This temple is a must if you are nearby. A great place with wonderful views.

Many may wonder isn't Wat Phuket in Phuket? Phuket is actually derived from the Malay word Bukit which means hill. Wat Phuket is build on hill. A nicely build temple with lots of activities and nearby stalls makes it even more interesting. There is a live local dance performance and you can see dogs, cats and chicken living in harmony.

Beautiful temple and amazing view on ricefields below. Many coffee shops to chill out in the surroundings.

Realy Nice Tempel place, With great View

It is a place of peace with the wonderful view. The temple is on the higher ground that you can see the panorama view of the wide paddy filed and the mountain.

Good view from the temple. Near the temple has a shop for local style clothes. Very beautiful but a bit pricey.

Wat Phuket is isolated up a small hill overlooking beautiful, lush green rice paddies. This temple complex offers a "templestay" for those who wish to experience temple life. There are many signs on many roads but the info on GoogleMaps is accurate.

We reached the temple in the late evening, there are still some visitors inside the temple, the weather is nice in December, especially when you are up hill. Seems like every temple has their own animals to feed. This one they have lots of chickens.

Wat Phuket is a beautiful temple with two fish ponds and many places to take photos. The temple is large with a large outside courtyard.
