Theme of the restaurant is cave and ambiance is too good. Luckily we got the table in a separate cave which was like cherry on top. Food was amazing and price was also reasonable. They serve all the dishes too fast. Only one thing you need to do before going there is book your table in advance, the queue was too long that wait time can go up to 1 hr 40 minutes.

Restaurant is very nice! Decent choice of all kinds of cuisine. The service quality is very good. Ambience is quite and complete Cave setup with nice background music. Food was good and prompt service. Rate wise it is bit on Higher side. But we thoroughly enjoyed. I would recommend this for an evening dinner with family.

A place which has been consitent in terms of food quality and taste for at least last 14 years as I have known and experienced. The ambience is unique and crafty. This time around, my last visit in Sep, I found the service and food taste a bit lacking. It was too spicy, Dal (lentils) appeared to be done in haste and service was a tad laggard than usual. But soup was good. You can't go wrong with this place and I would recommend for a good experience, it's safe and reliable but guess they too have their share of off days!

Perfect place for a date night, family dinner or a friends day out. The cave ambience is definitely something worth checking out. Cocktail menu is awesome. Hakka noodles was just delicious. A bit crowded on weekends so there will be waiting time. We had to wait for 10-15 minutes.

It's not only tummy filling but soul filling food. Fun ambience with an eye for detailing, even the servers wer wearing the whole jungle safari uniform and the chairs and plates were leopard print. Ambience is too good with full cave kind of setup. Each and every corner is having different design, even the servers wore jungle safari uniform. Menu is having wide variety both Indian and Italian. Tried drums of heaven and bamboo rice. Food and service both are good. Rate is on the higher side but worth visiting this place for a good evening dinner.

Great place with a nice cave theme and really amazing good food. Loved every single thing that I ordered. Reducing one star as the lady in the entrance was a bit rude to us as she initially gave us a waiting time of 30 minutes, so we went outside, went to few stores and came back in 35 minutes. Instead of giving us the next table she started shouting at us which is a very horrible behavior. Neither do they note your mobile number to give you a call despite high waiting + such bad attitude. Would have give 2-3 stars, but the food and serving were good so don't want to do any injustice to them.

A unique restaurant that has a different vibe itself. They serve veg as well as non-veg. The place is very well air conditioned. Their menu has Indian, Western, Chinese as well as Continental items. Its menu is similar to any other family restaurant and it tasted good. The budget was moderate. Overall, it's a nice place to visit after a sunny day out cause it has a very chill ambience that anyone would love.

I have never rated a restaurant with 5 stars but this one definitely deserves it. Everything is perfect over here be it ambience, service, food or drinks. And it's so reasonable. Its theme is of a cave and it's beautiful. Food over here is a 10/10, its delicious... All the flavours are perfectly balanced and it has a rich taste to it. But it's a little crowded on weekends at night so it's better to book table in advance.

I guess this place has been standing here for long and serving very good food. The host is very gentle. You might want to reserve your table before you walk in. The food is really good. The staff advice on the portions so you don't end up ordering more. Fried ice cream is a good touch. Kebabs are very tasty

Very good ambience in the restaurant. Few dishes are great and few are just okay. Depends on which dishes you order. Veg curry was all turmeric and no other flavours. Biryani was spicy and no other flavours. Spaghetti with arrabiata sauce was nice and flavorful. Penne with white sauce was also very nice. Mocktails were good too.

Awesome cave theme resort. It's inside Pai Management and bit difficult to identify as they have a small board outside. There was waiting when we reached there. The manager showed 2 options of tables as we were 9 in total with 2 kids. Food is good. Specially Indian Breads and soups were good. Vegetable quantity is a bit low but the quality is good. Full marks to ambience and surroundings. A point to note is the order closing time. We have to give orders before 10.30. We missed adding beverages for all and item for kids and realised just around 10.35 or 10.40. The staff was so adamant that they didn't show any courtesy to accommodate a single request to add one small item like French fries for kids. After that they just wanted to wrap the things and go. Reduced rating because of this.

Pretty close to Mysore Zoo, we searched for nearby restaurant and it popped at top so thought of trying it. Ambience: It's one of a kind and hats off to the designer and team to create such a team, it gives you another feel. Kids love the ambience and there are many things to explore. Food: We reached when it got opened, so everything we ordered it was utterly fresh and tasty. Starting with Soup, Dal, Biryani etc. It was just amazing. Good to go and visit. Must recommended

Nice place, we decided to go to this place after reading the review about the ambiance. And it was the right choice. Although most of the review talk about price being on the higher side, we never felt so, it was ok price when compared with any restaurant in Bangalore. Ambience was really great the created the ambience of a cave, all the staff in the hotel where dressed in hunter theme dress. Food was really good, clean atmosphere bathrooms and hand wash areas were neat and clean. This place is located inside big building with lot of parking space available outside the building and right in the centre of Mysore city.

What an ambience!!! A proper themed restaurant!! Food was also very nice. But the behaviour from the host persons were not satisfactory. They served well and took nice timing to serve. But it was very nice to have dinner here. Was much satisfactory overall. But it’s open till 11 P.M. so take at least 1hour in hand before going.

Had been here To have an new Experience of Gufha,. Something new. But to find This place only took 15mins lost, The Security guerds are best, In lobby no welcome, Ourselves only we finds and went to the Gufha restaurant, The seating arrangement is not good Here. If you looking a fine dining then this is not good to go, Tables are very small, in that only the added feedback board's, flower etc The food is Teasty but the Quantity is very less, even prices are so high, as per the Portion. About the Staff till we don't call they will not attend, one of Fat guy With Glasses 👓 we don't know his Name but he was only working everywhere, he was very humble, we thankfull him, In Restaurant They have music, but very low sound. You can't even listen... The restaurant is centrally located inside pai vista hotel in Mysore. The ambiance of the restaurant is great. Food was ok. The staff are dressed as shikari shambhu ( if you remember who he is 😁) . It's definitely worth the visit for the ambiance.

We went to gufha restaurant for lunch when we went to Mysore. It is located very close to the zoo and has ample parking space along with valet parking. There was a waiting timing of around 20 mins when we went, so expect a waiting time. The ambience is good as it is unique. The serving staff is also great, they will take care of you in the best manner. Food was also very good. Overall a good place to visit when someone is in Mysore.

We were in Mysore for a break and I had to Google good restaurants nearby. The Gufha restaurant had a good rating and the pictures were attractive so thought of giving it a try. We took a cab and visited this place. We reached around 8 pm. The restaurant was half full that time. We didn't book in advance it was a walk in but still got a table. The ambience was very nice. We ordered both vegetarian and non vegetarian options, the food was delicious. We ordered fresh juice at the end which was a bit disappointing. The rest of the experience was nice. The hotel is not that expensive either, definitely recommended for a dinner with family.

Place was very crowded due to which we didn't get good food. Service was pretty fast and the ambience is very good. Mocktail was the best. Staff was polite and professional. Had to wait for 35 minutes to get the table for 5.

One of the best restaurants in Mysore. As we were on a travel trip and the trip was about to end I had to Google ‘Best Restaurants Near Me’ and ‘Gufha’ popped up. The jungle theme styled restaurant amazes us with the ambience and the waiter’s & captain’s are dress in hunter style uniforms which enhances their ambience. The restaurant is recommended for all ages groups, food out here is way better than any restaurants in Mysore. Service was moderate as expected due to the crowd we had. The place had a different aura in itself. Highly Recommended! Loved the food, service and ambience! Would definitely visit again when ever I would visit Mysore again. Thank you Gufha for having us!

An awesome place for kids to enjoy the atmosphere. Very crowded place, need to go with an appointment. Waiting time is 40 minutes on weekends. Food is good. The service needs to improve, we have to call them frequently as they don't follow up upon us. And getting the attention of the waiters felt difficult to me. They need to serve the obvious things very fast like the cool drinks, they don't need any time to prepare them. The food takes longer to be prepared. They need to improve or update their kitchen. Its a very busy place and very crowded, shows that it is very famous. Nice place.

Very good ambiance. Nature theme is great. Feel like you are dining inside a Jungle. Food also good. Closes by 11:00pm.

High classy food. The theme is really amazing the way they are dressed and the interior makes it feel really true experience. The foods were good to the mark. Expensive but comes with the vibe. Some people dont like to eat at dark if so you wouldn’t like this place much. Its dark and has a good crowd.

Had a good experience at Gufha recently. We visited the place based on the recommendation from my cousin and weren't disappointed. The price is on the higher side but if you discount that, the place has a great dark ambience (love it or hate it types) and is good for a family dinner or a hangout with friends (they serve liquor too). We had a room inside the cave for ourselves, ate some naans, chicken based starters and main course and the classic gudbud which was good (we've had better ones outside at smaller joints). But credits where they're due - the naans were fluffy, the gravy and the starters tasted lip-smacking good! Service is great too. They have an open parking lot close to the building. If you're in Mysore and want to try some north Indian dishes, do visit!

Quite an interesting place for dining. The other one ,tht has the same theme, is Ohri's gufa at Hyderabad. Food is absolutely fantastic...just too good. Super comfy hospitality , mega spread , and reasonable rate. Well, the fried papad was a bit high priced, though . a good place for a good time

The food activates your taste buds, even hygiene wise it meets all the standards.am giving 1 star less because, they don't communicate in kannada even they know the regional language. I request them to speak in kannada with their kannadiga customers atleast.

It has a unique ambiance of night forest life in caves and hence aptly named Gufha restaurant. Food is good and service is also apt. Every niw and then when you need a different atmosphere for dinner you can definitely try Gufha and I suppose it will not disappoint you.

Last time I visited there was some kind of smell but this time it was all a pleasent experience ❤️ They have a huge seating area but it's always better to make a reservation as it would become crowded. The parking is available inside the premises. Firstly, your eyes will be astonished looking at their super wide range of menu 💯 One of the favourite was DRUMS OF HEAVEN which was super juicy, crispy and tasty (nothing like KFC🙊) The ambiance is attractive whereas the service is much appreciated!

Wort. Worst.Worst food I ever had. Went with my friends and had chicken biriyani,mutton biriyani, rotis and soups. Biriyani are very bad. Not at all good. Roti and chicken main course, and soups were fine. What makes it wooorst is it's too expensive. 320 for a chicken biriyani. It can be reasonable if it tastes well but it cannot be even compared with any street Donne biriyani centers. Anyway the place and concept all were a different experience. It's like you are in a cave and jungle effects are there. The waiters dress as rangers.

Was totally psyched by the concept of having a meal in such a cosy and different kind of ambience. Overall a wonderful experience. Ordered and enjoyed lasagna with garlic bread an a fine glass of dry white wine. The warmth of the place and the waiters won my heart as well as their “attire”. A definite must see if you’re around Mysore. Quick tip: it’s usually very full from 12pm onwards so try to go as early as possible to be able to pick a seat that resonates with your soul.

Loved the food, ambience and the vast menu. When we walked in for dinner at 7.30, it was half full. We ordered dal roti for kids, which was v nice. Then a non veg soup, a veg sizzler and a diaquiri cocktail. Everything was great. Only not so great thing was that it was hot and packed and sweaty with the AC barely on, which ruined the experience a bit for me. But apart from that, I'd love to return again to dine here with friends and family every single time I visit Mysore.
