El lugar es bastante lindo la verdad, muy tranquilo y fresco. Pero eso sí, al igual que muchos, les recomiendo ir en temporada baja y temprano para disfrutar más de la belleza del lugar. Ya cuando se llena el agua se comienza a poner turbias por todos la arena levantada. Lleven su comida y todo, el precio es de 20 cordobas para nacionales y 3 dólares para extranjeros. Lo único malo que ví es que el acceso es muy tardado ya que es un calle de tierra muy accidentada y la distancia es bastante.

Off the beaten path, 11km dirt road to the entrance but an incredible swimming hole. Various small springs feed water into the beginning of a creek which then widens to form large pools of crystal clear water to swim in. The water is continuous forming a small river afterwards that many miles later enters the lake Cocibolca. The jungle like ambient, with howler monkeys, birds and awesome trees of all kinds and sizes make this a great adventure!

Es bonito ir en temporada baja donde no haya mucha gente. Les recomiendo llevar su propia agua y alimentos. Las aguas no son profundas a excepción de la zona más alejada que es como una desembocadura del río. En cuanto al acceso, es un camino de tierra a partir de la carretera panamericana cuyo viaje hasta el río puede tomar una hora de camino. La entrada tiene un costo de 20 córdobas.

Good place, but but needing improvement in roads highways

Amazing... it’s a spring that turns into a creek. There’s a branch of the creek that ends in this lagoon. The only problem is the excess of people that made it hard to enjoy the beauty of this place. Visitors don’t take care of this marvelous place. They need rules, trash bin for the tourists and investment in bathrooms. Ps: the roads to get there is good, better if you drive a truck. Something else that is hard to avoid, the flies, so annoying (not part of my rate)

Not crystal clear waters.

At the beginning the road is more for off road trucks, but the place is inside into the wood , a really contact with the nature.

Fantastic place, clear water and great weather.

Peaceful place to be at. The only thing you have to know is on weekends this place is full

Muy buen lugar para visitar

Primero que todo bonito el lugar. Segundo recomiendo ir en una temporada para que no se encuentren muchos zancudos eso sí fue lo peor . Mi grupo de trabajo no aguantaba estar ni 10 minutos por la cantidad excesiva de zancudos aunque lleváramos repelentes y todo. Podíamos salir con dengue no es por menos preciar la belleza pero hay que llegar en una temporada donde la cantidad de zancudos no sea excesiva. También que lleguen los del Minsa a Fumigar. saludos !!
