It is a good hotel. Serves good food, Mostly used by government offices nearby. The area around it may not look great, but once inside a very good place.

We went to Suryansh Hotel for a Corporate Party. Location was easy to find. Ambience was Nice. Our Party was at Roof Top (i.e. 4th Floor) which had a nice Pool. Though d pool seemed to be bit not well maintained, still enjoying Mocktails near Pool was pretty relaxing. (Note- Swimming wasn't allowed in d Pool.) Food was just Okies, nothing exceptional. There were more than 20 dishes so I could only try few centre of attraction like Paneer & Mushroom in veg n Mutton & Chicken in Non-veg. Nothing felt exceptional to my palate which bit disappointing considering dining at a 4Star Hotel. N few people serving food seemed to be not well trained too. Hand wash was empty in d washroom. Overall Service was not Good. Only good thing was d Ambience & DJ.

Nice place with lovely food. It's located a few hundred metres away from Kalinga Hospital square. It is mostly helpful in organising family functions like wedding, reception and birthdays

We must first understand that this is right in the heart of a bustling city...Hence the usual parking issues will always be there...The halls are moderate in size...So don't plan a conference or party larger than 250-300pax...Rest everything is SUPERB...🎉👌⭐♥️🤗🤩💕😊💞✔️👍 The food is awesome...For small get-togethers this could be just the ideal place...Feels cosy and located in the heart of the city...The food is awesome... Recently I stayed in Suryansh Hotels and Resorts, Bhubaneshwar and it was a good experience. The room service was great. Though the Breakfast menu was very limited could expertise having more menus. It's indeed a compact rooms catering to the business and family needs for individuals and family members. Absolutely absurd… we are supposed to stay in this so called star hotel but not even make the room and bed sheets dirty. The hotel reception charged me for cleaning the bed sheets as it seems the bed sheet was stained.. as if the staff are gynaecologists they assumed that my wife had her medical monthly periods which was in any case not there. Paying for cleaning is not a problem but giving this non sense reason is absolutely absurd. I guess the hotel policy is pay and sleep down on the floor without touching the bed and towels. Very wrong attitude. My request to hotel management is charge 5000 instead of 4500 but don’t give these biased reasons to take money.

Very poor with their commitments Recently we conducted a party their during the time of booking they said yes we ll provide u with all the amenities but soon after the payment is cleared they are so non cooperative very poor in their commitments. Especially Mr Nursingha (one of their staff) he committed us something but after the payments are done he refused to do so. I would suggest if any one conducts any function over here please keep everything in written along with the lift provision.

Everything is good except the food they serve.We had family get together in the 4th floor hall. But what they committed in the menu, not served. Food is just ok type. Than biggest backlash is the manager in charge is unavailable to contact neither he recieved call nor replied back. Customer commitment poor.

One of the worst properties I have ever seen in my professional career of 10 years being a business traveller. Staff especially the front desk team are highly unprofessional,ignorant & unsupportive.They juz follow their rule book as Bible & don't have the guts to support travellers some other way around. Service is extremely slow with no in house parking from the property(you need to park your vehicle at your own risk at the road adjacent)

Loved the cleanness maintained and services provided by staff. Food is excellent and prices reasonable. I frequently visit this place. There is no parking space available. You have to park your vehicle on road side opposite to hotel.

Location is serene. There's no sightseeing service nearby,just a peaceful location.food was ok but don't order chkn patiala . Biryani had too much of scented stuff in it.chkn lollipop seemed more like chkn pakoda.for starters they offer cheap fryums. I was so taken aback. And yeah it's not affordable but costly .and if food is not upto the mark of price then it doesn't leave a good feeling at the end.

The expertise n service delivery of Chef & his team was particularly exceptional. Keep it up. Room service n reception staff were no less very polite n caring even during odf hours . Stay blessed.

Horrible experience despite reaching to Front Office Manager !! Though a corporate customer, yet I couldn't manage to get a room rent invoice. All my mistake was to share an incorrect GST number (WB) and I was denied of a room rental invoice citing that I have done MMT booking. That too after personally contacting Front office person and their Manager by email. Will never visit again !!

Loved the antique architectural design of the hotel and rooms, room service were so helpful, food quality and service and taste was amazing. 10/10 would recommend it your looking for accommodation in odisha!

Location is the plus point of this property. Rooms are good but lighting condition should be improved so that people like me who are on official visit can work after dark. Current lighting condition is suitable for holidayers. Quality of toiletries should also be improved. I mean who provides lux soap and head and shoulders shampoo these days!!! All the staffs were courteous and helpful. Their restaurant serves very tasty foods!!!

Very good place for having celebration.. food is quite good .. location , ambiance all are perfect ... parking is on the road side yes its plenty but if it provide in house valet parking service for guests then it will be great

The hotel is really nice, the staff is co-operative, our stay was arranged here by MSAI for event at AIIMS. The hotel infrastructure is really good. The rooms are well lit, service is prompt, The rooms are aesthetic also. The location of the hotel is quite good and well near the main road. Kalinga hospital is nearby so the medical facility is also available. The only thing that made me give four star is the incident where the hotel staff provided me with the unsealed water bottles packed with normal tap water. I mean I could've paid extra for water if they had asked but they chose to provide the unsealed bottles, it might be due to unavailability issue but that thing nagged me. My overall stay there was quite happy one.

Non cooperative staffs... they don't even provide chairs to guests if the guests asks for after 11pm.. sorry had a very bad experience in my brother's Sangeet as I was late....

I booked a Standard room for my Family through makemytrip. Had a miserable experience during 2 nights stay. 1st there was no parking. We parked the car on the road side, 2nd day that was also full. Renovation work was going on so entire day there was noise.I was so tired but could not take a nap. The AC was not working so they offered me to change the room in the night to a deluxe room ( though there was no visible difference in room category). Next day morning again they asked me to shift another standard room. The swimming pool was not in working condition. 2nd night there was a holi celebration party which went on till midnight with loud music. The hotel didn't bother to inconvenience to other guests. Top of all these the hotel asked me to pay extra money for my 7 year old kid who wS already included in the booking.

Very poor service, neither the hotel manager nor the waiter is bothered about customer service, you order a food and you wait for an hour to get the food served, finally the customers are seen to be collecting food items from the kitchen entrance,really pathetic service, earlier they were good at it,however food is ok.

I always treat this place as a little cousin of Mayfair hotels :-) The decor, ambiance & services are way too similar in a smaller way. Service & food are above average. I would have gone with 3 stars but additional one star for their pricing. Reasonable indeed!

You would love some of the staff, they really mean their jobs and like it here. And some of them look like they’re in their notice, forever. The ambience holds you to the ground too, it’s neat! But the food, gosh! It hits your nerve at not being good at all. Do not try anything here in terms of food experiments!

Rude & pathetic behaviour of front desk staff and lady manager was just horrible with us. Hotel runs on almost full occupancy that doesn't give them licence to be rude with guest. Be more polite & humble

It is the worst hotel I have ever been in. The staffs are rude to the guests. The manager is an exploiter , he literally extorts money from innocent people ( who are new in town). Rooms are dark, dingy and shady. Room service is not good. Never never ever step in or plan to book anything in this hotel , beginning they will act all sweet and later they create ruckus and nuisance for the guests. Please take my advice. Your welcome 🙏

Food is good but rooms are very small and no workstation provided., No room sleeper, Very small Tolet with tiles..not non skidding.....and price is almost same with good hotels....In Breakfast- they are removing kind of items from menu, instead of reducing quantity.... Really not good Experiance....

We went to theor for a birthday party and their service is very poor as compair of a normal hotel...I entered at 9 pm and leave from there 11pm, in between 2 hour they able to serve only masala pampad,roti & chicken... after order I wait minimum 1 hour and they showed they are very busy on their work .

Had a wonderful experience. Rooms, banquet halls, service everything is good. We had a pleasant time.

We stayed two days in hotel and enjoyed buffet to dinner and accomidation. CSE,New Delhi organised a workshop for media here. Especially veg recipes are delicacies and staff are friendly behaviour ..All the best.

Average Experience. Management can improve on Service. B/f was below average, not going with hotel rating.
