I
visited
Exhale
Lounge
on
May
28th
with
a
few
friends.
We
had
high
hopes
-
the
place
looks
amazing.
But
we
were
soon
appalled
at
their
poor
customer
service.
Additionally
their
menu
is
way
overpriced
for
what
you
get.
Four
in
our
party
of
12
waited
for
over
an
hour
for
our
meal.
The
waitress
kept
promising
it
was
coming,
and
coming
and
coming,
but
nothing.
Perhaps
it
had
something
to
do
with
the
kitchen
staff
being
glued
to
the
football
match
in
the
main
restaurant.
Eventually,
after
an
hour
of
waiting,
no
food,
I
asked
to
see
the
manager
and
-
to
my
disbelief
-
was
stonewalled…
I
just
waited
around
and
absolutely
insisted
on
speaking
to
the
manager.
When
the
manageress
eventually
graced
me
with
her
presence
she
claimed
it
was
“because
they
were
so
busy,
and
that
many
customers
had
to
wait”.
Actually,
there
were
other
customers
who
arrived
after
us
that
got
their
food
before
us.
She
also
offered
that
they
had
to
“kill
the
fish
they
had
just
caught
to
provide
it
fresh
to
customers.”
Wha??
Whatever
the
‘reason’,
I
don’t
think
there
is
any
excuse
on
earth
that
can
justify
waiting
over
an
hour
for
a
simple
salad.
My
wife
eventually
cancelled
her
order
as
dinner
time
had
long
passed
for
her.
Exhale
Lounge
obviously
believe
they
offer
a
premium
dining
experience.
Management
&
it’s
waitering
&
kitchen
staff
however
have
much
to
learn
about
customer
service.
It’s
not
all
about
the
bling,
the
thumping
music,
the
big
TV
screens
and
swanning
about
in
a
cocktail
dress
-
they
need
to
learn
to
manage
their
priorities
and
their
workflow
better.
And
upon
complaint
from
a
large
group
of
customers,
they
would
do
well
to
validate
their
paying
customer’s
complaint,
own
up
to
their
poor
service
and
provide
decent
compensation
to
ensure
some
of
their
guests’
evening
is
saved;
instead
of
providing
flimsy
excuses
and
paltry
5%
discount
pre
multiple
taxes,
plus
refusing
to
take
off
the
service
fee.
Unbelievable.
Avoid
like
the
plague.
