I was born in Fiji so I know how amazing this place is. If you’re a tourist, please leave your resort and come and see the real Fiji. A beautiful place, where you can see the food, culture and history blended into the land. ❤️ fresh food, no frills, quality, organic, spices, sweets. We live on island time. If you’re concerned about your safety, maybe do your research first; it’s more likely Fiji’s safer than the country you’re coming from

Everyone visiting Fiji should go for a walk through these markets. IT IS SAFE. Its busy, lots of locals, noise and smells ... But, you'll get to see some of the "real" Fiji rather than your hotel, resort or island paradise. I've given it 5 stars for its authenticity, and educational value. It costs nothing but your time and effort to go for a walk around these markets. These are THE local markets the Fijian people use to buy their food and Kava. One shed is for Kava, the other is fresh food and produce. Combined these sheds cover an area bigger than a football field. The locals are more than happy to answer questions and tell you about their produce. Some really interesting items to both learn about and taste. Just remember to take some $1 and $2 coins so you can pay a small amount to try some of the fresh fruits and vegetables. The pineapples are very very delicious! If you then want even more local experience, go out the back of the markets to the "bus depot" and catch a local, no windows, old banger bus. It will cost you $1 to go to the airport, or $2 to go around to Lautoka. Make a day of it and see the real Fiji.

Farmers from the region gather their fresh growth produces to sell in this market. Saturday is the best day of the week to visit as the market is jam packed with vendors with their produces. You will find that most fruits and vegetables in this market are not available in Australia. If you enjoy visiting local markets to see what they have, then Nadi market is for you. An hour is sufficient to cover the market. Note that it gets really hot during midday.

Lots of shops to walk around and buy trinkets to take home. Lots of fruits and vegetables to choose from. Be prepared to have your temperature taken and wear a mask in any store you walk into.

Nadi Town Market is full of vegetables and fruits. The prices are reasonable. Yes costs of these items has gone up but compare with stuff in supermarket. The famers work very hard and they deserve the price. Happy marketing.

Great market, lots of produce as well as fresh juice (which was refreshing, because it was hot!). There's an entire section dedicated to kava ingredients.

Great to walk around and see all the local fruit and vegetable available. People are friendly to talk with however pick pockets target tourists so keep your bags closed and pockets empty. I'd buy fruit that you can peel to keep on the safe side.

We enjoyed our trip to Nadi Market! A must go for fresh fruits and vegetables. The vendors are nice and they offer great prices and even gave us discounts. It’s a safe place wherein I do not see any beggars begging on the streets and people are all busy doing their own stuff. A must-visit for tourist and get your fresh fruits here. Their bananas is a must buy fruit. Ask the vendor for aa sweet banan and they’ll give you a sample to taste.

There is a sugarcane juice stall there. You can enjoy the most natural sugarcane drink. We also bought Roti with curry chicken, roti with corn beef, roti with tuna and roti with mince beef at the market at very cheal price range from Fiji dollar 1.50 to 2.50. Very tasty. Recommended to try!
