Good quality Food and sweets. Taste wise also it is good. You will not be disappointed with food and sweets. A bit expensive but definitely worth the money. It is crowded on morning of weekends. If you are going to have food and experience the services it is recommended to go on weekdays. It is quite possible that you won't get a table on weekends. Quite a good menu. Polite staff as well. Definately a good place to have breakfast.

Perfect place to enjoy some good vegetarian snacks. Served amazing dosa, kachoris, samosas and sandwiches. Chai is really good. We went there during breakfast hours. People were seated outside the food joint. We took our seats inside. Decor was minimal and good. Juices served were fresh. Dont miss their jalebis.

A decent vegeterian breakfast joint near Salt Lake swimming pool which serves good food at decent prices. Tjis place gets quite crowded on weekends. There is a proper restaurant on the first floor. The wait time depends on the type of food you order. Dhoklas and kachoris are served the fastest. Lassi us also a must try.

Best place for breakfast after a morning walk, or just to start your day with a luscious meal, Gupta Brothers is the go to place. I tried the kachori subzi (5 small kachoris and aalo subzi), veg cheese grilled sandwich served with both tomato sauce and mint chutney and of course tried the pot tea which soothes the throat. Sweet lassi, dhoklas and dosas were also on demand. Recommended to sit outside for breakfast and enjoy the fresh air.

The food is really very delicious. There are two sitting areas , one on the outside and the other in a proper restaurant on the 1st floor. Staff service is great 👍 Ambience is perfectly fine. Recommendation:- club kachori, dhokla, mix chat.

Gupta brothers is best known for club kachori, which does not disappoint. Go to the first floor for a more comfortable experience with air conditioning and seating. The service is excellent as well. We had ordered the mango lassi which we did not like, so they refunded the money for it. It may take some time to get a table and get the food, especially during peak Sunday morning hours.

It is one of the best vegetarian restaurants in Salt Lake near Bidhan Nagar Swimming Club. Variety of sweets and good quality food at reasonable price are availabble here. It is very crowded in morning hours, crispi Jalebi and delicious club Kachodi are fast selling item. I visit this restaurant frequently in morning time with family for breakfast. Staffs are very friendly and attentative. Although here is sitting facility on first floor but people prefer to seat infront of the restaurant in open air. Here in weekend because of huge crowd you will have to wait for long time. For car parking enough space near the restaurant. Must visit with family and friends.

This Gupta Brothers is a great place for morning breakfast and also day time food. I like going here for morning breakfast mostly! they have a huge variety of food options such as club kachori, sandwiches, south Indian idli dosa, bread toast, sweets etc! The food quality and tastes are both very good. The prices are reasonable. They both inside and outside seating arrangements. Overall a great place for some delicious snacks and breakfast.

Sweet stall, snack station and a full fledged restaurant. All three are nice and serve good food. The service at restaurant was great too, and the thali they served was excellent!

Good food. It's veey crowded during breakfast hours and they have less manpower so on days one has to wait for almost half an hour so that some one comes and takes the order and after that usually some items are out of stock. Need more manpower. But food quality is very good.

Salt lake badly needs a good destination for a sip of tea. Without a doubt the place offers variety of food items and snacks. But when it comes to service it's not that great. It is crowded enough to make you believe that the tea must be great or out of the world. We went for a cup of tea on a weekday , it was little crowded and we had to wait for good 10 mins to find someone to take the order. You will see lot of boys running here n there, making items taking orders. But until n unless you are a "regular old customer" or come in a group of 6-10 people the staff won't notice or prefer to take the order! Secondly the tea is average elaichi tea and by the time it comes to you it won't be hot, as you would prefer on a winter morning. On a weekday after placing the order we had to wait for another 15 mins just to receive three cups of tea n bread tost! Is the 30 hr wait worth it ! Not really but since the place lacks a tea point which is good and provides impartial service we have no choice but go here or give up your laziness n make a good tea!

All the items are available now both savories and sweets... However the sanitation process is missing totally and there was a huge crowd in the shop.... That was only the drawback... Management was very relaxed about the Covid situation it seems....

Decent restaurant in the heart of THE hangout place of saltlake. You can expect to get a range of veg food from Indian sweets and snacks to North Indian, south indian and hint of Chinese. I had onion kachori and hot kadhai milk. In winters, this was bliss.

This a mainly a sweet shop!! They have wide variety of snacks, perishable as well as with long shelf life!! They have live counters too of snacks with tea !! The food is really good!! Crowd is good too !! They have option to sit & eat outside the shop as well as they serve in cars too.. they also have restaurant upstairs serving milti cuisine!! A good visit when around Saltlake are Pocket friendly too!!

I was a fan of this restaurant food. Now its worse than a road side eatery ..menu on a printed laminated cover dirty as dirt. Just a handful of dishes. Entire Calcutta post covid opening serves water in glass and here they explain that due to covid we are serving in paper cups, cups size seems to take hardly 100ml water. Prices are as high as the likes of Peter cat or barbque. Simply pathetic. A great restaurant in salt lake now in shambles ..

Gupta Brothers in Salt Lake was suggested by a friend and I had a meal with a group of over 20 people. The food didn't taste fresh and the service was not prompt. The paneer was served without the puris. When the dal wa served there was nothing to eat it with. Terrible timing of food served .

Undoubtedly the best place to eat. But the staffs spoil every moment. Every time you have to struggle with their arrogant staffs who misbehaves and gives a feeling that they are distributing food for charity. Particularly 2 staffs... Mannu and one more (pics shared) have made the environment really bad. These people will easily get a job, but by that time will tarnish all reputation of Gupta brothers

Apart from the food, everything has been a disaster. The restaurant at the 1st floor had cockroaches and mouse roaming around. There was no cleanliness, dull lighting, no adequate AC and most importantly, wrongful and slow billing. They charged for mineral water which we didn't open. They also charged higher price of one item that was printed lower in the menu. When asked, they said the price has risen, hence charging high. How can one put higher price on the bill, while lower selling price on menu? This poses trust issues in pricing of all the other items. Thankfully, we checked the bill and i remembered the menu price, otherwise would have paid wrong. Very disappointing.
