I loved the experience here. I wanted my family to experience luxury dining so decided to take them here on Dashami. There are many sections of the restaurant, you can request them to be seated on one. They will oblige if seat is available. Coming to the food... I enjoyed them a lot! Especially the Korean fried chicken bun. The cocktails were also good. My mother didn't particularly like anything. It's mainly because of the taste. Their taste is more authentic and may not suit the indian palate so be careful when taking someone there. I loved the food and would recommend someone to go there only when you are open to tasting something different. The price is a bit high. But, if you want to experience luxury dining you should be ready to spend that much or else order efficiently. The servers were well versed with the menu and gave recommendations.

PaPaYa is an upscale Asian cuisine restaurant and serves pretty delicious dishes. We tried dumplings, Bao, sushi 🍣 and noodles. All of them were good. The quantity might be an issue for foodies who are habituated with city vfm restaurants (self retrospective). Would definitely recommend it if you like Asian cuisine. Note: The restaurant is situated on the top floor and you can get a beautiful view of the city. The entry is a bit confusing.

A nice fine dining restaurant. We got the nasi Goreng there, WORTH trying it. I liked it so much and I'll be going back there just for it. We took the mochi ice cream as well, a good one. Nice ambience but sadly couldn't be seated in the main area as there was a birthday party going on there

One of the best place in Kolkata for the Asian cuisine. Ambience is really good, along with the view, staffs are well behaved too. They also provide welcome shot before starters. We have tried dumplings, Bao, sushi. Sushi turned out to be good , this place serves one of the best sushi. Actually all the food was delicious. Overall, I had a great experience at paPaYa

Papaya is best described as an upscale dining restaurant. The ambience is really amazing, and the servers are very courteous. Coming to the food, they serve a wide range of Asian delicacies you won't find anywhere in the city. You should definitely try the mochi ice cream here! Overall, a perfect place to chill and gorge on food :)

Ambience is really good, staffs are well behaved too. Location is awesome, someone can enjoy a great view of park Street and howrah bridge from the window glass. They provide 2 welcome shot ,one before starters another one before main course, they offer delivery too. They have good collection of mocktail or soft drinks. Price is a bit high as per taste but quantity was good

Loved the chic interior, you can also reserve earlier to get a window side sit. The food was perfectly cooked and the Sushi was the best. Also tried the efu noodles and braised chicken which tasted good but the quantity was a little less. Must try - California Rolls

Upscale place , I have found the best sushi of Kolkata here only. They have the best wasabi paste to serve with the sushi. Interior is very soothing , fine dine setup. Nice view from window.

I won't be able to say enough about this place. From the drinks, tapas, to main course to sushi everything was perfect. It's a upscale place so it's not exactly pocket friendly. But if you are trying to celebrate this is the best place to be for Asian food. Please definitely try to cocktails. They are amazing.

Restaurant serves authentic Asian Dishes. Prices are on the higher side. I will suggest donot go there with a budget constraint because you will fall in love with their sushi dishes and you will desire to eat more which will make a hole in your pocket then. Wantons, pad thai noodles and chicken dishes were superb. Don't forget they will tempt you more with their complementary litchi sorbet and watermelon starter. The service is fast they won't keep you waiting and the waiters approach to guests are polite. I had a overall good experience there.

This place is an absolute wonder. Usually I find amazing food not in a fine dining setting but this place changed a bit of that. Yes the food is a little over priced but MY GOD! it's worth it. For people trying to have Sake don't take the sparkling one , it's actually nothing. The red snapper could complete our good old bhetki and damn that's huge. Their chili pork, baos, dumplings are absolutely to die for. You try anything from the menu and you will not be disappointed.

Nasi Goreng(non veg)- approx Rs 600 for non veg came with 2 sticks of sautΓ© chicken( which had a thai red sauce and coconut mixed flavour),prawn crackers, rice with prawn, and salad. Overall amazing taste Crab and scallop ravioli: I had never tasted scallop before, and honestly I couldn't differentiate it from crab meat. Came in a bowl of soup kind of thing. Rating 3.5/5 Modern sushi (alaska): made of salmon, avocado If you are trying sushi for the first time, you can try this. There's a pamphlet on the table that explains how to eat sushi. (One acquires taste for sushi over time,so if it's your first time you might not like it...)

The ambience of the restaurant is amazing especially the view is awesome because it is on the 11th floor. We ordered chicken dimsum, nasi goreng and a prawn dish. The dimsum was soft and juicy with a thin layer of the outer covering. It was almost similar to hargao. The Nasi Goreng comes with many options, we tried the chicken one. The taste was very good just like it should be. The side dish was prawn and it tasted amazing. Note: All dishes were less spicy. If you need more spice then please inform them before hand. Apart from that we got two complimentary dishes, one was watermelon with chili basil oil smoke and an ice cream palette cleanser. The watermelon dressing comes at the beginning after you order your food and the ice cream comes after the first course. Pocket pinch is 1000 a person. I wanted to try sushi but could not since, the person accompanying me wasnt fond of sushi. Service is little slow.

Food: 5/5 Service 5/5 While the restaurant sits in an uninspiring building, on culinary terms, Papaya is exquisite. For appetizers, we had the chicken and avocado tacos (so good we reordered it for the main course). The pork Shumai was decent as well. The only mediocre item was the tuna sashimi, which lacked great flavor. For mains, we had the chicken pad thai, which was VERY good. The chicken crystal was solid, and our other highlight was the Xiao Long Bao. For dessert, the Mielle Fuelle was very tasty, and the mochi ice cream had some good highlights (mainly the strawberry) The various palate cleanser were also very enjoyable. Overall, one of the best pure food experiences I've had in Kolkata. Service was great and the waiter knew the menu well. The meal is definitely not cheap, but if you're wanting a uniquely tasty fine dining experience that will leave you satisfied but not stuffed, hard to best

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! If you have the money, you must go. However, do keep in mind this is a fine dining restaurant and the quantity of food per plate might disappoint you, but be sure that the quality of food and service won't.

It was a wonderful experience! I explore places solo. So I took a seat for one. But I would love to mention that the group dining areas are just amazing in ambience. Since I was alone, I ordered the Bento non-veg combo. Non-veg comes as two combos- one based on chicken @699/- and the other based on prawn @799/- I went for the chicken one, since I haven't tried Asian cuisine much and I had no idea how a prawn based asian meal would taste. Please check the menu provided, to know the combo or other items in detail. Ambience is amazing. Staff behaviour is very polite. They are more than ready to help you. Just no complaints. First, I got a piece of water melon as refreshment food. Then, chicken soup, followed by the bento non-veg meal. The foods tasted fresh, nicely made with a perfect blend of flavours. I had tried asian cuisine in Ajisai before. This one today felt quite different and nice. Portion is normal, or a little less. One notable thing is that, even though it's fine dining and prices are on the higher side, it's pretty affordable. If you are willing to spend, visit here once. Asian dining is not very widely available, so it's bit pricey but even though the dish here was absolutely amazing and I cannot point out any shortcomings, I do genuinely feel that the bento non-veg combo is probably worth within 500/-, and 699/- is a bit high price. There are washrooms. Alcohol is available. Other drinks are available too. There is a balcony. One can see the 1st and 2nd bridge from there. Staff behaviour is very appreciable. I asked if I could take home my unused chopstick and the guy happily gave me 3 more chopsticks. It made my day ❀ Addition: visited the place for the 2nd time with my friends, and had salmon cheese sushi, Braised lamb jiaozi, cha sui pork bao. Salmon cheese sushi tasted amazing. However, I felt it's overpriced to have 4 sushi at Rs 575. Cha sui pork bao was normal. Nraised lamb jiaozi felt like a money waste because it tasted very similar to momos from wow momo etc. I really donot recommend 4 pieces of joaozi at that price. I have felt the bento meal to be a much affordable choice.

Brilliant place at 11th floor with beautiful setup. Food quality is good and they ensure you relish it rather than eat the food. Service is good here, polite behavior. I stopped in on 22nd of OCT 2023 in the evening with friends and family. Had a great time there and am looking forward to visit again. Yes it might seem the food and drinks are priced on the higher side but you have to consider the place where they are located. Overall I would rate the place 9.5 out of 10.

A complete family resto-bar. Food delicious. Tried Twice cook pork belly, fragrant ohu, Rock shrimp tempura, lamp oyster, fragrant crispy chilly sea food fried rice. Cocktail - Trash Can (great), flapper girl (avg). The ambiance is excellent Service is outstanding. Note.: check for the OPTIONABLE service charge, in invoice which is not mandatory to pay , which is 10% of the bill. I repeat it is not a tip to those who serve you, but extra optional bill. Thanks

We made an impromptu plan to go for lunch and headed to PaPaYa. We didn't have a table booking but had gone early in the afternoon, so got space easily. Before we got the starters, we got the Amuse House palette cleanser, it was interesting, to say the least. A surprising burst of flavours and a piece of watermelon. For our starters we ordered 2 kinds of sushi, a Boston roll and a red dragon maki, both were perfect. The soy sauce was not overwhelming, so it complimented the wasabi quite nicely. We also ordered a soft shell crab salad. The crabs were fried to perfection and were super fresh and spicy. For our main course, we ordered a lamb spicy oyster, efu noodles with chicken and a seafood Khao pad kar pao. Before it arrived, we were given a litchi sorbet palette changer. It definitely was. Sweet and cold, it snapped us out of the taste we'd experienced with the starters. I can keep talking about the main course too, but I'll keep it short here. Everything was perfect. The only thing that didn't work for us was the dance music playing in the middle of the day at a rather loud volume, which distracted us from conversation. Towards the end of our lunch the music did change and was much better. Special mention of the staff, super polite and helpful. Our server had answers to all our questions and patiently waited as we argued over what to order.

A great place to enjoy Asian cuisine in Kolkata. Located in Park Street area, this place has a good ambiance to it. The staffs were courteous and very helpful. Foods were delicious. Cocktails were great. There is also a smoking zone in the balcony, from where the view is amazing. Overall a great place for enjoying Asian food with your family, friends and loved ones.

This place is situated on Camac street 11th Floor. It has an amazing view of Central Kolkata. The staffs are courteous. And food tasted yummy. But the food will definitely pinch your pocket. Not your staple Mocambo or Peter cat.. Overall perfect for a date night.

We tried tapas, baos, momos, noodles, ramen & sauteed items. All the food was cooked to precision. Really good quality and presentation. Mustaq really helped us navigate through all the different food items, guided us and took the brief of exactly how we wanted the food customized. The crowd was a bit noisy & I wish the restaurant was bigger but overall it was a great experience.

It was my boyfriend’s birthday celebration when we went there and to my dismay, they refused to play the happy birthday music or give him a complimentary cake! At least This little much was expected from a fine dining restaurant where we did spent approx 4K INR. I’m very upset about this because earlier when we called and reserved our seats, the manager promised to give us a small complementary cake & play some background music. Also they won’t give you even a tiny bit of accompaniment like some extraBeetroot & carrot noodles upon asking, saying rudely, β€œmadam that’s not included, we don’t give such extra!” But the food there was really excellent I personally loved the prawn Sui Mai, Prawn sushi and chicken cheung fun, & I strongly recommend the chocolate ball on fire and Pad Thai Noodles that’s very delicious. The decor and vibe of the restaurant is amazing but their staff behaviour and these extra services should have been a bit better. Overall I like the food so I’m gonna go next time, solely for the yummy food there, especially the sushi β€˜s 🍱

This restaurant is situated on the 11th floor of a high rise building in park street opposite Hard Rock Cafe. It describes itself as a Modern Asian Bistro and more than lives up to that name through it's ambience and delicious food. We ordered Braised Lamb Xiao Long Bao (Soupy Dim Sum), Chicken Yaki Udon Noodles and Sichuan Style Rubbed Minced Pork from their extensive menu. All items were delicious and the dim sum was particularly impressive. The feel of this place is in stark contrast to the Old Calcutta nostalgia of well known Park Street Eateries like Peter Cat, Mocambo and Trincas. However it is carving out a niche in it's own right. Recommended for those who want to try something new.

😐 Simply come here for the atmosphere and history. Nothing should be eaten here. Cold coffee was a letdown. It was cold water that had been sweetened with a pinch of coffee.
