Hotel Kamat is located in mysuru the facility looks good nice place fo south indian food lovers. We liked most the famous dishes here. Nicely prepared in banana leaf. A must eat here. Variety of other dishes. Cleanliness especially drinking water and glasses

Kamat Madhavan Restaraunt on the way Ooty and Nanjungud road, they have ample space for parking, food was average, service is poor, they cannot handle more customers as they have minimal staff,Jolada Rotti was average, had to wait for dishes to be served even after waiting for 5 minutes, overall not so good experience.. Best thing in the special meals was Holige which was delicious and enjoyed it thoroughly. The only thing which came on time was the bill, they do not accept cards, was told that there was some issue.

My recent visit to this estaurant was an absolute disappointment that I feel compelled to warn others about. The food quality was abysmal, especially the masala dosa which was fully burnt and inedible. Moreover, the service was lackluster, with unresponsive staff members who did not address my concerns properly. To my surprise, even a simple cup of tea was served in a disposable paper cup, an unusual choice for a veg restaurant. It is best to avoid this establishment entirely, as they fail to prioritize quality and customer service.

The term 'Kamath' being one of the famous food brand, we thought of going to this place. It had a great space for parking but when comin to food, it was one of the most worst experience 1. Ordered meals on banana leaf and trust me, it was the biggest regret. They r so slow and they will serve food so slowly. It nearly took 20 mins to keep banana leaf in front of us and 30 mins to start serving the food. The waiters/servers are so slow n careless to even respond to the customers. Coming to the taste, every single item in the thali was so bland without even basic salt. They said it was North Indian thali but there was nothing like south or north in it. He was serving literally a lazy chef's output who is not even bothered to check the customer satisfaction. The more worst part - the servers or waiters will b starting at u literally like military people making sure that u don't share your food with anyone. In case u r sharing your food with a kid who is less than 8 years, u will b asked to pay 100 extra 🤦🏻‍♀️ 2. Ordered veg fried rice which was 150 + taxes and the quantity was so less that the entire small bowl was completed by my 5 year old daughter (i think it was 250 ml bowl) Coming to taste - it was not veg fried rice. It was ' only beans rice' which was tossed in lot of oil without any Chinese sauces and again bland in taste. They were no veggies like carrot, cabbage or anything else, except for beans 🤦🏻‍♀️ I had to pay literally 560 for two tasteless meals and one worthless so called veg fried rice. Never will i go to this place again or refer it to anyone i know!!! A total dissatisfaction and disappointment place to visit in Mysore!!!

Dinner with family. Menu is perfect, North Karnataka style, Baale ele Oota😍. Service was awesome and quality food and environment, will be back definitely!

Yet another great Kamat group of hotels. One of the best in Mysore. Had North Karnataka meals and everything was just perfect. Reasonable price for the quantity and taste of the food. Service was excellent with very caring staffs. Located just about a kilometre far from the Mysore Palace.

Located close to Mysore palace. Has a decent amount of parking too. Quite a bit of seating available and cleanliness is average. Coming to the food, it was average and quantity was low too for the price. Coffee was pretty good. Will probably choose another spot for breakfast next time

Kamat has many branches in many cities and known for its taste. It is veg restaurant where it serves yummy breakfast and meals. I went to Kamat Madhavana located in Ooty road, Mysore. Both taste and service was good but didn’t cleaniness was not up to the mark. Food was too healthy and I liked it very much 😊 Quality 4/5: We went for green leaf full meals and they served 3-4 curries, papad, salads, butter milk, curd and jowar roti. Food taste was good but they lack in cleanliness. Service 5/5: Waiters keep serving food as it was full meals. Each waiter serve one particular item. Parking 4/5: Kamat Madhuvan has dedicated parking area for both 2-4 wheelers but no shelter for them. Cost 3/5: I felt it is too costly for normal meals and it is ₹180/meal. Note: People travelling from Mysore-ooty/nanjangud can visit and try the restaurant.

Great food and great service, one if the best hotel to eat food, Jawar Roti with Butter was Awsum taste and Yummmmmmmmy😋😋 By seeing only watering in my mouth so taste wise no bad comments…

Authentic Konkani food. Pure vegetarian buffet meal. Very healthy, very wholesome. Courteous service. Pleasant ambience. All in all, a place you should visit! Jolada roti, with butter served along with multiple curries. The dhokla in the start. All are very good! For some reason, I loved their papad. All of them have a distinct wonderful taste. The hoolige was on point too!

We had north Karnataka meal there. Food served was very delicious . Staffs were very friendly. Restaurant was very neat and clean. Car parking was available . Washroom was very clean

It is a shame to the Kamat brand. Tasteless food that is cold, not so hygienic. Any roadside dhaba is better than this place. Ordered Mysore Masala dosa and a cold normal podi masala dosa with a piece of cold hard butter on top. Food is costly and service is ok. Though there is a menu, you won’t get anything from that. Good parking facility.

One of the best traditional South Indian Food Restaurant's. We went for a team lunch and ordered South Indian thali... The food tastes very good. Well hygiene is maintained. However Due to too many customers there was a delay in serving the food. But this you can avoid because after the first time serving they are fast and will not make you wait. I will be visiting once again when I get time.

Absolute saviour while traveling to Kerala. It's the best vegetarian restaurant you can find without much route deviation. Food is good as expected and service is fast. Weekend lunch gets very crowded, ideal for breakfast.

If you are looking for a traditional Karnataka lunch, you should try this. They should work on improving the ambiance as the times changing. Good food and service.

A great place for vegetarian lunch. We had jeera rice, dal fry, veg kolhapuri and butter milk. Everything was delicious and fresh. The service was very quick. The place was very big and has great parking space as well. They offer some unlimited South Indian meal as well.

Pathetic service. Service staff humiliated us which we will not forget us in our life. We family ordered Jower Roti meals. Service staff served first time with small roti and other left over dishes. Our plates were empty. One person came and asked what do you want. He disappeared. Second person came, asked, disappeared. Third, fourth, fifth person came and disappeared. Our plates were empty by 15 min by that time. Next person was happy to listen when said bring the bill. Such pathetic service first time in life. We never recommend any one with some dignity to visit this place.

The place is on the highway on the way from Mysuru to Bandipur. The medu Vada was amazing but the Mysuru masala dosa wasn't that great.

Except chola roti, other items in meals are below average. Chola roti was hot and soft can try again only for chola roti

Place is very pleasant and calm. Service is good but don't expect high class level. Food is authentic Udupi style.

We reached here around 7:45AM and we were first customer. However, they served the food within 15 minutes. The place was with old looks and surrounded by green plantation, within the premise. The food and coffee was amazingly tasty. Staff were humble and soft spoken. Only thing I personally didn’t like was, the place was not very (very) clean (might be because of it was just opened and they still had to do the cleaning. When we reached they stopped the cleaning because dirt flying in the air). Please like my comment if you feel it is helpful.

Visited on Sunday... the people won't serve properly... everything need to ask by the customer... taste was ok ok... not much good. Please check the bill before u pay... because we order 4 meal which has 1 special 3 normal meal... bill was given to 3 special and 1 normal which made my bill high... serving is very bad.. they tell that is unlimited... but they won't serve properly.. cleaning aunty was really good was asking severs to serve properly to their customers...the person who allot the sit has a high attitude... he won't care at all...
