Staffs are very friendly, supportive and since it a newly opened facility so the building and rooms are good with very good infrastructure. Also the price for tests and doctor visit is less compared to any hospital with same standards. BUT, there is a big but. If you have a huge mediclam or you are very rich then it is an awesome place. Shamelessly they keep on doing tests which is not related to the problem, try to keep you as many days possible to increase the bill...docotors are also involved in this. I didn't find a single satisfied patient family in repeated 3 days of visit

During rush hours you need to have adequate man power to manage instead of keeping people waiting for eternity. Time is of value not only to you or your doctors alone it is equally important for patients and visitors. My experience to get my Mom( 83 years) vaccinated for the "Precautionary Dose" was very unsatisfactory. YOU DON'T KEEP SENIOR CITIZEN OF THAT AGE WAIT FOR ITERNITY SITTING AIMLESSLY ON THOSE CHAORS OF YOURS. Pulse Diagnostic was better and quick.. I regret taking my mom to Narayan Memorial Hospital, Behala.

I have bitter experiences at this Hospital. I admitted my sister, mother in law here. In both the cases I felt that the hospital is run by some semi skilled technical staff including nurses. Nurses don't even have minimum expertise to make a drift flawless. They are doing mistake after mistake and some of them are painful and fetal also. Moreover The non technical administrative staff have no coordination between them and took lengthy process for a little bit of work. The hospital is needed to be improved immediately otherwise it will lost its acceptability to us.

Money making machine. Poor service. Doctors overcharge n underperformed I was assigned a cardiologist for a blood infection who charged 2000rs every day and came to check on me at no fixed hrs fr a min or two. they even changed me for the day I was supposed to be discharged. Highly disappointed with the doctors and their lack of interest n time for the patient. They try to make money of patients ignorance. Did tests on day 1 which were negative and did not reveal to the patient saw the reports on day 7 when discharge was give. What was I kept in hospital for 7 days where all my family doc and other consultants from other places said it was a 3 days course of medicine. Havnt yet come to the operational inefficiencies and coordinator staff. Where things move super slow. The doctor prescribed me the medicine and 4hrs later they still said it was in the process n did not give me medicine

Bunch of unprofessional folks running the show. Called just to get a normal inquiry if they take care of fistula surgery. Was transferred 4 times, each time opd receptionist disconnecting the call. They don't even know which doctors are responsible and what are their timings forget about other information. Communication is pathetic and so is courtesy.

Package given approx 28K but bill made of 90k. No one listen to us if we have any questions. Doctor also threat to pay huge amount else they will not discharge the patient. Even in cashless system I had to pay to doctor 55K in cash and then Mediclaim paid to hospital too. After few days doctor refunded the cash. This whole process is not worthy at all. In normal case also doctor prefer surgery. Relationship manager doesnโ€™t listen to guardian. If doctor will say 1lakh, hospital will bill it even if hospital has given packages of 30K. Worst hospital and doctor. Will not recommend anyone.

My father has been admitted for 14days. Worst treatment. Lack of experienced doctor. Unusual charges on patient party. OPD doctors also not good. Management is also worst. Full of in-experience staff including nurse. All are trainee level.

The worst hospital I have ever seen. My father was admitted on 38 th of April 2021 with COVID. He was quiet stable during the time of admission. After 4 days they said that patient will be transferred into ventilation and the next day he passed away. The name of the doctor under whom my father was admitted was Dhruva Bhattacharya .who didn't have the time to see the patient and to discuss the problems of the patient with his family. His only is to give several tests and earn. This man passed his medical degree from Nepal and is present there to kill patients and earn money for the hospital. This not a hospital but a slaughter house of innocent patients in exchange of huge amount of money .

Pathetic....money making organisation- This hospital is not at all related to any reputed Narayan group hospital. It has been started in 2019 or in 2020 by a local businessman. Initial two years were still ok. Now as on Aug 2022 the main problems are - 1. All the senior and experienced doctors have left. 2. Before admitting make sure from the consulting doctor as well as the hospital administration that all the required operations/surgeries or other treatments will be done by the hospital itself or not. For example they have opthalmology department but they don't do any type of eye operations. Again they will pressure you to do angiography but they don't have any cathlab to do angioplasty or bypass surgery. Thus you will end up spending money in the tests but the actual ptreatment will not happen. So it's better to take the patient where all the end to end facilities are there and save your money. Worst part is that in order to make money, during admission they won't tell you the facilities they don't have. 3. After admission make sure from the RMO or the nursing station or from the patient file that the doctor or the specialist they have suggested or you have chosen is attending the patient. Lot of cases have have happened where the patient is lying in ICU but the specialist doctor hasn't visited for 48 or 72 hours. In such cases just stop the payment, make complaint and change the doctor/specialist. You have to act strongly otherwise they won't listen. 4. In general ward you look for the Resident Medical Officer (RMO) and you will never find him. 5. During admission they will give you the mobile no.s of ICU coordinatior or the ward incharge which no one will pick up. So you have to dial the general landline no and beg to the operator. 6. If your patient is in general ward, then always check if your patient needs private/personal attendant for feeding or other help. Here the hospital won't tell you and the patient will lie helpless. Worst part is that the private attendant is appointed by the hospital only and after appointment your personal attendant or ayaa will be utilized by the hospital nurses and ward boys for their own help. Your personal ayaa or the attendant won't be able to protest because if she denies to help the nurses or ward boys for the other patients then she won't be appointed or called by the hospital again. 7. Before making the final payment ask for the detailed bill and check it thoroughly. Incidents of double billing for physiotherapy and other services on the same day are very common in this hospital. Strongly protest if you find any anomaly and take refund from the cash counter. 8. The white board within the ICU contains the cash, TPA or WBHS (swastha sathi) details of all the patients along with other details like patient name, bed no, doctor name etc etc. Good hospitals never keep the payment details of patients written in the ICU. Here the ICU also seems to be involved in money making. 9. Although empaneled but this hospital creates a lot of problem for swastha sathi card. 10. They charge dietician fees everyday but give local and unheard health drinks costing more than the reputed health drinks brands in the market. This is a general/multispeciality hospital but the charges and fees are sometimes more than superspeciality hospitals like AMRI. So for extreme emergency situations and for ordinary problems or diseases you may visit this hospital. But if you want to save your money and get actual treatment then never come here and always go to AMRI, MEDICA or EEDF hospitals-

Very careful at this hospital as they add false charges to the bill. If you check bill carefully and ask a few questions they apologize and say something is wrong and reduces the bill by removing falsely billed drugs and services. The initial bill for my wife at the ER for about 1hr was 8000+ (including ECG, and 20+ other blood tests which were not done, i.e. billed falsely) for a severe STOMACH ACHE but even after repeated requests they could not perform an USG. When I confronted them and asked when were the ECG and blood tests done ? they discussed among them selves and the bill became 1986/- only, 75%+ amount falsely billed. They billed 4 pair of gloves for a 1hr ER visit when I asked the explanation the nurses and doctors were silent. I have a mediclaim policy which provides reimbursement for all LEGITIMATE MEDICAL EXPENSES, but the HOSPITAL is so fake that they could not provide a bed due to over occupancy, but the ADMISSION AGENT-cum-BROKER (DALAL) who was roaming in the ER, offered his PERSONAL ADVICE that beds were available to cash paying customers. Even the man after whom the Hospital is named, Narayan Shaw, would have been ashamed if he had been alive today.

I have experienced worst from this hospital because bike accident happened first they did all kind of testing then they said nothing happened major but then said 6 7 fracture shown in reports so we want you to admit for observation so that we can see pain management, breathing and all so we have admitted under 2 specialised doctor Dr Rashid Ayuvi (Cardio) & Dr Dhruba Bhattacharya (Otho). Since more then 24hr Dr Dhruba has not visited the patient yet. Now they are saying atleast stay 72 hr for clear observation. So what will cardio do in fracture cases. Dr Rashid not giving clear option first they said 10 days then we said ok we will kept him near our locality hospital then he said ok atleast 72 hr should be there. Hahahaha means they are negotiating to stay.

Narayan Memorial Hospital is one of the finest hospital in Kolkata, in terms of it's medical treatment and service. Though it's a comparatively new set up but in Behala region no hospital has such kind of state of art facility. The management and the staffs both are good and extremely cooperative. I am really impressed with the hospital and would refer all my know people in NMH.

Very much worst Neuro department. Doctor like Dinesh Jaluka (Neuro Surgeon) are associated with this hispital. He is very wretched person. He called us, patient party for taking hard cash in black an amount of 1.50 lakhs before doing O.T at Narayan Memorial Hospital, Manton, Behala tomorrow other than this he will be charging his fees on bill too. The hospital has allowed this butcher to call us, patient party and ask for money in the night too. It's a illegal business going on. Shameful act of a noble profession. This man must be put behind the bars along with hospital administration. Our patient with cerebral blood haemorrhage was admitted to this hospital and O.T was about to happen today. But the hispital administration could not arrange Doctor on time. Our patient is their in ICCU in critical condition and Dr Dinesh Jaluka is calling us at night to pay extra hard cash (Black Money) other than his bill just before entering the opeetion theatre tomorroe. Shameless creature. Still don't know how the O.T will happen tomorrow also. This hospital does not have adequate neuro surgeon, so bringing visiting doctors for operation to remove blood clot of brain and clipping. The department is literally of no work. Need to highlight through media so that no one suffers like us.

To start with Narayan Memorial Hospital was not that bad. Gradually, the owner became very much greedy as the hospital hit sixes during covid period. They dont care about the staffs how efficient are they. Money making is their only motto. They donot bother to read these comments and try to rectify themselves. Being an ex staff my experience is horrible.

I took my 80year old father who had overcome from Covid 2months back had complaints of low sodium and potassium level. On arrival into the emergency the hospital personnel asked for performing Covid test ( CBNAAT) as their routine test that is required for admitting any patients. We got to know the report as covid positive for my father as my father had already had covid 2months back we asked the hospital emergency doctor to perform a retest and send sample for RTPCR as RTPCR report would have taken 1day to come they again send my father's sample for CBNAAT. But even after waiting for more than 3hrs we didn't receive any report after enquiring repeatedly we came to know that CBNAAT could not be performed two times in a single day. and both the admitting consultant and the hospital personnel forced us to admit my father in to a covid ICU for which the insurance charges have different tarrif. Moreover we were shocked after taking my father to Peerless Hospital where they tested my father negative and today I took my father back home after correcting his electrolyte levels. Very poor service of this hospital and only behind making money unethically. Will definitely not recommended this hospital for sure.. and whoever is taking to this hospital be aware of them..

Ambiance and infrastructure is good..New technology based instruments are there..But service is very poor due to less number of staffs.. Service needs to be prompt according to the patient's demand..I personally have experienced discripency in the discharge certificate..They try to raise the bill amount higher by manipulating the patient and the family in various ways..Had a tiff between my family and the administrative department..The management needs to be more efficient and recruit more number of staffs if they really wish to set a good standard and to avoid negative feedback..

Worst hospital I have ever seen. The management is worse. The doctors are very good. Especially emergency doctor, Dr. Sayan majumder was excellent. But the management and tedious procedures had harassed me a lot. The reception, cash, admission, all are bogus. I should suggest not to take your patient to this hospital unless and until it's very urgent.

Worst hospital ever. They are not able to treat diarrhea. For just 7-10 days of diarrhea. They have done all type of diagnosis including colonoscopy. With all these things the patient have become more weak and no solutions given. Just increased the hospital bill more than 97K. In short they are robbers.

Worst private hospital I have ever seen. They charge like any other reputed big pvt hospital but their service and management is like any local nursing home. They don't even have feedback form. There is no corporate desk to deal with patients seeking medical bill refunds from their respective companies. The behavior of admission counter staffs and billing counter staffs are rude, totally unprofessional. I took my 9 months old son (who was suffering from extreme viral fever) for emergency admission. They took nearly 3 hours to start treatment!! Such a bogus is their admission procedure. I would like to say that if you have extreme emergency then only come to this hospital. It's better to travel 2-3 kilometers more to reach a better hospital than this.

Our first visit to the hospital was last December 2021 for my dad who was diagnosed with covid pneumonia and was admitted for 14 days under Dr Raktim Guha. Staffs are cordial and helpful and always respond to your need. Hospital is well maintained and follows all health guidelines. They maintain higher degree of hygiene which generally not seen in most of the hospitals nowadays. Dr. Raktim Guha is really a good doctor. He patiently listens to each and every concern and addresses the same. Very well versed and acts aptly. Recommendation - 1)The staff in OPD billing needs to be increased as during our visits we found even after taking token there is long wait time due to less number of staff handling the same. 2) Senior Citizen separate billing counter should be introduced for smoother operations at the counter. Special thanks to Ms. Suparna - CEO for her great administration. Under her leadership we found the hospital is getting recognised as of the best hospital in the vicinity. Also thanks to Mr. Saikat - Manager Ops and Ms. Moumita - OPD incharge for their contribution. Highly recommended hospital for doctor consultation, hospitalisation and for any blood, diagnostics investigation. Team keep up the good work. Best Wishes Amartya Pal

This is a newly established hospital, but in this short time they have managed to establish this hospital nicely. This hospital is somehow a bit costly, as they have almost neat and clean Deluxe quality hospital rooms and as of now I can say girls providing good treatment. Actually this hospital is helping the people of Behala a lot as because this is the only super speciality hospital nearby.

Firstly the tests are quite expensive if done from Narayan Memorial Hospital Behala. It takes time to get the complete results as well. Secondly, Such a big reputed hospital and they only provide the hard copy of your reports. Soft copies are very important and our working organisations require us to provide soft copies only to forward them to the HR.

Worst hospital of South Kolkata. The doctors, management and the nurses are all useless. They play with human life, I have lost my wife to them. All they care about it money. I will request each and everyone reading this not to visit this hospital in any situation. They will do all unnecessary treatment and tests and keep the patient in ICU to just increase the bill. Go anywhere but don't come here.

I received exceptional care at the hospital during my pancreatitis diagnosis. The entire staff displayed remarkable compassion and professionalism. A special mention to Mr. Murali for his goodwill. From the doctors' expertise to the nurses' unwavering support, I felt well-taken care of throughout my stay. Their kindness and willingness to answer all my questions made a challenging time more manageable. I appreciate their dedication to my recovery and the overall positive atmosphere at the hospital. It's evident that they prioritize patient well-being, and I'm grateful for their excellent care during my treatment.
