Authentic Bengali cuisine. Good food. Very reasonable price. Ambience isn’t its best aspect, but they’ll make up for it through warmth of hospitality. Try the Veg thali, that’s been remarkable. Didn’t quite enjoy their chicken prep. Nalen gurer payesh (dessert) had the promise, but turned out to be too heavy for me. Parking challenge is a common issue in the area if you happen to drive.

This place is just awesome to try Bengali cuisine at a very economical rate!!! I always order their chicken meal which comprises of Dal+Rice+Aloo Bhaja+Labra Torkari+Chicken Curry+Chatni And do try the Bhetki Paturi!!With steamed rice.Its a match made in heaven!

This is a restaurant where you can get restaurant style Bengali cuisine at pretty affordable prices. Ambiance and decor is ok!! Presentation is good. A la Carta items perfect according to the quality, quantity and taste. Different Thalis are available at affordable prices but quality of the items can be improved. One more thing which needs a special mention Asking for extra rice, Dal and sabji in Thali if needed is totally free of cost. Lovely people. Behavior is very good.

This Bengali restaurant is located at Lake Market, just opposite to Prema Vilas and it is one of my favourites when it comes to authentic Bengali cuisine. Usually, me and my mother go there during the afternoon to have meals. The quality and the quantity both are awesome, every time. If you go there, do not miss the following : Kolkata Fish Fry, Chicken Meal, Mutton meal and the varieties of fish curry that they serve. Any thali will come with good quality white rice, daal, jhuri alu bhaja, veg of the day, chutney and your choice of fish/meat/egg. The rice, veg curry, daal, alu bhaja and chutney will have unlimited servings. An egg thali would cost you 120 INR which will have 2 eggs. Chicken meal comes at 300 INR while Mutton meal would come at 350 INR. Often, they would have a good collection of desserts and mishti. Do try them. The owner is an old lady who take care of each table personally and the people who serves the food are too good at their work.

The food is really good there, it's lite and easy to digest and it is also affordable and pocket friendly, I would visit once again
