👍👍 We walked nearly 1.2km from Mysore bus stop to this place. I was like what's so special with Mylari? Dose is dose🤷‍♀️! On top of that people add too much oil. After going there, we ordered dose, it was seriously exceptional!! That texture with saagu and coconut chutney was delicious😋 Then I though... People often mention dosa, taste, good, dose, small, masala, Mysore, dosas, Mylari, butter,

After going there, we ordered dose, it was seriously exceptional!! That texture with saagu and coconut chutney was delicious😋 Then I thought, 'Mylari is different! '. They don't add peanut in Chutney. That's the best thing. Sad part is, you won't feel enough with one small dose. Felt like little bit costly for that small size. But affordable and it deserves the hype🔥

My friend was literally boasting about this place for months. And when the day finally arrived where we happened to visit Mysore and this place - he himself spat on his face for recommending this place. We entered the place around 7.30 in the morning. I am not sure if they were using leftover batter or something. But the taste was very weird and below average. Even the tea was not good. My friend who previously visited this place twice said it's not the same taste as it used to be. We had to leave the food incomplete because of this. Hopefully he will be searching for a newere breakfast point soon in Mysore.

Place serves only idli dosa coffee and tea . It’s a old hotel with good seating capacity , small kitchen . Must try to get that traditional taste of butter dose . Chutney and sagu were unique . Hotel is on the main road only . Google maps confuses at times 😁

Yumm Dosas. Only disappointment is that they have reduced the size of the Dosas by a lot. One dosa will not be sufficient at all. For a heavy meal, you will need atleast 3 of them. Each dosa costs 40 rupees. Other than masala dosa, you get plan dosa, idli, tea and coffee. The taste of the sagu in masala dosa is good. They give the sagu in very small quantity but you can request for more of it. Chutney and sagu is unlimited on request.

Best filter coffee and best tiffens I ate. Very traditional serving where a banana leaf is used. Butter dosa was really tasty. The curry they made was delicious. Not too heavy. Good.

The dosa and idili they provide are not regular type we find in Bangalore, they were soft and fluffy. The sagu they provide is unique.

Tasty but price is too much for the quantity they giving. Its not the usual masala dosha with potato masala. Too crowded and less space, u may need to wait for seat. Very hot inside the hotel.

This place serves almost identical idli and Dosa as the Original Mylari Vinakaya. Their Dosa is creamy and melts in your tongue. We went on Sunday and it was super crowded. We waited for about 15 minutes to get a seat. There is no token system. You just have to be near a table to wait for people to finish. Grab the table once they are done. That’s the rush on weekends. So, avoid weekends if possible. The word Mylari means old ways of cooking on wood fire. They still follow this old and traditional way of cooking. As such, the taste is special. Their coconut side dish is flavorful. Must visit if you are in mysore.

Breakfast here is a ritual every time I'm in Mysore. The rustic vibe and soulful dosas of this place can never get old. You need to be patient in order to start eating your meal. Especially on weekends. Do not expect anything fancy. This place is all about simplicity.

Got to know that there are many mylari restaurants in Mysore and this happens to be one of the fake ones. Though the dose looks like a typical Mylari dose, taste was not great. Attached the entrance pic.

They only serve Dosa and Idli which is both delicious and unique in taste. However its a clumsy space with no washroom facility. Worth a visit nonetheless

Mylari benne dose is so good , very smooth and adds butter flavour in every bit of dose here . Saagu is added to dose which enhances the taste of masala dose . Saagu was so good , even chutney tastes very good . Extra benne will be given here for each dosa . Bisi bisi idly is also available which will be so good and smooth .

As we are in the way to Mysore Randomly we were searching for Breakfast they we found this Mylari Hotel with lots of hype. As we entered the hotel all tables were busy sum how we got seats we ordered Famous Mylari Dose dey tld to it takes sum time antha. So we ordered Idly literally idly was like butter uffffff so smooth tasted superb😍😍 Dey can the Most Hyed Dose with lots of butter 🧈 taste wise good but Quantity was not worth it. For my point of view Dose was so small literally u can eat 5 to 6 dose easily it cost ₹40 per each dose. But once need to taste this Dose But Idly killed the Show….!!! Uniqe dosas, these are not masala dosas more like set doses. Don't expect crisp dosas, it's very soft and melt in the mouth texture. Its crowded, one needs to fight their way in to get a seat, but you will be out in 10 min eating 2 dosas once you get your seat. It's quick service restaurant.

Hot and soft Idlies served with coconut chutney and onion potato sagu. Plate of 2 Idlies costs 30rs. Next is dosa which is a general poori sized one with a dollop of butter on top and onion potato sagu inside. Dosa was hot and good and had a very little sweet taste (for me) and costed 40rs Served on banana leaf and a short waiting period. Can accommodate more than 20ppl at a time Parking might be an issue during peak hours Here staff claims the earlier you visit the softer the Idlies are

The masala dosa was a soft one but crispy on the outer side butter put on top(50rs). The Idily was really fluffy and with a good masala to have with

Must try Restaurant in Mysore. Taste is not comparable with dosa from any corner of the world. Just Wow

Over priced average dosa and idly. Not worth the hype. But their service was great.

This place is good if you are looking for tasty Idly and Dosa. 1. Food - the taste was good and the pricing is normal for the quantity. 2. Atmosphere - this is a small restaurant and it is in the old style. They have maintained it well, but don't expect a luxury at this place 3. Seating - it is limited and during peak hours, you might have to wait to get a space here. 4. Parking - free roadside paying is available 5. Payment - can be done via UPI and cash

It serves only 3 items. Plain Dose, Masale Dose and Idly (In morning only). Taste is good and chutney was awesome. Very nice.

Here you can get only 3 items. They serve Idli, masala dosa and plain dosa. It has limited seating capacity and there will be a waiting.

Brilliant dosas, they maintain the specialty of mylari dosas, service is quick and friendly. Again your choices are limited to dosa or idly making it easy. They don’t do coffee but you have a store next door for that. It is in a busy road but you can manage parking somehow since it is fast moving. Dosas are brilliant and I’d go there again and again for their taste, you’ll need atleast 2 to fill yourself up.

A small authentic restaurant that serves only dosas. Their dosas so soft, fluffy and melting. They serve dosa in a small banana leaf with chutney and sagu. It’s more than the taste of the dosa the experience of eating from this place was more exciting for me. The staffs were so friendly and really quick in serving. The dosas are a bit small so you atleast need to have two of them. 😅

Visited with family, very good service, very pluffy dosa with butter , pocket friendly, dosa was 40 rs per plate, the owner said they are the original mylari hotel but all the people copied them, it's closed to agrahara circle,

A place with a history. Dosae taste is good, would have been better if it was crispy.

  • 3/5 Karan b. 2 years ago on Google
The place is kept as it is and gives you an essence of homely feeling. The dose are small in quantity and charges Rs 40, but the taste was ok ok. Felt have had better doses before. Can give a try when in Mysore since it's a 70 year old place.

  • 5/5 MLS V. 2 years ago on Google
Yet an unbeatable taste of the masala dose served here compared to the original mylari in Nazarbad. Sunday crowd is pathetic and staff also go confused what to serve and how to serve to the customers but they still manage to do their best. Weekday visits are the best. Overall taste and food is too good.

It's really nice... But for Mylari, I somehow feel the original vinayak one is still better.. for this taste and size, I felt it was too overpriced...

👍👍 Both veg and non veg food served are good. We ordered something new called Coin Paratha and it was worth trying. Paneer butter masala was classic. Do try the burger from Easy Bites(their snack section), so soft and absolutely delicious!

😠 Worst place to have any kind of food. The queue to enter this place can take more than 20 minutes and the food is below average.
