to this shopping centre. SCAM CENTRAL, please be aware of individuals who will forcefully approach you especially an Indian/fijian man who goes by the name “Peter” they will convince you and guide you to certain stores that claim to be 100% Fijian owned and authentic. They will also discourage you from going to any Indian owned stores like Jacks fiji etc. at these stores, they will welcome you and almost make you feel like you have to buy something from them and for a 100% Fijian owned store their prices are ridiculous. One store in particular is called “the youths art” something like that. Please if anyone approaches you and tries to persuade you to visit a store, turn away! These people will almost make you want to never visit Fiji again. If you’re staying in a resort on Denarau island, I would highly recommend going to port denarau if you would like to shop and dine as they have many affordable stores and restaurants. I wouldn’t bother leaving Denarau island as they have everything there. This is just my 2cents and hopefully will save many traveler’s the pain and hassles. Cheers.

Not even worth giving a star. Went in with an excitement but left with such a disappointment, because the staff was beyond rude, especially the short Indian cashier and the orange haired Fijian. Out of all the space behind us, she decided to walk in between me and my brother while we were talking, and she stepped on my foot. She did not even say, “I’m sorry,” or, “Excuse me.” The cashier treated us as if we were stupid and do not know English. Now I understand why my friends warned us not to go to Prouds, because they all experienced rudeness from the staff. I don’t know if they’re racist or just rude in nature, but out of all the department stores we visited in Nadi, Prouds gave us the worst experience.

A decent store in Fiji. They have good collection of branded goods. Most of the stores have parking space for customers. Staff are OK but customer service is not that great. Display is neat and friendly.

As a tourist looking for souvenirs in Nadi, someone recommended Proud’s. However, it’s more of a duty free shop than a local authentic souvenir place. Lots of overly fragrant perfumes (terrible for those of us who are scent sensitive) and purses. Definitely wasn’t what we were after when it came to authentic Fijian souvenirs. That being said, the store was welcoming, staff kind and not pushy, and it was well air conditioned.
