Worst experience ever...... they are looting the customers by charging rs 200 for just a tin pepsi it is highly inconvinceble and the food cost is very much high.... taste was not soo up to the expectations

The rooms are comfortable and food is very good Now coming to the reason for reducing 2 stars. They set our expectations right before leaving that they may not be able to accommodate early check-in, but still we reached early and waited 1 hr. We expected to be greeted with a welcome drink, but got nothing..then thought maybe they don't do it here. After check in to the room ,we came down for lunch at 1 and saw other guests given coconut water, children given balloons (saw the same next day as well). Therefore I am confused by this discriminatory behavior from the staff!! Same night we ordered for milk at 9.30 pm..till 10.20 we waited and finally canceled because we were really tired and irate with this kind of service. The hotel gets lots of bookings maybe because of location and food. I saw lots of foreign tourists...so looks like the hotel takes more bookings than it can manage. Only piece of advise is give equal attention to all your guests! For me neither I will recommend to anyone nor come back again. Others can take their chance

The place is really pleasant to sit and there are options for private date also. We were not aware else would have opted for it ( The decor was really beautiful for the date ). We tried their cocktail and were really happy with them they were light as well as well balanced. While the food might take little while if its too crowded the taste and their hospitality will make you really happy. Their curd with masala and garlic is a delight especially with biryani. Their shorbas were also were full of well balanced spicies.

This hotel is fairly well located, and easy to spot. The staff is very warm and receptive. The food is excellent overall, apart from the sub par breakfast. Restaurants are good too, with a rooftop setting and good ambience. The in room service is quick, and courteous as well. All necessities are taken care of and provided as and when you need. The highlights of this hotel are the restaurants, spa (plus steam), and the warm hospitality. The biggest issue for me was the clumsy washroom.

My wife and I stayed here for two nights. Check in was prompt and convenient. The valet service was good. The lobby had a wonderful ambiance and also smelled amazing. The staff was nice and friendly and attentive. I am giving this place 3 stars because of some facilities that were not as promised. One, the blue bar restaurant by the pool side was not open. There was only the main restaurant downstairs available. The spa also did not offer all the services they had on their pamphlet. They only had few massages available but no facial treatments. The food could also be improved. Breakfast time started at 7am; however they only started setting up at that time. That was a little disappointing. They should definitely try to have breakfast ready on the time they say it starts. The lunch buffet did not have many non veg options which was also a bummer. Other than that room service was good and house keepers were excellent. I hope they improve their cuisine because that would make a huge difference.

It was great . The best was food and service provided. It was amazing. Amarjeet was there at dine and he was the best. polite, well behaved and whatever you ask without delay it will be in your table. However room was okay okay not that much maintained as a 5 star hotel would be. Carpet in room was not clean , towel in bathroom was not clean… stain in bed sheets … they need to improve that in cleanliness. but food and people service is best.

I stayed for a couple of days with family and it's really a fantastic place for a stay. Service is awesome and all the places are very clean and hygienic. Morning breakfast was too good with a lot of options.. they take care of even sick customers as well with light food like Kanji which I felt special here. They have an auto and if you wish to roam around, you can opt for it. It's center of the city and all other tourism places are very close by. Overall, we loved our stay.

Though it lacks vegetarian options ( a single vegetarian soup), the items are tasty and are served with a smile.

The hotel is very well appointed and the location is ideal for people who want to take city tours. Views aren't great from the rooms but gets compensated by what the hotel offers. Rooms are tastefully done and are spic ! Folks at the reception were very polite and helpful. Restaurant is well planned and spacious. Kati rolls are a must try, loved it. Local delicacies weren't upto the mark and can surely improve. A good place for families and doubles up as a business hotel.... PS - the entire hotel is non-smoking. So smokers, be prepared to walk a bit (or take a walk 😜)

I had an absolutely wonderful experience during my recent three-night stay here. The staff were incredibly attentive and welcoming. The rooms were clean & hygiene. The Breakfast and Dinner Buffet were good. Would recommend to add more varieties in the buffet menu. One aspect that particularly stood out was the thoughtful provision of complementary food options for small kids. Overall, my stay at Grand Mercure was an unforgettable experience. Will highly recommend your hotel to friends and family.

Rooms are clean and neat. Bit costly. Laundry available but with 5* charges. Parking is very small and confusing. You have to park vehicle and walk 2 floors on slope. No lift facility from parking. They expect everyone having driver(even on bike). It's really disappointing. Please consider having a lift for customers.

Me, my husband and our 2 year old stayed in Grand Mercure Mysore, for 2 days and found our stay and experience extremely comfortable and relaxing. The hotel is very kid friendly and found the entire staff very kind, smiling and friendly towards everyone they serve. Loved the affectionate feeling they give, which is rare to experience in its true form of hospitality. The rooms were a little smaller than our expectations but comfortable nevertheless. The food is good. We tried their daily breakfast buffet and a dinner. The breakfast buffet options were limited but all good. If I would say one thing that could have been slightly better then that would be the variety in the breakfast options. Other than that, it was still decent and met expectations from a taste perspective. Will highly recommend for your stay while in Mysore and will undoubtedly consider this place for my best visit as well.

On 04.05.2018, we went to this hotel for celebrating my birthday along with my colleagues. Ambience was very good. But variety of food items was almost nil for the money we pay for buffet and the service was worst. When i asked i want to meet GM for giving the feedback, he was not accessible. Never will venture again to visit this place. Party mood itself was lost. Felt very bad.

Rooms were good. Room service was good. I stayed for a few weeks and the buffet meals were the same. You could order certain things that weren't on the buffet with the buffet cost which was a bonus. Management and chef was very attentive. Drinks prices were expensive. The children make a lot of noise in the rooms late at night which does get very annoying. It is a family hotel so that is to be expected.

Horrible service. They took extremely long time to even provide us with a menu. Then they place the food without bothering to serve. The sofa seats were wet as well. Ambience is disappointing.

Very good experience. Clean rooms, good staff, nice night dining with city view and Persian menu. Breakfast was also good quality and variety for Vegans as well. This is a place I would happily bring also my parents if I want to show them South of India. One manager at night even checked for us the Mysore Palace details and gave other sightseeing tips.

We stayed for two nights at this hotel for the first time. The check in and room services were all good. The room and washroom were clean. The biggest concern were two: the food we ordered to our rooms were not upto our expectation and the aroma from the diffuser at the entrance was so strong. We didn’t use the pool but it was small and worth a dip if it’s a hot summer day.

It is decent place any way in Mysore food average at any hotel or restaurant

This is quite a huge hotel with good parking and an amazing breakfast menu. The rooms are good. Service is good. And their pool is on the top which is also amazing. Once you enter the hotel there is this amazing royal sandalwood fragrance all over the lobby which makes you feel really nice. Their welcome drink is very refreshing and they try a lot of different varieties as well.

We celebrated our family gathering at hotels banquet hall. It was truly wonderful experience starting from event decoration, service during the event and finally serving delicious food and wine... I really appreciate the effort of staffs who try hard to keep us safe. They followed all covid protocols. Room was sanitized and it was very tidy, spacious. Housekeeping staff were helpful. They changed the linen on daily basis. We stayed happily and felt very safe. Thanks 😊

The hotel stay was comfortable. Felt safe all covid protocols in place. Hotel is centrally located and all places in Mysore easily accessible. I had opted for all 3 meals. The food spread is vast and variety and food quality is wonderful. All veg and non veg option on buffet menu for lunch and dinner. Room is very spacious, bathroom is well maintained. Will definitely be staying here whenever visiting again.

The hotel is really well maintained and has a very nice ambiance. The first thing you’ll like about the hotel is the fragrance as you enter. Very neat and clean. Staff is polite and the receptionists are very attentive. The check-in is usually smooth and the stay is very comfortable. Rooms are very spacious and very cozy & well maintained. Food is good to taste. I have stayed here almost 3 times and I think My first preference will always be this hotel whenever I come to Mysore. The building infrastructure from outside itself is very attractive.

This was my first stay at Mysore with family. I am glad I stayed here. Aesthetics are good. Breakfast buffet spread was liked by my daughter. Staff is well mannered and well trained in hospitality. Swimming at the roof is a delightful experience.

We visited for two nights and the stay has been pleasant. We have a 5yr old kid who needs milk in the morning and evening times and every time we called the restaurant, they sent the milk as per our requirement in a very quick time; further, they didn't charge for it. Truly appreciates this kind of hospitality.

We went for one night stay as part of our Mysore trip. We’re two families with one child each. Pros: Location of the hotel is in the city Center and has ample car parking. Rooms are cleaned. All useful amenities are already there. Service was very prompt during breakfast. The staffs were very courteous and taken care of special food needs of our kids. Cons: Towels in bathroom were dirty. Even after asking for hand towels for the kids, we never got any. Breakfast was usually cold. We’re sorted outside and there were lot of flies due to which lot of food got wasted. 😒 The breakfast was overall bad. Not as per five star standard. Shall we stay again? No.

Excellent ! Mr.Sunny (Chef) at the hotel was outstanding in his magic. We required Jain food throughout. He cared for our food and regularly followed up for the same. He did his job so well, we did not expect to get such a tasty Jain food in South India. But it was amazing. The place also had a small kids playarea, with - trampoline. The rooms were good, the ambiance was beautiful.

Good place to stay in Mysore but on the higher side. Rooftop pool is great and service was quite good and facilities also good. But morning breakfast was terrible to say the least. They had a expansive menu but not a single item was good. Probably it was just an one off day or it was some non - south Indian cooking South Indian breakfast but the food experience was poor.

The service of the brunch buffet is very poor. I had called to take reservations yet I was give a bad sitting area. Just when we arrived a big group of foreigners arrived at the same time. They were only focused on catering to them. The food even got over, they took a long while to refill it. They are under staffed. Talking about the food, taste and quality was good. But there are multiple factors on which you would rate a place and even if your food is good but service is terrible it's not one of the best places around.

The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. Housekeeping is excellent. We love how the rooms and toilets are cleaned thoroughly, bed linens and towels changed every day. Even the spa is cleaned and sanitized after each appointment. Love how Ms. Anusha and the rest of the staff members are friendly. We would definitely stay here again.

1) Breakfast buffet was the highlight of our 2 day stay here. The options were great and so was the food. The rooms were as pictured on the internet and the lobby area was well decorated for Christmas and New Year celebrations. 2) We used the swimming pool (no additional charges) and the spa services (additional charges). 3) All staff were professional. 4) They can improve on the in-room services (TV and kettle were not working times to times but were fixed as requested) and the wallet parking services (takes forever for the staff to pull up our car from the parking area).

What an amazing property. Stayed for one night but surely going to visit again. Clean and tidy room. COVID protocols are maintained well. Breakfast buffet is amazing, specially the live counter. The Rooms were properly sanitized and made ready before our arrival. The staff at the hotel were very helpful. The food at their In-house restaurant was very good with a lot of savouring options. Overall it was a great experience as expected by the Accor Group of Hotels.

We stayed at this hotel last week for a couple of nights and enjoyed our stay thoroughly. The restaurant was good and an open dining area was good . the staff are courteous and helpful and the rooms are very well-maintained. All COVID 19 precautions are diligently observed. The breakfast on both days was very tasty with a good mix of Indian and Continental cuisines. I would love to stay here again!

Our stay at grand mercure was excellent. Welcome drinks tasted yummy... Fragrance at lobby was good. Once I entered the room I felt very happy for that. No loss for the amount we paid. Hygiene and protocols maintained well. Thank u team for making our stay more beautiful...!!

Grand Mercure Mysore is a very good hotel. Maintenance and service are good. We stayed here for 2 days, hot water and AC are maintained cool. Also staff behaviour is very decent. Totally we loved the hotel.

Nice cozy hotel. Spent some time by the pool as well. Comfortable stay. But don't expect 5 star facilities. The carpet had musky smell. But bathrooms and bed was neat and clean. We just had to spend night there and leave so it was ok.
