The place is very easy to locate. One can parking at the roadside by the store. The entire place is very neat and tidy. The behaviour of the staff are equally good. The food i tried are something unique than other mainstream Kolkata dishes. Also, the price is reasonable. I will definitely recommend it.

Surfire offers a whole new look into the cuisine of Southern India.! The gentle breeze swaying past your face, the oceans stretching far away to the horizon, the tall trees and coconuts hanging up, the beckoning of coastal food hitting straight into your nostrils, there is something unusually attractive and surprising when we think of dishes outside the usual realm of Dosas and Idlis, the food down South has a lot more complexities and intricacy we usually dream of. Surfire, one such name which has been popularising the cuisine of South Indian food, by picking up the favourites from every region and ultimately assembling them to provide the best of the dishes they could offer. Goan Chilli Chicken, one such recipe which is so much similar to the traditional Chilli Chicken we have, but yet has its own unique differentiators due to the difference in spices and it's proportion. The Potato Tornadoes, a somewhat fusion and a popular innovative starter, is perfect for someone who loves the creamier potatoes with a layer of melted cheese on top. Appam, Chicken Chilli Cheese Appam and Ham Chilli Cheese Appam for maincourse, we paired this with Kosha Mangsho, a special dish curated and to be available this Durga Puja, the Malabar Porota surprisingly fared well and made us have a glimpse of the quintessential Paratha - Kosha Mangsho combination. Fruit Payasam and Rava Kesari for desserts, flush all the food down with a sip of Kokum cooler or Filter Coffee for that refreshing aftertaste. A meal here will touch your heart and caress your soul and offers the perfect excuse for one to drop down, to try something different than their usual regular dal bhaat. #surfire #whenstomachtickles

Have always been fascinated with Coastal cuisine and this restaurant is a wonderful option for the foodies out there who wants to try something different . Ambience is classy . service is fast . staff behaviour is wonderful . Food is delicious. We ordered the following : 1. Goan chilli pork ( 4 / 5 ) : Great option for starter . 2. Crab Butter Garlic Sauce ( 3.5 / 5 ) : Good quality but I would prefer the crab ghee roast over this one . Butter garlic doesn’t suit compliment crab meat . 3. Thallasery chicken Biryani ( 4.5 / 5 ) : Loved it. Much recommended . 4. Fish in Mahabalipuram masala ( 4 / 5 ) : great option for fish . We took pomfret . Fish was very fresh . 5. Saffron yoghurt ( 5 / 5 ) : Simply blown away . Please show some love to this place . This restaurant deserves more attention .

I visited this lovely cafe SurFire is a must visit for all the south indian food lovers. They serve authentic south indian food at a very resonable price. 📌I had order the following items: •Kokum Sharbat •Potato Tornadoes •Kerala Style Chicken Drumsticks •Pujo Special Limited Edition - Malabar Porota & Mutton Kosha •Ham Chilli Cheese Appam The presentation was simple and the food tasted amazing. •Potato Tornadoes was topped with liquid cheese & it was super crispy & yummmy. •Kerala Style Chicken Drumsticks was served with a side salad & the drumstick was perfectluy fried & spicy. The outer layer was crispy & the chicken was super juicy & tender. •Malabar Porota & Mutton Kosha is a limited edition just for Pujo. The malabar porota was super soft and it went perfectly well with the mutton kosha, the mutton had the perfect balance of spices & the mutton was well cooked. •Ham Chilli Cheese Appam is a twist from the traditional appam but this new twist was amazing to taste and is a muat try. It is served was a chilli dip. My overall experience was just amazing. I cant't wait to visit SurFire again.

I stayed outside kolkata for many years and developed a palate for coastal food.I was actually craving for an outlet like this in my home city. The menu rises well above the stereotypical idli, dosa and sambhar and offers a unique array of costal delicacies that you will find nowhere else in kolkata. I must say the thalassiery mutton biryani they serve is undoubtedly the most unique, flavourful and addictive biryani you will find in kolkata apart from the classic kolkata mutton biriyani. One of the unique things that you will find here is that the owner herself is actively involved in the cooking process and the staff here are knowledgeable enough to guide you about their offerings. This place deserves love and appreciation..!!

Authentic Malayali food. The servers were genuine and will guide you with your order. Ambience is very basic but hygiene and sanitation is maintained. The restaurant was completely empty on Saturday night. Although, there were a lot of parcel orders. The location is inside a colony and not well advertised

Everything about this restaurant was average . The place was clean. The staffs are good. Our waiter was awesome, the staff also worked as a team in bringing and cleaning up our food but The food was not up to the mark as per price. Taste was average. Then we also had dessert which was also common in taste.

Nice place.... It is near the ravindra sarovar lake. The staff here were very friendly. They offered us complimentary chips by the time we ordered. We had rice with the Kerala chicken curry, a lemonade and bhapa doi for desert. The desert was were smooth, a must try and overall the food was decent.

Well from a reputed place like this, do you expect to get food like the manner i got? Atleast i don't after having paying nearly ₹500 for this fish fillet burger and what i get is what i call 'A MESS'. And guess what!! There was no compensation at all I mean there's something called care with which food is handled....Its not just about making it and handing it to customers in however hurriedly you want. You people should learn to respect customers and their hard earned money. Take it from me if you have some self respect and respect for your hardwork, do not spend on here. Far too costly too in terms of what actually they serve. If at all you wanna try Kerela cuisine, go to Ammini. They know atleast to respect their customers and value their money with their hospitality and food as well. HORRIBLE SURFIRE JUST HORRIBLE. DID NOT EXPECT THIS FROM YOUR SIDE

Yummy food for sure. But the service is very slow and confused at times. While I totally appreciate that all the food is cooked fresh and nothing is pre- prepared, the confusion between the front office and the kitchen is clear. The stewardess spent most of her time in the kitchen which clearly points to the fact that the kitchen staff aren't in sync with the orders.

Simply quite—this awesome beautiful food place on Rajani Sen road is a must visit if you are fond of COASTAL South Indian dishes. Could not clicked the food for the simple reason that we attacked them as soon as they were served.
