The is a small fountain which we can see while going to Nanjundeshwara temple from the bank of Kapila river. There is a small shiva idol with fountain. I have gone to Nanjanagudu many times but never seen this fountain in working condition. Please run this fountain regularly so that it attract people.

Very beautiful temple located in Nanjangud. It is centuries old and even Tippu Sultan used to worship after his royal elephants eye ailment was treated due to chanting of a particular mantra
