You guys might not have heard about is C/o Bangali! πŸ™ Specialists in typical Bengali Food, they also have a vast North Indian and Chinese Options β˜ƒοΈ But come-on, is Bengali cuisine all about fishes? NO! I will talk about the Vegetarian Dishes we got. Bengalis love Rice! It's their staple and if the rice is not perfect, the deal will surely not make through. The steamy rice was optimally cooked, beginning the review on a promising note. Basanti Pulao was simply majestic, be it the colour or taste, I cherished every bite! Shukto, a classical mix veg Bengali dish with poppy seeds base, is THE favourite vegetarian dish of most Bengalis. (Not mineπŸ₯΄) I ain't a huge fan, but this tasted better than the most.

I have visited this place 5times over many years and everytime it has been a delightful experience. Usually the quality of food deteriorates during pujo because of so much rush. But this place is an exception everytime, this is the second time I visited this place during pujo and I wasn't disappointed. The quantity and taste both were so good. They serve thalis during pujo and it's shareable. Most importantly they allow you to parcel the leftover, which is not allowed everywhere when you order a thali. During normal time as well, their starters are as good as their main course. Their food is worth every penny. It's a must visit.

Food quantity is upto the mark, ambience is also good. We had taken the biryani combo of 249, the mutton chaps are hard to chew at first after that the replaced that with new one and the chicken biryani is very much oily. Average food taste but the service and atmosphere was very friendly

A overall good restaurant located at Hatibagan, Kolkata. They provide good food. Service is also okay. Their atmosphere ia very nice. From the restaurant, you can see all the area of Hatibagan at one go. Among all the dishes, what I really like is their Prawn roll. You also really love it. Price is also reasonable at this restaurant.

I visited there twice...both the times had a great experience. We ordered the special combo offers and some additional things.. all the items were really good both in quality and quantity. The first time I had visited just the Chicken curry had a little strong flavour of rose water but didn't taste too bad it was fine...except for that everything was good. Their service is nice too. They accept both online, card and cash. It is somewhat difficult to find the restaurant as it is a very narrow staircase right beside the roll corner. But maps is there to guide you. I would surely recommend this place to whoever reading the review. You should also try their Chicken Do peyaja. I would revisit for sure!

Methinks I shouldst provide a comprehensive account of mine recent visit to "Care of Bengali" in Hatibagan, for it had its merits and demerits. In fairness, the victuals did delight the palate, for the quality and quantity of fare were commendable. The flavors were rich, and the portions ample, a glimmer of hope in an otherwise dim experience. Yet, the shadows of dissatisfaction loomed large. The service was, alas, slower than molasses in January, causing our patience to wane. The menu card, on paper as thin as a reed, did not befit an establishment of repute and bespoke a lack of care. Furthermore, the atmosphere was densely populated, akin to a market square during a festival, making it nigh impossible to dine in peace. The confines of the space and the din of the crowd disrupted any chance of a serene repast. Thus, "Care of Bengali" revealed itself as a mixed bag, where the food shone as a bright spot in an otherwise dimly lit establishment, with its tardy service, delicate menu card, and bustling ambiance dampening the overall experience.

We ordered- Bhetki chingrir melbandhan-4.5/5 ( highly recommended ) Sundari chicken- 4/5 Special mutton biriyani- 4/5 Fresh lime soda My experience was decent but only Suggestion is the portion of biryani less according to the price.

Amazing food expirience .. Nice place to visit and dine .. At North Kolkata .. Order takes time to be delivered .. So it's advisable to order all at a single time .. Lunch time crowd is mostly from 1pm onwards .. Weekends are preety crowded .. So plan by 12pm .. Paid Parking can be done closeby near Hatibagan Market .. It's a good place to try out some delicious food starting from Bengali to Chinese and Mughlai .. (Out of the menu Thai food is also available) just enquire the service person .. He will respond accordingly .. Bon Appetite..

A multicuisine Bengali restaurant situated at hatibagan zing. You can enjoy the traffic through a bird eye views while enjoying your foods. Amongst the best item, samudra biriyani and sundari chicken are unparallal.

C/o Bengali was used to be a true hidden gem at Hatibagan. But now their service and management became really pathetic. They will serve you drinking water after 10 to 15 mins also after repetitive request. And they take minimum 30 mins to serve food after your order. Now coming to Food. Food although is super tasty. Specially "Sundari Chicken" , "Cox Bazar Murgi", "Fish Finger", "Mutton Dakbungalow" But quantity is not so sufficient according to price. Nice and cozy ambience.

It was less crowded paid a visit on the Christmas evening with family. Nice ambience and cosy place but like pros it has some absolute cons first the servicing it is poor and in other hand the food it takes too much of time to be served. We had Pan fried mixed Noodles,Mutton Curry and Rumali roti.

My gastronomic encounter at this establishment, to put it mildly, was a confluence of both delight and despair. A most vexing issue was the protracted delay in the presentation of our repast, a lamentable circumstance that left us ensnared in culinary anticipation. Moreover, the ambience was rendered overwhelmingly populous, eroding any semblance of serenity. To compound these tribulations, the service exhibited a lamentable lethargy, a veritable hindrance to the gastronomic appreciation I had earnestly aspired to. In sum, the cuisine, while potentially commendable, was overshadowed by the disconcerting protraction of delivery, the madding crowd, and the languid ministrations of the staff, constituting a vexing repast, marred by the interplay of these irksome elements.

Located at the hatibagan more, this place offers excellent bangali cuisine. The service is too slow which is an inconvenience but the good behavior of the staffs makes up for that. The food is truly amazing and price is a little on the higher end according to quantity. But quality of food is great. The fish pulao and mutton lababdar is a must try, I would add.

Food quality is very good, Cost of the food item is high though. Waiting period is too high to eat at 12-3pm time. Each item is available here whatever you want to eat.. Very Good Restaurant and overall atmosphere NiceπŸ₯° Staffs are good in behavior.

C/o Bangali is a very famous and popular for it's bengali cuisine. It is located just opposite to star theater. Ambience of this place is very nice with beautiful wooden structures and chair tables and lots of wall hanging which all related our bengali culture. This place is spacious and they have seating arrangement of more or less 30 people at once. Quantity and quality of each item was enough and upto the mark. Service is little slow and staffs are courteous and helped us to choose the right item. Prices are appropriate according to the quality and quantity of food.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Recently visited this place and trust me, it was worth every penny. The ambiance was great. We had Mutton Chello Kebab. The kebabs were very juicy and tender, I couldn't stop drooling! 😐 Simply come here for the atmosphere and history. Nothing should be eaten here. Cold coffee was a letdown. It was cold water that had been sweetened with a pinch of coffee.
