Wondai to Murgon has the most to offer for the naturalist. A few towns in between offer a more epicurean approach to tackling this trail.

A fantastic Bike riding resource for the whole community, highly accessible, as the incline and grade are very moderate, with easy climbs and lots of dead flat sections. Kids and older folk would find sections that suit them happily. A really lovely place to get your exercise and family time at the same time.

Excellent trail, hard going from Kilkivan to Goomeri, not suitable for city bikes as trail is over grown and as few creek crossing. The section between Morgon and Kingaroy is all sealed and easy to ride for bicycles of all types.

A little bit overgrown but nothing to complain about. Some of the sections are a long, shallow, steady and unrelenting incline but great going back the other way (25kph role for at least 10 ks.)

Awesome, absolutely loved the whole trail. We cycled from Kingaroy to Kilkivan and return. Loved all the small towns along the trail. The history boards are fabulous.

Rolled through over 2 days. Fantastic variety of scenery. Weather cool and sunny. The bitumen from Murgon to Kingaroy would be suitable for families.

This rail trail is so well built and a hidden gem for the region. Having the good surface to ride on versus the usual dirt trails makes it extra special. The towns are nice on the way and tourists are warmly welcomed. Lots of good safety as when the trail crosses roads there is lots of warnings. Bridges in place for crossing creeks etc. I’ll be back again.

Excellent local recreation path (trail). Well maintained and for all ages and abilities. Pub stops on the trail are a must.
