Little would I know that Nan would possess one of the most tranquil and enjoyable vegetarian culinary experiences in Thailand. Set inside a lovely, rustic Thai home and garden, Ban Jay is truly a must visit while in this lovely town. The owner Greer's you with a smile and simply tells you "50 baht, serve yourself." Music to my ears. I ended up staying here for an hour. They are closed for two consecutive days after each respective Buddha days so please plan accordingly. Sabadee!!! Location tip**look for the giant TOA store. Access the road directly across the street and turn left, Ban Jay is a few meters in the left (look for the black satellite dish).

Amazing Jin! She welcomed my family and me every time and she made special basil pasta for us! It was not on her daily menu on the day though. We were like a real family met in a long time. She cared us, specially my daughter Woori a lot. She is full of love. We went to see her almost everyday during 10 days stay in Nan. When we were leaving Nan, she took us some good places and to Nan bus terminal.

Amazing vegetarian buffet place for only 50 Baht per person. Don’t miss it if you are in Nan. The owner is fabulous!

Lovely owner, super food and excellent value of money. I came back here everyday for the breakfast during my stay (except for the closed days, I'm guessing Monday/Tuesday..) Owner was so cheerful and genuinely friendly, greeting me in Korean even. We were saying 'hi' and thank u' always in each other's language so it always crashed lol.

Great Northern vegan/vegetarian buffet only 50thb per person. Very very good taste, super clean and the owner is very nice and welcome. Highly Recommended!

There's not as many options as some other places (4 or 5 dishes plus some noodle soup) but or meals were good. Note: after 'special Buddhist days' they are closed the following two days.
