This is the main Madina station to board a bus to any where within the city. Although there's another station at the market, called MARKET STATION. The GPRTU STATION also have buses that go out of the city, examples include Koforidua and all other main towns along the main route to Koforidua, Somanya through the R40 route, Dodowa, Akosombo, Volta region, central,e.t.c There are about 3 public 🚻 toilets within and around the station. The exist of the station can be found a toll where daily tolls are taken from buses and cars existing the station. The station is being manage by the Madina Municipal Assembly.

The Madina GPRTU Station sits in dusty grounds about the size of a soccer field, Fed by three main equally dusty roads. For every destination there are usually two passenger buses from two different transport unions boarding at the same time. With patient observation one can determine which vehicle is boarding faster, and take appropriate decisions. There's no decent washroom, so you must have done your necessary elimination before coming this far. On a non-rainy day you'll have to brace up and cope with the barrage of vendors of all sorts of wares, from edibles to wearables, for as long as your vehicle is boarding. One thing is certain, you get a good price whatever you buy!

Buses here offer a decent transport to your various destinations in Parts of Eastern, Oti and Volta region respectively. As early as 4:00am till 11pm, you will get a bus in this station, only issue here got to do with the small spacing thereby creating over crowding. Waiting seat aren't comfortable as it's only hard surface benches are available for seating. Untill recently, fairs here to various destinations are moderate but it has gotten expensive here. And oh, parcel 📦 services are also offered here. Apart from it being expensive, you are assured of getting your items or parcels to their various destinations. Find this place in Madina Lorry station just near the main gate towards Zongo Junction.

The place is a bus station with a wide scope of destination. With such scope the least one would expect is dirt, disorganization, untidiness and disrespectful bus conductors and drivers. But that's exactly what you find there... The place looks awful when it rains... The road leading to the station is not tarred, and the station itself... Lots of mud when it rains... Cars and busses park anyhow over there. Made up of highly informal people operating the place....

Madina GPRTU station was good. As I am in Adenta, it is better than going all the way to Accra for Ho trip.
