A very “feels like home” place to stay! Also if you enjoy reading, writing, water coloring, this place will be the right place. You can simply sit whole day choosing books and then go to sleep in this library. They have all kinds of books and sometime a workshop with local writers for you to join the communities. The owner is a former teacher in Nan school so you can also enjoy discussing history and culture of Nan with her.

Lovely place, old houses with garden, many nice details. 'Reception' was a bit strange as it seemed to be closed on the first glimpse, then after shouting the old lady came, unfortunatelly she can speak no English, so it was a bit difficult. Coffee shop indeed had closed unfortunatelly.

A lovely cafe in Nan. Great coffee and scrummy cake. Peaceful location

Great spot to chill on a hammock and read. Only downside is that it can get hot as there's no air-conditioning, yet the first floor is more airy. Better to visit in the morning or late afternoon during the warmer months..

I had the wonderful big room with wood floor. It was very quiet and at night I could open all the windows, thanks to good mosquito screens all around and perfect temperatures in early December. The private terrace, shaded by plants, to that room is great too; in the morning you only hear sweet talkative birds and mutedly, occasionally, a gong from nearby Wat Montian. Great compound with two wooden houses, very leafy. Car parking narrow, but easier opposite Wat Montian. Laundry service nearby. Lots of good lady bicycles free to use (bring your own lock). Owner Krutom is super helpful and friendly, but not always around (saved my trip by patiently finding a bag repair and had other helpful suggestions). A very special, very Lanna place to stay.

This is a really cute guesthouse with a lot of nearby conveniences. The manager/owner is kind, the library/book store is very cozy, and the surrounding flora is a peacefull escape from the 'city hustle' (that is Nan, lol). I really appreciate the Lanna style lodgings and how resources here are obviously sustained and well managed.
