Have been visiting this place for lunch right since our engineering Days, Over 10 years now. Half Rice and Kalmi was the standard order which still remains. Great mutton Pulao and chicken dishes. Friendly staff and Good Food. Would rate this place higher than the Original Hanumanthu Pulao at Mandi. Update July 2023: They have reduced their standards, the Place has a bad stench, noticed it the last 3 times i visited recently, the cooking standards and cleanliness has drastically gone down. Hope it improves

Chicken and mutton biryani is tasty but spiciness is little high in the complementary gravy. More crowded during my visit there ( people waiting for us to stand ). Three floors of hotel with enough space for groups. Service is faster. Overall, a good spot for tasty biryani in town.

I've never ate such a worst pulav in my life. They use both dalda & fat of mutton. I e charvi. The rice will have fatty smell. When rice gets cold, you can feel the meat oily fatness in your fingers. Even after washing hands, the bad fat smell doesn't go off. What i learnt in mysuru is, there are two type of people. One who eat only standard high quality biryani & rest others eat the low level type pulav which contains fatness.gamey fatty low quality palm oil, dalda & Mutton fat gives a bad smell, What we call in kannada as "kavachu vaasne". May be few are adapted to this type of taste.but this one is not for my type of person.

It's always my Place for lunch and dinner. I've been having food here for the past 12 years. Tastes for Kalmi and Palav remain the same till date. Best combo ever 😍🔥 Must Visit.

One of the best place in Mysore for Non Veg lovers, specially the briyani. Ordered for chicken briyani, mutton briyani, chicken pepper dry ( but it was looking/tasted like drumstick chicken), chicken kabab. Price is not v expensive + taste is worth the price. One of the must visit places in Mysore. They don't accept card but only cash. I will go again.

I think not that much of good palav, provided by them taste is also same, and also not worthy for that money they have taken from us. We three are going to there all three are tasted like that only. No one gives a good review for that hanumanthu palav centre, than chicken provoided by them that is not good be careful while you choosing take take a food from outside and have a good meal🤭🤭🤗🤗😊😊😘😘🍗🍖☺️☺️

One of the best mutton biriyani in mysore, Taste is immaculate. Only issue is that the place is not good for families, do not take your family to eat there. Especially near that pan wala outside as he does know how to behave well.

We ordered full tandoori chicken 350/- and only plain palav. It was sufficient for 3 PPL. Which costed 600rs. Very good food.

Very pathetic. They have lost their old taste and service. They give ghee rice with cooked chicken. Tandoori was burnt too much. Please don't go for take away.

Tandoori chicken and kebabs with ghee rice is an ultimate combo . Whenever I visit ,i never missed chicken tandoori with biriyani. Every Tuesday there will be "Nati Style Chicken biriyani" available with Nati Style Gravies. They have recently started Fish fries and fish kebabs, which is also tasty and worthy for the price.

I was in Mysore and wanted to try the famous Hanumanthu palav. I made a mistake (partly blame Google baba) and decided to visit Hanumanthu New Hotel Devi Annex near Saraswatipuram. When checked with a couple of locals, they said it was a branch of Hanumanthu. Tried Mutton Palav, nati koli palav, kalmi, and mutton chops (I had company). The kalmi was average and all the other items were bakwas. Prices were high, cleanliness was missing, and the total experience was forgettable. I will never visit this place again, for sure. Surprisingly, the reviews for this place are a mixed bunch. It is pretty difficult to gage the worth of a place without actually visiting the place.

Worst taste and meat… go only biryani to taste and it’s good but not addictive… Meat in biryani is bad and quantity is large…

I love the mutton Biriyani here. I have tried Naati koli Biriyani but mutton Biriyani is my favorite. Kalmi kebab is good too. Quantity they provide is very good for the price.

This is my opinion but I really DO NOT understand how people like the food here. OVERRATED. It did not clear any criteria a good dish shud taste, looks or smell. It wasn't even served hot. The prices were not even worth it. Maybe it was good a few years ago..but now it's not even worth going to. Infact, we left and came without eating the whole thing. Bad experience.

  • 2/5 Vikas G. 2 years ago on Google
**"Taste is not as main hanumanthu pulav"** Littraly some other HOTTEL biryani is for better then this Devi HOTTEL. Realy worthless waste of money. They use planty of dalda (Vanaspati) and the mutton also not in the proper taste. When come to mutton kurma, and mutton fry you realy don't like the taste. And please don't take mutton boti fry(you won't eat 20% of the item). If you searching for best biryani or hanumanthu biryani please don't go this branch.
