πŸ‘πŸ‘ Excellent ghee dosa with their special red chutney and sagu. Very satisfying. The Vada was great. And to top it we got coffee. That sealed the deal. 4.5/5 A must try place if you are in Mysore! PS: the reason why there is only one plate of food is because we were breakfast hopping from mylari πŸ˜› People often mention dosa, ghee, taste, chutney, hotel, good, visit, Dosa, dose, authentic,

Had lot of expectations about this place. But my expectations turned into sad reality as soon as I tasted first piece of Dosa. Dosa served to me was utterly tasteless and was very bland. The chutney was spicy as per my liking but it didn't compensate the tasteless Dosa. The ghee they poured on Dosa was too greasy and the overall food quality seemed very poor. Vada on the other hand was good with its crispy texture and right flavour. The place is very small with limited seating capacity. It will get crowded easily during peak hours and on weekends. Since it opens up widely to the busy road, the dust raised from the vehicle moment will settle on your food. Service is quite quick but don't expect any royal treatment. It's more like a quick eatery place. I don't know why this place has got such huge hype despite of such huge flaws. I'm really disappointed with this restaurant and do not recommend at all. -BeingBakasura

A small hotel in mysore which is running from so many years. It is literally my childhood memories. We used to eat ghee dosa from this girl from more than 29 years. The hot crispy ghee dosa gives a good taste when that sagu and red chutney mix together. This hotel opens at 7 30am and closes at 11 am. The only bad thing is this ghee dosa is made of vanaspati so make it as a occasional visit. But it is worth a visit when you are in mysore for this iconic taste.

Tuppada dosa at its best Crispy inside and soft edges. Amazingly made chutney n gravy. Waaaah. Amazing food. Don’t expect comfort here! The old wooden tables, food served on leaf! Very traditional n authentic!! The waiters r so warm n down to earth! Must visit

This hotel goes to the list of best dosa in mysuru. The crispiness of the dosa is compared to chips by many. You also get normal dosa(no ghee),idly and also chapathi are main food items here. The chutney and sagu both are decent, don't have too much expectations. The masala vade is crunchy and well cooked. They serve in traditional way (leaf plate). The seating here is around for 20 people, so the waiting time can be there. You won't get parking as the hotel is in the main road, even for 2 wheelers it can be difficult.

Saw this hotel while cycling on weekends. After giving it a try, i realised its made up of maida Dalda/vanaspathi not Thuppa or Ghee. I don't think he can call it as Thuppada dosa. Giving 2 stars for the service, chatni and polite attitude of the staff.

One of the must visit places in Mysuru. Very tasty food. The place is small but very clean and food even though limited options is super yummy. Special mention to their red chutney and potato sagu. Cherry on the cake is the excellent service, the people running this place are very polite and humble. Will go back here every time I visit mysuru.

So visited this eatery in namma mysore! More of a vintage style hotel! Their authentic Tuppad dose is as crisp as a chips! Amazing taste! Their spicy red chutney is simply superb! And comes masala vade properly fried with blended spices! Affordable prices! Floating crowd! Vintage style seating with wooden benches! As it’s located in Main road difficult to find parking for πŸš— cars! And two wheelers as well! But do visit once!

Very tasty and mild crispy dose, with spicy red chutney and aloo palya. Other option was idli and chapathi. Idili was soft as well. It's a very old hotel located in agrahara Mysuru. A must visit place

One of the oldest shops in agrahara. This place is always crowded. Tuppad dosa was crispy and tasty. Aloo palya was good. Chutney was bit spicy. Do try this place πŸ‘Œ

Loved it must try authentic dosa and palya will take you to next world one dosa will cost you 20rs. Week end little rush will be there. Hardly 20people can fit inside but believe me it's total worth of waiting and money. Please maintain same taste don't become like other hotels. Keep it going and many will bless after eating this awesome dosa.

It's a modest place in the city agrahar area. Seems to be a long standing and very popular with locals. There is always a waiting.. only limited number of tables and limited space Very inexpensive but serves quality. Their tuppad ghee dosa is most popular. But actually everything is very good.

Awesome Dose. Saagu was too salty. The savior was red chutney. Coffee is ok-ok.

Tuppa/ghee dosa is fantastic... The ghee gives the dosa a nice roasty crunch. This paired with their chutney was awesome... Oh ho ah ha ha ah... Wow... Chapati palya also was super tasty... And prices were lowest ever..... Great food... Full five stars with a great double πŸ‘πŸ½πŸ‘πŸ½

The dosas here are just too good. It's super hot and they give it right away. There is a lot of ghee on dosa it's feels amazing to have.. I really enjoyed the dosas here. Try it once if you visit Namma Mysore ❀️

This is the best and most authentic place for breakfast. I was so impressed by their authentic chutney for Dosa. This can be a best dosa stop for your Sunday cheap and best breakfast. However, I wouldn't recommend if you're expecting a great ambiance. Service was great and the pricing was reasonable. Try this if you're someone yearning to try authentic food of Mysore.

Taste wise its like a normal dosey we have at our homes nothing special. The biggest con - it's not ghee dosey it's Dalda, you can clearly make out from the smell and the taste There is another tuppa dosey hotel which also does the same..

I had Ghee dosa ( Thuppa dose) along with Vada ( small) here, dosa taste was good, but chutney and saagu taste to be improved

Very Small Hotel which serves Tuppa da Dose, Idly, Vade and Chapati. I personal experience was not that great. As I did not like the taste of Tuppa da dose so much. But the hotel ispretty famous in Mysore for its Authentic Tuppa da Dose. Over all I would give 3 starts for the taste.

One of my favourite joints during the college days. Tasty, affordable and easy to reach this place. It’s been 20 yrs now and they have maintained the taste of the tuppada dose as it is.

Here they will use Vanaspati Ruchi oil, that is not equivalent to Ghee, this is hazardous to our health

Good for occasional dine-in, although has a above average taste, not worth the hype it has

  • 3/5 vinay c. 2 years ago on Google
I visited this hotel with an expectation as reviewed by others. But to my expectation tuppa dose was not having an odour of tuppa at least. Bele vade was good. I guess only the old name drives the customers to this place. I didn’t find anything special about this hotel for visiting again. Overall I am giving a 3 star for food taste. Hotel can accommodate up to 10-14 people at a time. You can get servings faster since waiter was very active in giving service for customers.
