Nice ambience with great hospitality! Had the very famous Mutton Thali, the mutton gravy was delicious, mutton was bit chewy. The veg item could have tasted better but overall nice experience!

Ambiance was good and the table servers were polite as well. In starters we had Prawn Cutlet which was just amaaaaaaziiinggg.Then we ordered 3 non veg thali and 1 Mutton thali...in those items almost every items were delicious but we personally liked that Echor Chingri which had finger licking taste... Mutton was soft but taste was good not the best...ala carte we took Paturi which was the worst one. Except this we also ordered Kachalonka dhonepata murgi which was good.

I had the pleasure of dining at 6 Ballygunge Place Thali recently and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience. The Mutton- Bhetki thalis (625/-) were absolutely delicious, and the Nolen gurer ice cream (150/-) was a top notch dessert. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the staff were so friendly, and the food was simply outstanding. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great dining experience.

Went here for an anniversary lunch. It's mainly a thali restaurant by 6th Ballygunge place. We had 6 mutton Thali's and 1 Iilish Thali. The welcome drinks are free with Thali's and different welcome drinks are scheduled for different days. There were 6 different item's in the Thali's (all were unlimited) and Lucchi and rice too. Also, a sweet is complimentary. The quality of the food weren't as extraordinary here as people assume or consider about 6th Ballygunge place. Mutton was good mainly boneless and the Iilish fish was of good quality either. We also had "Gondhoraj chicken" which is just tossed with "Gondhoraj lebu". Good experience overall! 🙂✌️

I'm a big Bengali food lover and so I went to this thali restaurant at a friend's recommendation. Kasundi fish fry was amazing. So yummy that I rate it 11/10. I ordered prawn and the prawn was not that fresh. However, the chicken thali that we ordered was good. I went with a lot of expectations because this place seems to be well known. But im not very happy because of unfresh prawn and the fresh chilly they brought seems to look like from the last serving coz I saw dal curry spread in chilly so I was a bit disgusted. Other than that, the food served was generous and the price was reasonable. Overall I rate thali 7/10. Hope this review helps.

When I think of Bengali non veg thali food, the first thing that comes to mind is 6 Baliganj Place Thali. Every items from Starter to Dessert Including Main Course are Top Notch. Mouthwatering Dab chingri, mutton kosha and nolen gurer icecream are incomparable. The stuffs are very professional and helpful. Also prices are affordable. If you are planning to have a bengali thali, I would suggest you to visit this restaurant with no second thought

All I can say is that I had a great time with my friends, had to line up for a bit to enter the restaurant but the wait was worth it. The service is very good, staff's behavior is also very good and for the food, it was delicious. The best option I'd obviously say the thali. It's a very nice place to have lunch with family and friends.

Went there with my family to have lunch around 2:30pm and the place was quite packed up, maybe because it was weekend, so we had to wait outside for 15 mins. Service was promt and staff were quite courteous. They asked us a few times if we needed anything else and if food was good. Coming to the food, we had a bhetki thali (325 rs + GST) and two mutton thali (355 rs+ GST). Besides the non-veg item in the thali and the sweet of the day ( which was pantua today) you can repeat other items as many times as you like. Other items were common for both the type of thalis - Rice, Luchi, daal, vegetables of the day (for today- alur dom, doi potol, dhokar dalna), chutney, papad. All thalis come with a welcome drink (gondhoraj ghol). Food was really great. Mutton pieces were tender and bhetki fish was fresh. The food was not very spicey and had that authentic Bengali touch. Overall I really enjoyed my family lunch there and would definitely recommend it to everyone. Happy eating! :)

We searched and went to this place that specifically serves authentic Bengali style thali meals. We were definitely not disappointed. Most of the items on the thali were vegetarian though we ordered for all 3 types - chicken, mutton and fish thali. Tasty and yummy food. Well cooked meat. Adequate quantities and reasonably priced too.

Being a first timer to this place, I thought of trying out a thali which would be sufficient for a person with a lot of varieties. We ordered a chicken and two mutton thalis, which included luchi, aloo dum, rice, dal, dhokar dalna, dherosh shorshe, jhuri aloo bhaja, mutton kosha, khejur chutney, gulab jamun and a lassi as a welcome drink. The quantity was decent but mutton preparation was certainly disappointing. The mutton could have been softer. The overall experience was pretty good otherwise. :)

Good place for trying out bengali cuisine. Although the taste of drinks can be improved, the dishes like daab chingri, potol , mutton kosha and nolengur ice cream tasted really good .

One of the best food junction near kasba,we are mesmerized with the ambiance of the place,the restaurant stuffs were very polite and sober,their behaviour was very nice,the dishes were superb and very tasty,we tried bhetki thali ,and dab chingri which is the signature item of this place,do visit here to full your appetite

Good restaurant for a sumptuous Bengali lunch with Fish, Chicken or Mutton Thali options along with an array of different bengali dishes to choose from, all with adequate proportions. Service and food were great. Each thali is accompanied by a welcome drink (Gondhoraj Ghol) which tastes heavenly.

What a awesome place it is to have some kolkata special thali with all the fish and masho. We loved kosho manghso with luchi, kalta roasted which have gravy on it, daab chingri(very unique), I just can’t get over the taste even after month. People do must try out this joint, it is a chain across kolkata and it is worth every single penny. It cost us around 1700 for three people and we all had quiet a amount of food. They have different options for Thali with only fish or only meat

The food was delivered cold (like just out of the fridge)....never ever in my life I have seen any restaurant serving cold food... As well as the 'murshidabad chicken fry' of rs 105 was like 🤢🤮🤢🤮 it was so bad dont ever order...the branch of 6 ballygunge place in sakher bazar has demolished the pride of the latter. WE HAVE ORDERES TWICE THE SAME DAY AND TWO TIMES THE SAME EXPERIENCE..😶😶😶😶😶

Went with lot of expectations but unfortunately it turned out to be a very bad experience may be today due to puja rush they messed up with the quality as well as service though its not expected from them ....quality of prawn was very bad infact they replaced it after i complained....mutton was stiff....forgot to serve papad in our table ...serving was late seems they were operating with less manpower....however staff behavior was good

Food quality is very good, Period. We took 1 Fish Thali, 1 Chicken Thali, 1 Bhetki Fish Fry and 1 Bhetki Chingri Paturi. The Katla in the Fish Thali was a bit off, it tasted not like fresh Fish but Iced(Frozen Fish 15-20kg fish that's imported from Andhrapradesh). Chicken Thali was tasty and so was the Bhetki Fry ( A Must Try) . Rice ,dal and alu dum are unlimited rest limited. Overall good and service is top notch, well mannered service guys.

For some people who live nearby any rail station, he/she can get off at Ballygunge Junction and then take an auto from the bridge end directly to 6BP. The place was good . The foods were very nice . The service was also very good . But if you are going compare between some restaurants then you will see that the cost is not soo cheap , as they will provide unlimited "rice,daal and alo dom" which you can't consume in huge amount . So basically one should think it this way that like Mutton thali(2pc mutton) is for rs475 . Don't think that you will get each and every item as many time as you want. Overall this is a good restaurant to spend quality time with your loved one with some good food in quiet reasonable price .( I won't say absolutely reasonable but yes it is quite reasonable which will vary from person to person). Also the service was great. They will ask you several times if you need anything else and won't hesitate to give you the unlimited items again and again. The best part is everything is served in bronze plates which give it a very classy look. I will definitely recommend you to go for at least once to spend time there and have your desired items. We had Mutton thali and add on "thin potato fry "(which was rs50 ) and in the final bill you have to pay 5% gst. Bon Appetit !!

Fish Fry (Boneless preparation) ✓Clean, hygienic and spacious place. ✓ You can reach here in a car the place is on a broad road. Easy access. ✓ Taste flavor and presentation of food is amazing. ✓ One can ask for boneless options. ✓ Even the mukhwas (mouth freshner) served at the end is amazing. ✓ A good place for a first timer. ✓ Kid Friendly place. Family diner. ✓ Amazing Vegetarians options available, as i had vegetarian dishes in Thali and they are also relishing. ✓ Tomato Chutney with papad and luchi is a delight. OVERALL : A must go place.

A place that serves bengali food with modern touch. First, the ambience was nice, small but nice with a large landscape photo of Hogg's market. We ordered a thali that included a welcome drink (Ghol gondhoraj), Luchi, Rice Daal, Aloo dum, Veg Kofta, Potol bhaja, Jhuri Aloo bhaja, mutton, papad, chatni, kalo jam, misti doi/nolen gur er ice cream. Food waz so delicious I cannot explain. The ice cream was mouth-wateringly tasty. Will go back for that. The waiting stuff was very nice and took order carefully and was generous with servings. The only downside is that the place is a little too small, have your reservation and you are good, but at hasty hours you may not get a table. The tables are for 4 people, 6 people may cause feel a little crowded. Recommended.

Such a horrible test of all food( every thali and every dishes ) just pathetic experience.uff dal if I'm telling about dal then there is nothing else expect hot water. All are tasteless dishes.

The food was horrible, to add on the worst experience the behaviour of the manager was very bad. He was being biased between well off families and young customers. Even he lied for not having aloo fry instead of brinjal fry, as we were allergic to brinjal we asked for aloo fry which was included in the thali. He lied to us telling aloo fry wasn't there. Then we confirmed from another waiter and said by him that aloo fry remains everyday and was present in adequate quantity even then. He behaved very bad with us. The food was not at all the worth.

Yesterday me and my husband visited that restaurant. Trust me I'm fallen love with this restaurant. Foods quality and quantity both are fabulous. Specially the mutton kosha! What a taste!! The ambiance of this restaurant gives an authentic taste of Kolkata. Not only foods but also their behaviour towards customer really appreciable. And they served "gorom gorom fulko luchi" "gorom gorom begun vaja potol vaja"! In the pandemic situation they maintained really well. Really had an awesome experience.

Very poor service for carry out options. Quantity provided is extremely less . Less than 50 ml chicken curry was provided even after ordering 2 bowls of Chicken Jhol. All other item quantities were equally less.

I had visited the Kasba branch, it's a small outlet with two floors. We had ordered for starters, non-veg thali as a main course n dab chingri as a special dish. Must say, it was delicious n worth the prices charged. Dab chingri is a must have here.

Never visit there ,the attitude of staff is like that they are paying for your food. Thali we took ,they never ask about next item.Service is extremely poor. They have attitude problem, needs good counselling and training. The staffers to be told that by serving customers they are not doing obligatory job. Third class service....

Very bad experience...I ordered 10 thali from the restaurant to celebrate the bijaya dashami with family members... I was ashamed when served the food...The polao was not fresh and bad smell coming out ,other items also not up to the mark... very worst service...
