This is a small Danish Lutheran Church or Kirke (Diocese of Greenland) and is located not far from the centre of the Nanortalik village. Built in 1916 and of a beautiful wooden construction in a distinctive style, it's an attractive church with a unique architecture.

Interesting interior for this rather large church. At least large for Nanortalik. Great views from the grounds surrounding this church.

Nanortalik church is tiny, but actually the whole village is very small with less than 1,300 people living there. This place gives you the real taste of Greenland.

Visited August 2024 A beautiful authentic church, a real eye-catcher in this small coastal town. Definitely worth a visit if visiting the area.

Very charming. Make sure to take a photo of the outside. It complements the mountains in the background.

Very quaint Lutheran church with a free toilet. It's also free entry. In this small town there s not a lot to see but this is worth a visit. There is also an anchor monument outside worth a photo.

Just a beautiful old church that has stood there and takes all that nature throws at it
