    It is also called Lord Nanjundeshwara temple means it's a Lord Shiva's another name and It is one of the beautiful place to visit at nanjanagudu. And a holy place , even I have been visited many times but whenever I visited there I feel like a you are getting some peace of mind 😌❤️

    One of the most iconic and famous temples in south india dedicated to lord shiva(here srikanteshwara). Located 20 kms from heritage city mysore, its one of the largest temples in karnataka in terms of area. A curious fact is that there is also a small linga inside the temple which was installed by tipu sultan which is called as HAKEEM NANJUNDA. Hakeem meaning doctor in urdu, its believed that he did so beacuse he wanted his favourite elephant which was injured to get back to normal health. An emerald garland is also present in this linga's neck.
